Democratic nominee for mayor Zohran Mamdani addressed the mass shooting at a Park Avenue office building while at his family’s private compound in Uganda, where he is celebrating his wedding. “I’m heartbroken to learn of the horrific shooting in midtown and I am holding the victims, their families, and the NYPD officer in critical condition in my thoughts,” Mamdani wrote in a post to X. (Snip) Mamdani is in Uganda celebrating his nuptials at a heavily guarded private compound in the wealthy Buziga Hill area outside the capital city, Kampala. Zohran would have surrounded the gunman with guidance counselors.

Zohran's optics are really bad. Helpless New Yorkers at the mercy of an armed nutcase compared with Kohran behind an high walled and gated area, guarded by many heavily armed, MASKED private police, in utter luxury.

It's a shame he wasn't already in the mayor's office. He would have had those social workers and his crisis response team handling this mess instead of the police and first responders. And all the people milling around could have hopped on the bus for free and hit up one of the government run grocery stores on the way home. If only . . . But all in all it was a peaceful shooting. He could have killed so many more. S/O NYC had better be thinking long and hard about November. PS to CNN/MSNBC he was not white. A three year old could have told them that.

Number one, he needs to be evicted, number two wake up, you guys in NYC. This guy will do nothing but bring down your city to the lowest level if has been. A generic statement from an insincere communist politician who did not mean a word his publicist wrote for him. He would gladly fire every one of those first responders in favor of his new vision for NYC. He also favors the homeless and mentally ill like the shooter and their "right" to roam the city. His statement is meaningless.

Tamura reportedly had a three-page suicide note inside his pocket, which claimed he had a brain injury from a contact sport and blamed the NFL.
