As President Donald Trump marks six months into his second term — celebrating triumphs like ending numerous wars, slashing job-killing regulations, making tax cuts permanent, and signing over 140 executive orders to revive America's energy independence and economy — one persistent swamp creature threatens to derail it all.
In the depths of the “Washington swamp,” few figures embody the betrayal of true conservative values like Senator Lindsey Graham. Once a vocal critic of Donald Trump, Graham flipped like a pancake after the MAGA-leader took over the Oval office — raising eyebrows and fueling theories that he's been “activated” by shadowy forces.

A creature of habit, he is a GOP holdover from the years of our Party's subservience and likely incapable of change.

Miss Lindsey is increasingly unpopular here in SC and has primary challengers. I voted against him in 2020 in the primaries and will do so again next year.

Any Senator who has served more than two terms usually turns out to be evil, deceitful, greedy and works more for his own benefit than for the American people. Joe Biden, Fat Teddy,John McCain, Turtle McConnell and a whole bunch of others are in the same class as Lindsey. All embedded themselves like parasitic worms and attack the heart of America.

IMO, Graham has always been a Deep State RINO saboteur, and still is. I do not trust Graham.

I think Trump will find Graham a useful tool as a vote but will not trust him.
Graham should be primaried if a strong candidate can be found, however we need to not fight internal fights that would destroy our thin Congressional majorities. We need to pick our battles.

We have SO MUCH to thank the progs for, like the 17th amendment for instance.
Senators used to serve at the pleasure of their state and could be replaced in a millisecond.
But now they come up for popular election every 6 years and the Senate answers to NO ONE. The Senate is an independent limb of the legislative branch which is essentially under no supervision at all.
The 17th utterly broke the grand design of the Republic. Checks and balances...EXCEPT for the Senate.

I remember Graham and McCain giving their blessing to Obama's Middle East policy. End result: The formation of the Islamic State which Trump dismantled in six months after taking office in his first term. Washington is full of poisonous snakes, and Graham is definitely one of them. Graham might be trying to kiss Trump's rear end (reminds me of Mitt Romney), but Trump knows what he is dealing with and keeping him at arm's length.

Re #10, if the "Republicans" in Texas's legislature chose the state's senators, would Senator John Cornyn have any worries about serving another term?

Can't tell a book by its cover? Not true.
It only took an early appearance or two on my old TV for me (and others) to know all about Obama and Graham.

Oh yeah, Miss Lindsey is a Rino HOFer. We have the same kind of Rino in Texas, aka Cornyn, who is slightly less backstabbing as Graham. The Cornyn campaign is sweating already because support for one of his primary challengers, Ken Paxton, has been running steadily ahead of him. Consequently, the Cornyn campaign sent me a text asking for my support the other day. It took a lot for me not to contact them and cuss them out.
Unfortunately for us all, the Rino Virus is more widespread throughout the rest of the states than many realize. If you thought the communist loving leftist Democrats are a problem, wait till you see what it takes to dislodge all the Rinos from their ill-gotten seats.
