The terms Ukraine and government corruption are synonymous regardless of who is funding the schemes. After Volodymyr Zelenskyy grabbed more power by stripping two key anti-corruption agencies, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP), of their independence, protests erupted.
European leaders immediately noticed the intent of the power move and threatened Zelenskyy with a withdrawal of support. The current dictatorship of Zelensky and his small team then quickly reversed course. However, the damage is done, and once again Ukranian corruption is center stage.

Another "Media Darling" down the tubes. My leftist friends will have to find a new hero to fight Trump in their heads ... and worship on their social media pages.

The Ukrainians should throw out Zelensky. Get someone less corrupt and more flexible. Then ask Trump to deal with Putin to reach the 'best possible' deal. A solution with complete withdrawal of Russia is NOT feasible and the world should not be held hostage to that possibility. Russia should be forced to agree to a solution that guarantees Ukrainian independence and integrity.. Only Trump can do that.

It would be interesting to know why Sundance has a bad case of ZDS, and a huge crush on Putin.

But, but, but…Zelenskyy is just a victim, fighting for the freedom of his people. Right?

I don't want ZBoy to be "on the ropes" but it would be nice if one could be in his vicinity....

Europe's full and uncritical support of Zelensky always depended on the United States paying all the bills.

I'll never understand all the Zelensky hatred. Yeah, he is corrupt. So are most other leaders. There are plenty others that are worse than him.
The Russia-Ukraine war reminds me of the Iran-Iraq war. As long as the Iran-Iraq war went on, they were too busy with each other to bother anyone else. At least Zelensky is keeping Putin's attention and making it hard for Putin to focus on other targets. Zelensky is the likely reason Syria fell. Russia couldn't prop Syria up any longer since all their forces are committed to Ukraine.

We’ve been shoveling bazillions of dollars into Ukraine for how many years with no oversight or accountability on how it is spent. Of course the leaders are stealing it. They do the same in the US. As an American I do not want to support this useless drain of taxpayer money anymore. I never did. This war is unwinnable by either side. The sooner Trump ends it the better.

He's been good for nothing but the utter destruction of his once beautiful country. His arrogance and power lust has resulted in much sorrow and mass death for the people of Ukraine. It will take generations to recover from his stupidity to wage war against a super power.

Too bad you didn't take President Trumps offer to end the war, you could have gone out as a hero, now you could go out as a despot.

The globalists oligarchs are right on schedule...they want the war to continue because it fills their pockets...war is good business for the Power hungry....and I include Z with them...Ukraniane was chosen to be the victim...by the elites...and President Trump trying to stop the war is useless...putin smells a rat and will continue taking more land...and the globalists will buy more defense equipment for the Ukranians to keep the war going...it's their Middle East alternative....

#16 - Thank you for encapsulating the core issue. This horrible war was not really started by either Ukraine or Russia; it was started by the power brokers in the EU-WWIII Commietariat, and our own war-mongering Uniparty members. Looking at you in Hell, John McPain, and your other "esteemed senators" who made the pilgrimage to scoop up their graft...like Miss Lindsey.

The war started because we (Obama) wanted to keep a boogie man around and used Russia. How to get Russia to play the part was having more surrounding countries join NATO. Russia feels threatened and invades Ukraine. Be bold! Let Russia into NATO. We should have in 1989. Have a European Treaty Org. Then we can leave them to themselves
