Three main points before getting to the substance.(snip)As long as President Trump appeals the decision to the Supreme Court, the appeals court stays their own ruling – essentially indefinitely. The Colorado primary ballots printed, and the primary election will be over, before the Supreme Court puts this on their docket. In addition to the virtual guarantee the high court will overrule this political nonsense, SCOTUS can make the entire issue moot before them by following their own normal schedule for submissions, arguments, deliberation and opinions delivered by the court.

My state's lefty judicial and government in general continues to disgust me. Unfortunately, these are the outcomes that the Peoples Republic of Denver keep pushing for. The left markets itself evil better than the right markets its God-given values. We must press on and beat this evil...for good.

FTA: “ I pledge to *withdraw* from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately – or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country.” This is the correct response. Trying to exploit this breach of duty coup like desantis is the wrong approach.

The Judges were too cowardly to sign their own opinion. They also seem so sure that it will be overturned that it will not be effective and will be essentially suspended indefinitely. The political motivations of this ruling have nothing to do with any law or the Constitution. It is just blatant partisan lawfare.

How does this represent the people of Colorado? How many registered Republicans wanted Trump removed from their primary ballot? Most likely a very small minority. So, the Colorado Supreme Court ignores the wishes of the majority in favor of a minority. BS! The Colorado Republican Party should cancel their primary if this ruling stands.

These judges are making a mockery of the judicial system and beclowning themselves in the process. Based on their ruling that the decision will be stayed if there is a US SC appeal this looks more like a prank than a serious process. How dare they play with the SC’s time like this.

Which only serves to highlight that to liberal judges, their own opinions always, always, always, supersede the actual law itself. Just make up a ruling to suit your political goals, the law be damned, because your liberal electorate chose you for that specific task. As unelected officials, their partners in crime are also using the same flawed logic to rewrite the US Constitution...the public be damned.

Just to reiterate, the CO SC ruling removing Trump from the ballot goes nowhere. It has no teeth because it's not enforced. The court knows the ruling is on VERY shaky Constitutional ground as it is. IOW, why would the CO SC stay its own ruling? And it will stay indefinitely on the assumption that Trump will appeal (which he will) NLT 4 Jan. When the appeal goes before the USSC they will shoot it down. At that point it doesn't really matter because Trump will be on the CO primary ballot anyway. All of this is just plain lawfare smoke and mirrors. As Sundance puts it: "Lawfare is a construct for media consumption intended to manipulate public opinion."

Right #8. The court decided to keep Donald Trump off the ballot for participating in an insurrection when, by definition, there wasn’t an insurrection; nor was he even charged with that, let alone convicted. By the same token, attorneys in every state should be able to challenge Biden’s name appearing on the primary ballot simply based on all the evidence piling up for treason, bribery, and corruption whether he has been convicted of those things or not.

When Bill Watterson walked away from Calvin and Hobbes in 1995, he was exhausted. The comic strip had consumed ten years of his life, the latter half of which were spent fighting his syndicate for creative control and warring with himself as he fitfully came to realize that he had nothing left to say about a six-year-old boy and his stuffed tiger. And the decision couldn’t have come at a worse time: Calvin and Hobbes was at the height of its popularity. To quit then seemed like career suicide. It was suicide, the intentional, ritualistic sort.
