even being in DC is taking your life into your hands. In 1960s my brother and I rode the city bus into DC from Fairfax to see the museums a number of times, walking around on the Mall, going to the "Air and Space" which was about 5 or 6 big rockets outside and a literal Quonset hut with Wiley Post's aircraft and many artifacts inside. I remember the Wright Brothers' wind tunnel. And the red brick Smithsonian "castle" museum was great, and the Natural History Museum. Today, as an adult, I don't go back. Too dangerous. Sad that the vermin have been allowed to take over the place by the evil creeps in DC government.

#6, chances are politics did not have anything to do with this murder, more likely it was a degenerate culture that was involved.

#4, I have family in Loudoun County who’ve lived there all their lives. They no longer venture into DC even in broad daylight. We need to move the federal government to Oklahoma, build a wall around DC and let the locals have it to themselves until they’re all gone.

Bottom line: Competition works in free markets. And that's why the Protection Racket Media tried very hard to kill off their competition through tendentious 'fact checks' and cheerleading for government censorship. Even with their grip on information markets, their narrative labs have to compete -- and that led the New York Times to get a scoop over the weekend. This revelation from Semafor leads to an interesting "what if," though: The afternoon before a long holiday weekend isn’t always the best time to drop a major scoop. But the New York Times did not want to wait to publish its story about Zohran Mamdani’s application to Columbia University in 2009

n a development that should send chills down the spine of every American who still believes in the rule of law, Axios has reported a disturbing new reality inside the Democratic Party. According to the article, Democratic members of Congress are facing a tidal wave of pressure from their own base — not to legislate, not to persuade, but to abandon all pretense of civility and embrace outright violence and lawlessness in their battle against Donald Trump and his allies. Democratic lawmakers are being bombarded with demands to “fight dirty,” to disregard

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a wave of airstrikes shortly before midnight Sunday, targeting Houthi-controlled seaports in Yemen. The Israeli Air Force is using powerful bombs in its strikes dropping 56 munitions, and striking key targets including a central generator compound at the Port of As-Salif and fuel offloading infrastructure at Ras Issa. Fighter jets struck facilities in Ras Issa, Hudaydah, and As-Salif, following a rare and urgent evacuation warning issued by the IDF in Arabic earlier in the evening. According to reports from Yemen, explosions were heard in Hudaydah and Ras Issa, suggesting that Israeli warplanes hit key logistical and military assets at those locations. The IDF had warned

The tragic news out of Texas continues to get worse as the death toll from a flash flood has risen to 51, including at least 15 children. Over two dozen girls from a summer camp in the area remain unaccounted for, with the search-and-rescue effort continuing in the night. Sadly, the chances of finding more people alive diminish by the hour, and the situation is likely to become even more heartbreaking over the next few days. Having younger children myself, I simply can't fathom what the impacted families are going through. My prayers are with them, and I can continue to hope

My first thought when reading about this was, what were these violent activists planning? Why were they wearing body armor and masks? Here’s what happened: a police officer in Alvarado, Texas, responded to a report about a suspicious individual outside an ICE detention center in the late hours of the Fourth of July, according to authorities. When the officer tried to approach the suspect, an unknown number of assailants started shooting and the officer was struck in the neck. Luckily, he was treated and released by a local hospital, but the incident is nonetheless disturbing:

President Donald Trump signed the GOP’s “big, beautiful” tax and spending package at a White House ceremony on Friday, fulfilling his wish to enact the biggest domestic policy legislation of his term by July 4. Trump triumphantly signed the GOP megabill after months of hard-fought, interparty negotiations that, earlier this week, culminated in contentious House and Senate votes for the legislation. Passing the megabill is a major victory for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R., La.) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R., S.D.), who had to navigate deep political and ideological differences between different GOP factions within their chambers.

The Kerr County sheriff's office confirmed fatalities but did not provide additional details. Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly said that an unknown number of children are missing from summer camps. Donald Trump has never been one to shy away from a fight, but this time, he’s done more than just rattle the Democrats—he’s practically handed Republicans the keys to a midterm landslide in 2026. The playbook was simple, the execution flawless, and the results devastating for the opposition. Here’s what happened. When Zohran Mamdani, the antisemitic socialist, won the Democratic primary for mayor of New York City, many Democrats were less than thrilled. Last month, the Associated Press reported that his victory “exposed anew the fiery divisions plaguing the Democratic Party as it struggles to repair its brand nearly half a year into Donald Trump’s presidency.” Many progressives cheered

Naturally, these leftists, who wouldn’t recognize the Bible if it bit them, are completely wrong. The most popular version of this meme, the one with almost 6 million views, came from Devin Duke:
