A federal appeals court on Thursday granted the Trump administration’s request to temporarily pause a lower-court ruling that struck down most of President Donald Trump’s tariffs. The Trump administration had earlier told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit that it would seek “emergency relief” from the Supreme Court as soon as Friday if the tariff ruling was not quickly put on pause. The judgment issued Wednesday night by the U.S. Court of International Trade is “temporarily stayed until further notice while this court considers the motions papers,” the appeals court said in its order.

Lincoln said " A house divided against itself cannot stand." I never had much use for Lincoln and his sins against the Constitution, but he was right. Now: The democrats do not appear to me like they really care whether this county ca stand or not----if they are not running it. Filing us with illegals, people we know nothing about. Filling our colleges with foreigners, Political Lawfare, destroying the election system, Lying, using fantasy against a sitting President like the Russian hoax, and now inciting violence . These Judges have to be informed that their never-Trump BS has to stop.

President Donald Trump has announced that his administration is looking to upgrade U.S. fighter jets by creating a F-55 model. Trump said in Qatar on Thursday that there will be a "simple upgrade" to the F-35, but that he also wanted to go further by developing an entirely new model. The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, commonly referred to as the F-35, is a cornerstone of the U.S. Air Force, and has been used in missions across the world. (snip) Commenting on the development of a F-55 fighter jet, he said: "That's going to be a substantial upgrade, but it's going to be also with two engines..."

All the years of following the networks, rulings, relationships and details is starting to surface as important. The notoriously corrupt DC Judge James Boasberg is now in the big ugly spotlight. President Trump calls for Judge Boasberg to be impeached. Supreme Court Justice John Roberts immediately jumps into action to defend his friend and colleague. Have you ever seen Justice Roberts respond so quickly? The reason is the relationship between him and Boasberg. (snip) John Roberts appointed Boasberg to be presiding judge of the FISA court after Judge Rosemary Collyer’s term was over.

The Trump Team fooled everybody, including me. As last week’s various lawsuits sprouted restraining orders like early buds emerging all over the willow trees in springtime, most commenters expected Trump to take a necessary pause for defensive retrenchment. Surely, we all thought, it would take Trump’s anti-bureaucrats some time to clear the judicial logjam. But all of us were wrong. A brief pause to clear past the TROs wasn’t Trump’s strategy at all. No pauses! Instead, yesterday Trump tripled down, jamming the battle tank’s accelerator into overdrive and smashing ahead in a whole different direction.

The Silicon Valley immigration priority was not the topic I thought would explode and fracture the tenuous MAGA alignment with the New Big Tech group represented by Elon Musk and his billionaire network. However, we learn more every day. This is a jaw-dropping moment to watch unfold as a very influential sector of the political discourse begins a full-frontal attack against those who are pointing out how the tech community abuse H1B visas to replace American workers. In the background, of course, is the context of widespread immigration policy fraud being one of the priorities for the average Trump supporter.

Glenn Greenwald appears for an interview with Tucker Carlson on the topic of the Biden administration directly making a decision as they exit the White House to attack Russia and provoke a direct war between U.S-led NATO and Russia. Greenwald notes the accurate context of the recent decision to provide, launch, target and direct ATACMS missiles to hit targets inside Russia. This is not the U.S. providing Ukraine with weapons for use. This is the USA using the auspices of Ukraine geography to launch missiles into Russia that can only be launched, directed and targeted by U.S-NATO members.

Well, well, well… isn’t this interesting. In a court filing today, one of the co-defendants in the Fulton County election case against President Trump is presenting very specific details of an intimate relationship between District Attorney Fani Willis and the Special Prosecutor she hired, Nathan Wade. At first review, if the allegations are true, DA Willis had a financial motivation to initiate the case against Trump, as her boyfriend was the primary financial beneficiary. The filing documents how Fani Willis and Nathan Wade took several extravagant vacations and indulged in an exclusive lifestyle as the result of payments Willis’s office made to Wade.

"The collapse of the US southern border is the result of a carefully planned and deliberately executed industrial mass migration program," Muckraker said.

Three main points before getting to the substance.(snip)As long as President Trump appeals the decision to the Supreme Court, the appeals court stays their own ruling – essentially indefinitely. The Colorado primary ballots printed, and the primary election will be over, before the Supreme Court puts this on their docket. In addition to the virtual guarantee the high court will overrule this political nonsense, SCOTUS can make the entire issue moot before them by following their own normal schedule for submissions, arguments, deliberation and opinions delivered by the court.

When Bill Watterson walked away from Calvin and Hobbes in 1995, he was exhausted. The comic strip had consumed ten years of his life, the latter half of which were spent fighting his syndicate for creative control and warring with himself as he fitfully came to realize that he had nothing left to say about a six-year-old boy and his stuffed tiger. And the decision couldn’t have come at a worse time: Calvin and Hobbes was at the height of its popularity. To quit then seemed like career suicide. It was suicide, the intentional, ritualistic sort.

Several adults threw punches at each other in the hallway of West Memphis’ Faulk Elementary on Wednesday as the frightened screams of nearby children filled the crowded corridor. Multiple men and women were in the center of the melee, plowing through the school as other parents rushed to get their children away from the danger, according to video obtained by WREG. HARTFORD, CT- Once again, Connecticut Democrats have come down on the wrong side of an 80/20 issue. Last week, the House Democratic majority advanced legislation that will force municipalities to abide by the state’s so-called “Trust Act,” which permits “any aggrieved person” to seek an injunction against a municipality or its agents, including police and school employees, that cooperate with federal immigration officials, the CT Mirror reports. The bill was revised after pro-illegal alien advocates argued that municipalities, i.e., police departments, can ignore the state law already in place that defines when police and others can alert federal agents to the location of

WASHINGTON — A federal court on Wednesday blocked President Donald Trump from imposing sweeping tariffs on imports under an emergency-powers law, swiftly throwing into doubt Trump’s signature set of economic policies that have rattled global financial markets, frustrated trade partners and raised broader fears about inflation intensifying and the economy slumping. The ruling from a three-judge panel at the New York-based U.S. Court of International Trade came after several lawsuits arguing Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs exceeded his authority and left the country’s trade policy dependent on his whims. Trump has repeatedly said the tariffs would force manufacturers to bring back factory jobs to the U.S.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz pledged Wednesday to help Ukraine develop its own long-range missile systems that would be free of any Western-imposed limitations on their use and targets as the Kyiv government fights to repel Russia’s invasion. Some of the advanced weapon systems that allies have supplied to Ukraine during the 3-year war were subject to range and target restrictions — a fraught political issue stemming from fears that if the weapons struck deep inside Russia, the Kremlin might retaliate against the country that provided them and draw NATO into Europe’s biggest conflict since World War II.

This week, we saw a spate of news stories blaming Democrats’ troubles on their vocabulary. They’re just using too many darn multisyllabic, academic-sounding words and turning off numbskull voters, is the basic message. Seriously? The Democrats’ problem isn’t linguistic, it’s ideological. But no one in the party wants to admit that. A Washington Post story this week – “Democratic troubles revive debate over left-wing buzzwords” – begins by saying: Maybe it’s using the word ‘oligarchs’ instead of rich people. Or referring to ‘people experiencing food insecurity’ rather than Americans going hungry. Or ‘equity’ in place of ‘equality,’ or ‘justice-involved populations’ instead of prisoners.
