Law enforcement in Ohio identified a slain police officer, and the man accused of killing him, after an ambush shooting that left two more officers injured took place on Wednesday. (Snip) "Officer Wagner, only 35 years old, gave his life in service to his community, a sacrifice that words can never fully honor. He was not only a dedicated officer, but a husband, father, son, brother, and friend,..." (Snip) Wagner, a Marine veteran, served with Lorain police for three years and the Sheffield Village Police Department for four years, ... He is survived by his wife and two children.

Comments:

Gleaned from other sources, Officer Wagner was a Marine veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan. Fellow officer, Brent Payne who was shot several times and having undergone several surgeries, insisted on being brought to the area of the hospital, propped up in a chair, to be among police officers from around the county lining the walls of the hospital to pay tribute to Officer Wagner as his flag-draped gurney was being brought out for transport to the county medical examiner’s facility. “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

#1~ Appreciate the time to taken to note this article about a Podunk town west of Cleveland, Ohio which was posted not only in tribute to this fallen officer and his family, but to all police officers for putting their lives on the line for public safety and enforcing the law. Two officers were having lunch in their respective patrol cars when the sniper shot them; a third officer came to assist and was shot; numerous other officers responded and the sniper met his demise at the scene. The wife of the handsome young officer who died had to make the decision to remove him from life support which had to be heart-wrenching, especially with two young children to be raised without their biological father. “Living Lord, may police officers wear the helmet of salvation and hope, carry the shield of faith and your Word, hold the sword of the Spirit, buckle the belt of truth around their waists, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and walk with the boots of readiness and peace. They is yours. Amen.” ~ Anonymous (Ephesians 6:10-20)

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard suggested last week that intelligence was "manufactured and politicized" by the most powerful people in the Obama administration in 2016 and Americans will finally learn the truth, but legacy media outlets didn’t take the announcement particularly seriously. (Snip) MSNBC, meanwhile, spent more time downplaying Gabbard's report and similarly suggested Republicans are using it to distract from unflattering news. "The latest distraction comes from the national intelligence director, Tulsi Gabbard, who put out a baseless report Friday accusing the Obama administration of manufacturing intelligence that laid the groundwork for the FBI’s Russia probe into Trump," MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin said.

Replacing high-fructose corn syrup with cane sugar could come at a cost, according to industry experts. (Snip) Bulk high-fructose corn syrup cost about $0.35 per pound for 2025, only rising from $0.27 in 2015, and remaining fairly close to this price in the past few years, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). In comparison, the price of refined white sugar is $1.01, which is up substantially from $0.61 in 2015. (Snip) Meanwhile, the Corn Refiners Association (CRA), argued that there would be severe economic implications if the industry eliminated high-fructose corn syrup,

I think he’s (Snip) He has racked up amazing, unprecedented policy accomplishments and Epstein is taking all the wind out of it--not just to his detriment, but ultimately to ours. There is no hell, sinful souls simply disappear”. These heretical ravings are directly opposed to the Catholic Faith, which teaches us that there is a particular Judgment for everyone, which Bergoglio could not escape. His soul has therefore not disappeared, nor has it dissolved: he will have to account for the crimes he has committed,...

Amid the rise of Islamist influence across the world, specifically in Western countries, France has decided to do what it does best: Preemptively surrender. French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Thursday that he and his nation will formally recognize a "Palestinian State," rewarding the murderous terrorists who still control Gaza and the West Bank. That will officially take place at the UN General Assembly, set to happen in September. Hamas was quick to take advantage, thanking Macron

It’s been 50 years — and countless conspiracy theories — since Jimmy Hoffa first disappeared, and his case remains one of the most infamous and vexing unsolved mysteries in U.S. history.
