Attorney General Pam Bondi said Tuesday that authorities have made one of the biggest fentanyl busts in U.S. history with the seizure of 11.5 kilos of the drug, including 3 million pills.
Bondi said that around 35 kilos of methamphetamine, 35 kilos of meth, 7.5 kilos of cocaine and 4.5 kilos of heroin were also seized along with $5 million in cash and 49 rifles and pistols.
Sixteen people including three women, were arrested in the operation. Six of the males are in the U.S. illegally, Bondi said.
The leader of the group, Alberto Salazar Amaya, is a high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel, who was living in Salem, Oregon,

" Six of the males are in the U.S. illegally"
Time for the Democrats to board a plane and find a way to get them back in the U.S.

That's a fair bit of the good stuff. But the $5 million cash and guns, holy crap. Where was this bounty going to go? Sleeper cells up this way somewhere? I would water board those arrested to learn more about their plan.

Don't send them to jail, that is too good.
How about giving these people a choice: let them take a vast amount of their own drugs ( that will kill them) or let them rot in jail with no chance of parole.

Maybe Attorney General Bondi now has time to clear her desk on other matters of interest? On Feb 27, 2025 she insisted Federal investigators had withheld 1000s of Epstein documents and wanted them released by the coming Friday, Feb 28th.
That's been a good many weeks Ms Bondi, "Where's the beef?"

And where are the Epstein files? Still on Bondi's desk?

There goes what little laundered income the Biden clan had left.
#s 5 and 6, be patient. While I would also like to see Epstein’s clients being hauled off to prison, doing something about the OD deaths of 100,000 Americans each year from fentanyl, etc, is more important.

Saving people's lives is a bit more important than curiousity over Epstein's lists. IMHO. We already know most of the perverts on them anyway.

Moments before each of three spinal fusion operations at Morton Plant Hospital (up on the bluff in Clearwater), I asked the anesthesiologist what he was going to sedate me with. Each time I was told "fentanyl." So the drug has important medical uses. Each time, the surgery went well. The surgeon and the anesthesiologist, both MDs (of course), knew what they were doing. That's the only proper way to use it.
Today, any illegal white powdered drug from the street might be "strengthened" with fentanyl. A fentanyl dosage equivalent to three grains of salt would be fatal to most. When he vapor-locked, "Saint" George Floyd had a triple fatal dosage of fentanyl inside his body, as well as heart disease. All should wish the Administration well in their dealings with the Chicoms, who are mostly responsible for this scourge. The Mexican cartels are merely the middlemen. Cut off the poison at its source. Then the middlemen don't matter anymore.
Pet peeve: Hannity, and others, pronounce it, incorrectly, fen-ten-AWL. That should be fen-ten-ILL.

That's 909 pounds, give or take, from one domestic bust inside the US. The total amount of fentanyl seized by US Customs and Border Protection at our southern border in FY 2024 was 21,148 pounds, most of it at legal border crossings. So this was a major haul.
Meanwhile, the total amount of fentanyl intercepted by US Customs crossing into the US through our northern border with Canada in FY 2024 was 43 pounds. (And most of that was apparently seized outside of the legal border crossings---i.e. some schmuck snowshoeing it through the forest)
A renewed sense of scale and proportion would seem to be in order.

#11: Don't be misled by the *reported* figures re fentanyl and Canada. First, there's little to no inspection at border crossings, and plenty gets through the undefended border illegally at locations other than the border crossings. Second, the RCMP made a bust recently in a newly built pill manufacturing facility in BC where fentanyl pills were being made. 95 million doses were seized -- enough to kill every Canadian twice over with plenty of excess to kill Americans. And import laws in Canada are so lax that fentanyl precursors come into the port of Vancouver *legally*... Reality is that Canada is an emerging narco-state, and it's undergoing upscaling as we speak. I'm pretty sure PDJT is aware of this, and that's why there are punitive tariffs on Canada right now.
