The Democrat party’s caterwauling over illegal alien roundups becomes only more shrill by the day. Last week, California politicians were very upset that federal agents had the temerity to disrupt the workings of a marijuana farm exploiting children for its labor.
It’s always a bit jarring to see what card-carrying members of the Democrats’ premier virtue-signaling club will find worthy of their righteous indignation. Many rational observers couldn’t have guessed that Democrats would pull out all the stops to shill for “child slavery.” Of course, there was also a time when rational observers could never have guessed that Democrats would

There's a meme that resurfaces on social media from time to time. It says, "If a Democrat from the 1960s were to appear today, he'd be considered a conservative. If a Democrat from today were to be transported to the 1960s, he'd be considered a dangerous lunatic."
Truer words were never spoken. Once upon a time the Democrat party defended blue-collar workers, the poor, and the middle class. Not that long ago BJ Clinton and Hussein Obama spoke about the necessity of securing the border. And very recently a rallying cry on the Left was, "No one is above the law."
Times have changed. Quinnipiac now tells

California Gov. Gavin Newsom claimed that he did not want to bulldoze the remains of burned-down Palisades houses and replace them with low-income housing. But that is apparently exactly what he’s doing now, with the help of the California legislature—and Donald Trump’s special missions envoy is furious.
Richard Grenell accused Newsom of lying about his fire recovery goals. Newsom had scoffed, “The claim that the Governor wants to bulldoze fire victims’ neighborhoods and replace them with ‘affordable housing’ is absurd.” But he just announced over $100 million for building low-income housing in the area of the Palisades and other burned areas, as a bill moves through the California

America is in crisis, with the left battling the ascendant right, a clash of visions between a socialist nightmare in which America becomes either a feudal, feral combination of California and a communist college campus or we re-make it into something like the glorious, golden country it once was. How does all this end? Leftists in America— and the Democrats are a leftist party that is eagerly embracing admitted communists— seem to be under the impression that normal patriotic Americans have no right to engage in their own self-governance. That’s unsustainable. We’re not giving up our self-determination. The question is whether America resolves this peacefully,

The only question remaining is, has the moving finger irrevocably moved on?
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
– The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, Stanza 71, Translated by Edward FitzGerald
Numerous authors are opining on the validity or invalidity of the pardons issued under the autopen signature of the invalid who was housed in the White House for the better part of four years (when he wasn’t on the beach with his ice cream cone). Andrea Widburg has ably discussed this issue as illuminated by Biden’s interview

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday afternoon, July 16 that Coca-Cola has agreed to use real cane sugar for its soda beverages sold in the U.S.
"I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola. This will be a very good move by them — You’ll see. It’s just better!"
USA TODAY has reached out to Coca-Cola for confirmation on the president's announcement. A spokesperson for the company told Reuters the Atlanta-based company will share details on new offerings

I'm sorry, y'all.
I can't crack on this greasy, pathetic sleazeball enough.
But this post will not be dedicated to skewering oleaginous California Governor Gavin 'Randall-Flagg Lite' Newsom for being a complete slime whose propensity for lying and manipulative subterfuge gives pondscum a bad rap. (X) (As I said last week - y'all got took.)
No.
No.
This is going to be a little different approach to tweaking twitchy Twinkle Teeth.
Let's call it a lighthearted romp through the evidence of what a frickin' freakazoid he really is - if you can stand to take two seconds to watch him in action.
I mean eyeballs on the man, watch.
His mannerisms are...unsettling.

The alphabet wars are, as you might think, primarily about sexuality, sex, and sexual morality. When looked at in those terms, as many liberals do or claim to, you can see, if you squint hard enough, the point they make about just letting people live their lives in peace. At least until you start thinking about the impact that allowing men into women's spaces and reality slaps you in the face.
Most liberals only like to think about the issue as a question of tolerance. What do we care if some men want to wear dresses? In many cases, that is the limit of their thought process, akin to asking

Four hours of gaslighting and cursing.
I've watched most of Newsom's latest venture in podcast politics in a four-hour-long Shawn Ryan Show interview. It was a curse-word-filled apologia of his time as governor and how everything is great in LaLa Land.
Here are some highlights.
Gavin Newsom is in favor of gun control, but he's not. He presided over and encouraged the dumbest decriminalization of felonies, prompting massive theft rings to prey upon shop owners, causing a mass exodus of people and retail outlets, but California is one of the toughest on crime. He's not running for president, but he is.

Let's kick off this column by paraphrasing Ronald Reagan: there they go again.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has been boldly — and annoyingly — trying to make a case to Democrats to be the party's presidential nominee in 2028. Some may say it's a premature bid but, let's be honest, our presidential election cycles are practically endless now. For all intents and purposes, the 2028 primary season starts next Sunday, just after brunch.
Don't shoot the messenger.
Newsom knows that he has to get a head start because he's attempting to do something that is nigh on impossible in the current Dem electoral climate:

Many of us can recall when Barack Obama eagerly proclaimed on the eve of his election "we are five days away from transforming the United States of America" to thundering cheers of adoration back in 2008.
Very few failed to ask why America, a constitutional republic, with self-governance as its cornerstone, would need a transformation; and what would America be transformed into?
What if Barack Obama was a fraud, a communist Muslim plant ensconced into the highest echelons of our government by the U.N. and the World Economic Forum
