The fruitful results of increasing CO2

Original Article

Among the climatically correct, nothing is more scandalous than describing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as beneficial. You can be blacklisted from public forums, professional networking sites, and even be removed from your tenured university position as an accomplished scientist. Nonetheless, the truth is this: CO2 is fundamental to the photosynthetic process by which plants make food for themselves -- and ultimately for us. Furthermore, the increase in atmospheric CO2 from industrial activity in the past century has helped vegetation over most of the planet to flourish. Also benefiting plants has been the relative warmth of recent decades. Among the beneficiaries are fruit plants, whose sensitivity to cold is well established.

Comments:

My first reaction to this is "Well, duh." But as the first paragraph points out, saying that CO2 is good for plants is almost a capital offence. Thank goodness these morons can't control what actual greenhouse owners or farmers do with CO2.

They pump it into greenhouses! The entire scheme is to reduce the food supply, and making the useless eaters dependent on their rulers.

Oh Vijay! What does truth matter if you can't find a job and eat? Jesting aside, our universities and federal grants are reserved for liberals, socialists, Democrats, and all of those who kneel at the altar of climate change. Vijay, you had better work hard to make sure the GOP wins next year and that Trump is succeeded by a like-minded soul or else be prepared to starve.

Truth here. And I have heard that the improvement in fertility is largest for the marginal lands, which is to say, CO2 helps the poorest most. So inevitably the left is against it, as they infallibly pick the wrong side of everything. It's like their doom. you can have money and fame and power and beauty but everything you touch will turn to dripping blood, war, and the hunger of the poor. Sign Up!

On a side note, absolutely none of their climate change models is anywhere close to accurate. Climate Change is a religion started by the Soviet Union in order to hamstring Western Industrial Might, as the Reds couldn't (can't) keep up with capitalism.

Blame CO2! Blame it for everything! I am always struck by the climate changer's simplified view of our complex planet. Have they thought out what they are saying? At times like this it feels like my brain is shouting at me. Wrong!

110 million years ago, dinosaurs were thriving. Plant life was abundant. Global temperatures were just about what they are. The CO2 levels? They were 2800 - 3000 ppm compared to today’s 400 ppm. Ask these Climate alarmists why Greenland is called that? Because when Norsemen reached its shores it was green. Like Ireland. Today it is under 2000 ft of solid ice.

Half the country is up in arms about President Donald Trump’s inexplicable decision to mock his base, because many are appalled that Attorney General Pam Bondi seems to be orchestrating a coverup of a serial rapist of children. (Snip) Because I spent decades in the same elite liberal circles that sheltered Epstein, I am not puzzled. It has, in my view, to do with “the network.” I think that it is likely that multiple people who are critical to this administration’s success — my guess is, that these are mostly guys from the Silicon Valley community (Snip)— whether they are innocent or guilty, are in the Epstein files.

The floodgates holding back long-buried classified documents exposing government efforts to claim Donald Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin to manipulate the 2016 U.S. presidential election might finally be opening. Trump administration officials held an urgent meeting Sunday to discuss “new information on Russiagate,” which they might use to build a criminal conspiracy case against Obama and Biden administration political appointees who allegedly weaponized the government against Trump, (Snip) The documents are said to contain long-classified information, including a secret 200-page congressional audit that reveals details about how an intelligence community assessment on Russia ordered by President Obama after the 2016 election was framed in a way that portrayed Trump as

The storms in rural Texas have been devastating, and the Trump Administration has acted swiftly. (Snip) FEMA’s initial slow response under the Biden Administration has been well-documented, and the partisan way that they provided assistance is reprehensible. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, noting the early inaction, was incensed. She claimed that the weather was being used as a weapon. Where MTG got her information is still uncertain. It is, however, becoming clearer as time marches on that governments around the world have been exploring the potential for controlling the weather. This quest goes back many decades, and the doubting Thomases among us are being naive.

Still reveling in his political comeback after surviving two near-miss assassination attempts, last December, then-President-elect Trump stopped by the Christmas party of the Secret Service detail that was responsible for both saving his life and the failures that nearly ended it. (Snip) Fast forward seven months, just days away from the one-year anniversary of the failures at the Butler rally: The Secret Service announced limited disciplinary actions for those it deemed responsible for security lapses. Six agents, including Myosoty Perez, whom Trump was referring to at the December party, have been placed on 10-42 days of unpaid leave for their roles in the egregious security breaches.

Last year, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, despite being in her early 50s and having an undistinguished career before her affirmative action appointment, published a memoir. You might be forgiven for having missed it when “Lovely One” came out. As the media politely notes, it was “briefly” on the New York Times bestseller list and is now going for half price on Amazon. That is mostly to be expected of the ghostwritten memoir of an obscure judge. Except that Jackson received a $893,750 advance for her memoir and is now reporting $2 million in profits last year. These would be record numbers for a Supreme Court Justice’s biography from a book

Last week, Israel launched a bold and necessary campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran — a regime that has spent the last four decades chanting “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” while funding terror from Beirut to Baghdad. Jerusalem had hoped that, in this historic moment, the United States — and particularly President Donald Trump — would rise to meet it. Not with speeches or sternly worded social media posts, but with the kind of moral clarity and action that once defined American leadership. Instead, we hear delay. Hesitation. (Snip) During the first Trump administration, he had championed the revival of classical architecture as the chairman of the Commission of Fine Arts, and he wanted to bring the same aesthetic principles to bear on a new Penn Station — not just for the sake of the city’s harried commuters, but as a statement about the resurgent greatness of America in the Trump era.

San Francisco native Tucker Carlson is celebrating the demise of the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism. Just kidding. He’s actually having conniptions. As a (the?) principal voice of the growing “woke right,” Carlson preaches blissfully ignoring global threats, especially if Israel factors into the equation, while sanctimoniously attacking anyone who realizes it’s a cruel world out there, filled with evil actors waiting to attack. Remember 9/11? Remember when Iran orchestrated slaughtering 241 Americans in Beirut in 1983, or hundreds of American deaths in Iraq? When Iran promised death to America, it wasn't bluffing. California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) issued a demand Monday for the “immediate withdrawal” of all soldiers from Los Angeles, after the Pentagon announced that the U.S. Marines would be pulling out of the city. In a statement, Newsom said: The women and men of the California National Guard deserve more than to continue serving as puppets in Trump and Stephen Miller’s performative political theater. There was never a need for the military to deploy against civilians in Los Angeles. The damage is done, however. We, again, call upon them to do the right thing and end the militarization once and for all.

Hunter Biden really walked smack into it when he “crashed out” during a YouTube interview with Andrew Callaghan that was released today. Now, when you look at the data, Hunter is of course completely wrong: statistically, whites commit the fewest crimes…by far. And, if you were to remove all the blacks and Hispanics included in those “white” crime statistics, that number no doubt falls drastically. However, in one sense, Hunter is right on the money: White men are significantly more likely to commit a crime…if you’re a white man like a Biden. If you’re a “white man” with the last name Biden,
