President Joe Biden allied his Department of Agriculture with liberal activist groups to register Americans to vote and staff polling locations, potentially in violation of federal law, according to a memo shared with the Daily Caller.
The practice has since been undone by President Donald Trump, who directed his administration to conduct a review of the Biden administration’s federal get-out-the-vote programs.
Biden signed an executive order in March 2021, rescinded by Trump in March 2025, which required federal agencies to register and mobilize voters. Under Biden’s order, the USDA partnered with the American Civil Liberties Union and Dēmos, a left-wing public policy advocacy group, to implement the president’s plan,

In recent years, I’ve sometimes invoked Rudyard Kipling’s The Gods of the Copybook Headings, usually when something goes wrong because people did something obviously stupid.
Well, to be fair, that’s the main subject of the poem: how being entranced by popular but dumb ideas leads to destruction. But there’s another side to it. When you do things that are simple and obvious — and, often, traditional — you can do pretty well.
And we’re seeing that illustrated, at home and abroad.
At home, the allegedly insoluble illegal immigration problem is being solved, via the simple and obvious, and traditional, approach of policing the borders and deporting people who are here illegally.

Herman Cain lives!
The late great Republican Tea Party leader, CEO, and former chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve was derided in his 2012 presidential campaign for his "Chilean Model" proposed during a debate -- a plan to replace the failing Social Security system with private accounts, as had been done in Chile in the 1970s.
In reality, he had an enduringly good idea that would have saved the rapidly depleting U.S. Social Security system just as it saved Chile's, and made every saver in the U.S. richer. But the left demonized it without a hearing, (Snip)
Now President Trump has picked up the torch.

In all the hoopla about the One Big Beautiful Bill, one provision went completely overlooked—but that provision is now primed to usher in the rebirth of the great American car.
Back in 1975, in a panic over the Arab oil embargo and phony predictions that the world was running out of oil, Congress passed the Energy Policy and Conservation Act. That bill gave government bureaucrats the power to set “corporate average fuel economy” standards for cars sold in the U.S.
Under the rule, if all the cars sold by an automaker in a given year failed to meet the government’s miles per gallon target, the company would pay massive fines.

It’s not often that one of my pieces is composed primarily of descriptions of other sources(Snip)
But today I’ve had several pieces of information come at me from others,
And all of them concern the Online Harms Act, which is already in force, and the Crime and Policing Bill, which will if passed soon also become an Act of Parliament and the settled law of the United Kingdom.
I believe these two pieces of legislation represent the end of democracy and liberty in the UK. The kind of moaning and complaining I do will be illegal. The kind of discussion and disillusionment millions share about this government will be illegal.

Last year, California scientists sparked outrage with a botched test on an old aircraft carrier, spraying saltwater to create artificial clouds and block sunlight.
The tiny Alameda trial lasted just 20 minutes before furious city officials yanked the plug, slamming the team for zero advance notice.
The team responsible were involved with the Marine Cloud Brightening Program based in the University of Washington.
Now documents exposed by Politico, through an open records request to the University of Washington, reveal they plotted a far bigger gamble: a multimillion-dollar ocean experiment covering an area larger than Puerto Rico, aimed at cooling the planet.

I know, I know. We have been in the midst of a blizzard of important domestic and world events this summer, (Snip)
But in the midst of all this, we should not forget the 85th birthday of that beloved all-American trickster and practical joker, Bugs Bunny. A look back at the original cartoon series shows just how much that rabbit reflected the culture.
On July 27, 1940, the wisecracking, mouthy bunny with a Brooklyn accent got his official start in the Looney Tunes classic “A Wild Hare,” in which he bamboozles and confuses the most unsuccessful and hapless hunter in American history, Elmer Fudd, for the first of many times.

There is no evidence... that Jews were behind the alleged arson. [US Ambassador to Israel Mike] Huckabee should be commended for understanding that the Palestinians had lied to him when they claimed that Jews were behind the arson.
"In recent days, a despicable and false blood libel has been raging around the world against the settlements, reminiscent of dark periods in Europe, and it has so far managed to deceive quite a few lovers of Israel in the US... No 'nationalist crime' event by Jews was carried out, no church was set on fire, and no cemetery was desecrated. Exactly the opposite

Among the climatically correct, nothing is more scandalous than describing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as beneficial. You can be blacklisted from public forums, professional networking sites, and even be removed from your tenured university position as an accomplished scientist.
Nonetheless, the truth is this: CO2 is fundamental to the photosynthetic process by which plants make food for themselves -- and ultimately for us. Furthermore, the increase in atmospheric CO2 from industrial activity in the past century has helped vegetation over most of the planet to flourish. Also benefiting plants has been the relative warmth of recent decades.
Among the beneficiaries are fruit plants, whose sensitivity to cold is well established.

Half the country is up in arms about President Donald Trump’s inexplicable decision to mock his base, because many are appalled that Attorney General Pam Bondi seems to be orchestrating a coverup of a serial rapist of children.
(Snip) Because I spent decades in the same elite liberal circles that sheltered Epstein, I am not puzzled.
It has, in my view, to do with “the network.”
I think that it is likely that multiple people who are critical to this administration’s success — my guess is, that these are mostly guys from the Silicon Valley community (Snip)— whether they are innocent or guilty, are in the Epstein files.

The floodgates holding back long-buried classified documents exposing government efforts to claim Donald Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin to manipulate the 2016 U.S. presidential election might finally be opening.
Trump administration officials held an urgent meeting Sunday to discuss “new information on Russiagate,” which they might use to build a criminal conspiracy case against Obama and Biden administration political appointees who allegedly weaponized the government against Trump, (Snip)
The documents are said to contain long-classified information, including a secret 200-page congressional audit that reveals details about how an intelligence community assessment on Russia ordered by President Obama after the 2016 election was framed in a way that portrayed Trump as

The storms in rural Texas have been devastating, and the Trump Administration has acted swiftly. (Snip) FEMA’s initial slow response under the Biden Administration has been well-documented, and the partisan way that they provided assistance is reprehensible.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, noting the early inaction, was incensed. She claimed that the weather was being used as a weapon. Where MTG got her information is still uncertain. It is, however, becoming clearer as time marches on that governments around the world have been exploring the potential for controlling the weather. This quest goes back many decades, and the doubting Thomases among us are being naive.
Comments:
There seems to be no end of slimy Democrat schemes. I hope the Trump administration can root them out, and the same goes for state and local governments.
