The net-zero zealots want to force a worldwide renewable energy transition. But they don’t always get their way. Their fanciful projects have been blocked more than 1,000 times globally. In a world seemingly gone mad, this is welcome news.
“The total number of alt-energy rejections or restrictions now exceeds 1,000 — it’s 1,011 to be exact,” says energy author Robert Bryce, who operates a database that shows 814 U.S rejections of solar, wind and battery projects. Add those to others across the world and the total exceeds a grand.
“The rejections keep coming,” says Bryce. “Since the beginning of May,

Happy to see rejection of these utterly stupid sources of energy, and it needs to continue to where there is 100% rejection rate.
The supposed need for alternate energy sources arose from the lie of Global Warming. All of this actually exposed the climate activists as patent liars who obviously don't give one whit about the environment since these alternate sources of energy are anything but friendly to the climate.
The entire subject continues to expose the liars in the Enemedia who couldn't turn down a commie ploy if their lives depended on it.
But probably the most heinous group are the World leaders and their globalist masters pushing all this tripe since it appears all they want to do is decimate the World Population. What a bunch of ghouls.

If economics and market forces support Green Energy projects and products well and good. And perhaps in the future they will. But forcing it down people’s throats for political convenience is simply not acceptable.

The price tag for renewable energy outweighs the value of renewable energy itself. The problem is economics.

That's what happens when a peninsula with an area of approximately 583,254 square kilometers, and a population of roughly 55 million (the second-largest European peninsula by area) goes dark in the largest failed experiment of renewable energy in history. Just sayin'.

I have no doubt that sometime in the future renewables will make sense. That time is not now. Windmills stationed in the ocean and solar panels on skyscrapers will not power NYC. The technology is not there yet. We know all the problems that RV present with their 1000 pound toxic batteries. Trial, error, success, revisions will probably take decades. Until then fossil fuels and other sources available are the choice until that Star Trek times arrives. If taxpayer money is needed for the energy to appear "affordable" then it is NOT affordable. Keep working but in the meantime drill baby drill.

FTA - "These eyesores are threats to human health, as well. “Wind turbine syndrome,”... And as they watch the eco-crusade unfold, more and more will realize that the renewables campaign is a watermelon – green on the outside, but socialist red on the inside."
That realization hasn't sunk in yet out west. Wind turbines are being installed like wallpaper. In my neck of the woods, the Peoples Republic of Colorado sure didn't get the memo.

Good news. The worm is turning. But the damned subsidies are still out there, paying taxpayer money for erratic, ultra expensive power scams that blight the countryside.

Re #6, I have huge doubts that this baloney will ever compete with real energy sources. Don't be fooled.

Climate change/AGW is a cult like snake handling churches. The greenies can't give it up, or it would destroy any self-confidence they have, so they persist in their attempts to force it on the world. That said, solar has its uses. My dock has a solar-powered fish feeder that works fine. Also, good for small applications like outside lights etc. We are still years away from the technology that will make it practical for large scale power demands yet the "preachers" don't want to give up the pulpit and government keeps shoveling money to "renewables". Renewables in the sense that they keep renewing wasteful grants and tossing money up a wild boar's ***.

I agree with Rush Limbaugh: Earth's temperatures are increasing slightly, but only at a rate identical to that of the planet Mercury, after factoring in Mercury's closer proximity to the sun. If the sun is going through a hotter phase, all planets are subject to a degree of increased temperatures. It's folly to suppose that Earth's increasing temperatures are the result of atmospheric carbon dioxide, or that reversion to an agrarian, pre-industrial economy will lower Earth's temperature. Scientific analysis of ancient tree rings and Arctic ice drill cores reflects varying periods of global warming and global cooling over the last thousand years.

There has never been a complete AND honest accounting of "green" energy costs, end to end, versus our traditional forms of energy production. If someone would compiled ALL costs "back to dirt," and illustrate graphically the processes/risks/costs associated with each, it would become obvious to a pinhead that the only thing "green" about so-called renewable energy is simply the color of the dollars paying premium price for a non-competitive technology.

If you are a landowner and have a personal windmill or a couple of solar panels, great, take advantage of what nature has to offer. Holland has used wind power for decades to move water and ships have used it for many centuries. On a mass scale, green power is just a fantasy.

The first sentence should read "The globalist elites want to force worldwide dependence on energy that they will control, but the world fought back."

They're all the same charlatans poster #11. No one knows what the climate is going to do, but mankind sure isn't affecting it so much as to change it.
But the know-it-alls want everyone to "believe" at their altar of Human Induced Climate Change/Disruption blah, blah, blah, that mankind is adversely affecting the climate. It's absolute hogwash.

Every member of the Trump Admin, CEO of an energy company, etc when on a national news show or talk radio needs to keep repeating that US energy resources (natural gas, shale, coal, oil, geothermal, etc) is removed from the earth in the safest manner ever in the history of the world. We produce and refine our own natural energy sources with the most respect for environmental controls, worker safety, etc - unlike Russia, Venezuela, Iran, etc.

The headline should read, “The World Rejects UNRELIABLE and OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE Energy.” As early as 40 years ago we were told that in 10 years time we would be extinct if we didn’t end climate change. In those 40 years promoters of climate change have flown fleets of private jets to world conferences on climate change to preach to us that we need to restrict our use of fossil fuels. It is hard to believe them when you consider the fossil fuel consumed by the fleet of private jets flying them to and from these gatherings.
