Among the climatically correct, nothing is more scandalous than describing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as beneficial. You can be blacklisted from public forums, professional networking sites, and even be removed from your tenured university position as an accomplished scientist. Nonetheless, the truth is this: CO2 is fundamental to the photosynthetic process by which plants make food for themselves -- and ultimately for us. Furthermore, the increase in atmospheric CO2 from industrial activity in the past century has helped vegetation over most of the planet to flourish. Also benefiting plants has been the relative warmth of recent decades. Among the beneficiaries are fruit plants, whose sensitivity to cold is well established.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a despicable organization. It has spent its lifetime attacking and lying about organizations that don’t agree with its leftist policies. But it’s finally being challenged for defamation by the Dustin Inman Society, an organization involved in immigrant issues. Unfortunately, SPLC claims they are a hate group and anti-immigration. The Society is pursuing a defamation lawsuit against the SPLC:

San Francisco native Tucker Carlson is celebrating the demise of the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism. Just kidding. He’s actually having conniptions. As a (the?) principal voice of the growing “woke right,” Carlson preaches blissfully ignoring global threats, especially if Israel factors into the equation, while sanctimoniously attacking anyone who realizes it’s a cruel world out there, filled with evil actors waiting to attack. Remember 9/11? Remember when Iran orchestrated slaughtering 241 Americans in Beirut in 1983, or hundreds of American deaths in Iraq? When Iran promised death to America, it wasn't bluffing. According to a Defense Department press release, Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Michael J. Borgschulte has been nominated to replace Navy Vice Adm. Yvette Davids as the superintendent of the renowned military school. Davids — who was nominated to her now-former position by President Joe Biden — has since been reassigned to be the deputy chief of Naval Operations for Operations, Plans, Strategy, and Warfighting Development.

Hunter Biden really walked smack into it when he “crashed out” during a YouTube interview with Andrew Callaghan that was released today. Now, when you look at the data, Hunter is of course completely wrong: statistically, whites commit the fewest crimes…by far. And, if you were to remove all the blacks and Hispanics included in those “white” crime statistics, that number no doubt falls drastically.
However, in one sense, Hunter is right on the money: White men are significantly more likely to commit a crime…if you’re a white man like a Biden.

My first reaction to this is "Well, duh." But as the first paragraph points out, saying that CO2 is good for plants is almost a capital offence. Thank goodness these morons can't control what actual greenhouse owners or farmers do with CO2.
