Among the climatically correct, nothing is more scandalous than describing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as beneficial. You can be blacklisted from public forums, professional networking sites, and even be removed from your tenured university position as an accomplished scientist.
Nonetheless, the truth is this: CO2 is fundamental to the photosynthetic process by which plants make food for themselves -- and ultimately for us. Furthermore, the increase in atmospheric CO2 from industrial activity in the past century has helped vegetation over most of the planet to flourish. Also benefiting plants has been the relative warmth of recent decades.
Among the beneficiaries are fruit plants, whose sensitivity to cold is well established.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a despicable organization. It has spent its lifetime attacking and lying about organizations that don’t agree with its leftist policies. But it’s finally being challenged for defamation by the Dustin Inman Society, an organization involved in immigrant issues. Unfortunately, SPLC claims they are a hate group and anti-immigration. The Society is pursuing a defamation lawsuit against the SPLC:

Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary Prince of Darkness and one of heavy metal’s most iconic stars, has died. He was 76.
He died “surrounded by love,” his family said in a statement to The Sun on Tuesday. “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. Here's a common tactic of the legacy media: Find an activist with credentials in a field they haven't worked with in years, someone with a laundry list of made-up grievances, someone fundamentally bitter and angry, and have them speculate on some personal aspect of a person they've never met or spoken with.
Case in point: CNN recently trotted out a Dr. Chris Pernell, a left-wing activist who hasn't practiced medicine since her residency, to remote-diagnose President Trump's chronic venous insufficiency. It should come as no surprise that she immediately started crying the president's doom.
Comments:
First of all, the church is solid stone and cannot be set on fire. Second, the fire was set by Palestinians in a pasture used by the Israelis to graze their sheep. Third, footage purporting to be Israelis running to set the church on fire was actually showing Israelis running to put out the fire. And last, I hope Amb. Huckabee learned that following their leaders, jihadist Arabs lie as easily as they breathe, and the media worldwide swallow the lies like they were candy.
