Tapper and Thompson Continue Dangerous Cover-Up

Now that Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson have published Original Sin, which confirms what most Americans already knew — that former President Joe Biden was cognitively unfit to carry out the duties of his office — the corporate media are attempting to deflect attention from their complicity in a dangerous cover up. The “original sin,” according to Tapper and Thompson, was Biden’s decision to run for reelection in 2024 and the dishonesty of his aides. A far more egregious sin, however, was the cover-up of Biden’s decline by countless journalists who refused to report the truth.

Dead on. Biden’s inner circle: “He just had to win, and then he could disappear … he’d only have to show proof of life every once in a while.” (an opinion shared by FAR more Leftists) And the media shared this insane thinking and had the hubris to support it and the belief in their own destiny in accomplishing the OVERTHROW of the American People and their RIGHT to elect responsible representatives. Well, now we KNOW what the media did. We don't trust the media and we are turning away from the "news" organizations that obviously participated in this insidious and treacherous rebellion against the concept of rule by the People. We are not buying their papers and not watching their shows. They are dying financially by loss of advertising revenue from companies that can read the handwriting on the wall. And yet, the American People STILL have not grasped the full involvement of the media. Most think the media is incompetent and just blindly following their Leftist leanings. Tapper and Thompson are trying to reinforce the thinking that the Press has been misguided, need a slap on the hand, a mea culpa, and can get on with their business. Instead, the reality is that the media has become an enemy agent to America, trying to wrest control from informed voters choosing the path of the country and handing it to an elite cabal that are steering the voters through treasonous misinformation and government structure designed to ignore the law and the concerns of the American People. The media's continuing and unified role is to steer the American People away from seeing what is really going on. We the People need to realize the media is NOT trustworthy and start thinking a lot harder about what has been going on. We need to understand our government structure and how the elites have tried to subvert it. We need to have faith that our government, when FORCED to work as designed, is the best in the world and any changes should be made with the greatest of care and through law, not subversion.

Where was the real danger. Because the media tried to hide the truth or because the Democrat party and the political elected members of that party not only hid the truth, but fixed an election to put the demented old man in the White House and struggled to keep him there? What Democrat member in the Leadership of the Congress deserves to be in the Congress. They all knew that Biden was President in name only., and now some of them have the balls, the temerity to question Donald Trumps cognitive ability. Then we have Chuck Schumer admitting that they used their influence to appoint these District Judges to fight and disrupt the Presidency of the person Republicans elected LEGALLY. These people need to be removed from Congress immediately.

When you’re part of the DC elite the rewards are endless. Nerds by nature, the elites in DC suddenly have access to elegant parties with haute fashion and Hollywood A-listers, owner’s boxes at major league games, private jet travel, exceedingly large salaries and fame. For Tapper to give all that up and tell the truth? He is a coward.

Tapper and Co. are a bunch of self-serving hypocrites. They all need to be hauled before Congress and/or a grand jury (not in DC though) and questioned about who knew what when, who in their corporate news companies decided to cover for Biden, etc. They are just as responsible for lying to the American People as the Biden Admin and family are responsible. And to use the autopen to sign pardons, Executive Orders, etc. knowing Biden was out of it is beyond criminal.

This says it all. They are all in the same club with the same interests, America and Americans be damned. ..."High profile journalists have degrees from the same elite universities, live in the same neighborhoods, send their children to the same schools, eat at the same restaurants and attend the same social events as the politicians they cover. These journalists and politicians, for all intents and purposes, belong to an exclusive club whose members have never met an actual MAGA voter, except perhaps when they had to call a plumber or electrician."

Although I'm in full agreement that the Biden cover-up was worse than Watergate and other scandals, I'm sorry to report that the left wouldn't have acted so brazenly unless they were SURE that the whole disgusting, orchestrated charade will go nowhere. What will happen unfortunately is that all of the authors and media who saw the cognitive decline with their own eyes will claim "ALL old people have brain farts" or "Most old people need lots of sleep" and they'll move on with their lives with a shoulder shrug. "I thought about it but then I'm not an expert in the field". Dr Jill and family will claim that they "thought" they were being supportive by protecting Old Joe and will offer to check in to some mental health facility so the Biden's can give a lengthy interview explaining that they can now understand why some people saw a cover-up while they only saw love and support. And, oh, that enabling. Everyone will be forgiven and 50% of the public plus 99% of the media will carry on about the spiritual strength of the amazing Bidens. And once again, the Pubbies--- WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNRELENTING in their pursuit of WHO was running the country and whether or not Biden's EOs and pardons were even legally valid--- just crumble in the corner where they whine about the unfairness of it all...leaving Biden to shuffle off to the horizon as a maligned hero.

It may seem a bit early to start gaming the 2026 midterm elections, but not for Senate races -- and perhaps especially in Texas, where even a deep-red electorate has its issues with its own incumbents. John Cornyn recently tried to move up the Senate Republican leadership ladder after the retirement of Mitch McConnell, eventually losing to John Thune for Majority Leader. That may not be Cornyn's last loss, according to a new poll out from UpOne Insights and GOP pollster Robert Blizzard. In light of the fresh revelations stemming from the release of the new exposé on Joe Biden, "Original Sin," as well as the recent announcement that the former president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer, questions are being raised about what those closest to him may have known and if so, when they knew it.Among those in the hot seat is Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who was Biden's White House physician and who was also referenced in the book as having a discussion with aides about the possibility that Biden would need to use a wheelchair in his last year and a half in office if he suffered another fall.

A growing number of Democrats are arguing that members of their party need to reconsider their use of certain left-wing words and phrases if they want to better connect with voters they lost in the 2024 election cycle, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday. Some members of the Democratic Party are raising concerns that many of their candidates have become too reliant on using elite-sounding phrases, which they claim is a type of language that could isolate working-class voters, according to the Washington Post. The article cites examples of left-wing words and phrases often used by Democrats, such as “oligarchs,” “equity,” “justice-involved populations” and “intersectionality.”

It’s taken a while, but Democrats are finally confronting the empirical reality of their second loss to Trump. The evidence is impossible to ignore. For example, recent analysis of county-level voting trends in the past three elections by Shane Goldmacher in The New York Times shows that Trump improved his standing in “1,433 of the nation's 3,100+ counties, even as he lost in 2020. Democrats have expanded their vote share continuously in only 57 counties.” Likewise, TLP’s own analysis of the gold-star Catalist data from 2024 shows how the party lost significant ground with major demographic groups from 2012 to 2024, including: black voters (22-point decline), Latinos (27-point decline), working-class

Like a lot of Democrats these days, Chris Murphy has been doing some soul searching. For years, the Connecticut Senator, who took office shortly after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, was one of the nation’s most outspoken advocates for tighter gun laws. Gun safety was so important, he argued, that supporting an assault-weapons ban should be mandatory for Democratic leaders. Recently, Murphy has come to believe he was wrong. Not about tougher gun laws, but about trying to force all Democrats to adopt his position. “I bear some responsibility for where we are today,” he told me in a phone interview in April.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is angling to be the Democratic presidential nominee in 2028 by trying to appeal to voters outside his progressive base. But he's not fooling anyone. Newsom, for example, has proposed limiting health care coverage for migrants who entered the country illegally. He's told local leaders in California to clear homeless encampments, which are a bane for urban dwellers from San Francisco to San Diego. And he's even engaged on his podcast in thoughtful, cordial conversations with conservatives like Charlie Kirk, cofounder of Turning Point USA.

President Trump’s return to the White House and his populist agenda constitute an existential threat to a Democratic Party so unpopular with its own voters that it is in danger of going the way of the Whigs. Several recent polls have revealed that only about 1 in 3 Democrats are optimistic about the future of their party. In response to this crisis, their leaders have reverted to their longstanding tradition of inciting political violence. James Comey claims he is “nonaligned” politically, yet his now notorious “8647” Instagram post was all too typical of Democrat calls for the President’s assassination.

I realize we increasingly have become a society that embraces a “my way or the highway” attitude. Both sides are guilty of that way of thinking. Yet, it seems especially egregious from those on the left. Progressives’ lack of tolerance for other views has presented itself in different iterations, from the cancel culture phenomenon to angry demonstrations on college campuses when a conservative dares to speak. So perhaps it's not surprising that liberals love slapping labels on those who have the audacity to believe something different from progressive dogma. Nazi. Hitler. Bigot. Hater. To name a few.
