A double down on DEI had the NFL previewing end zone slogans ahead of President Donald Trump’s unprecedented attendance that had one columnist crying foul.
“Trump soils everything.”
Sunday, tens of millions of people from around the world are expected to tune in to see if the Kansas City Chiefs will achieve a Super Bowl three-peat or if the Philadelphia Eagles will achieve their second championship. At the same time, those viewers will be made subject to a slew of woke content in contrast to the president’s attendance as league Commissioner Roger Goodell argued, “It does make the NFL better.”

Trump Derangement Syndrome like Liberalism in general is truly a mental illness! If an asteroid hit the earth, these boneheads would blame President Trump! I am sick of these SoBs and will do all I can to distance myself from them and anything they stand for!

Blacks are about 13% of the population, yet 53% of NFL players are black. How about ending racism in the NFL first?

Instead of "Stop Racism" they CHOSE to use one of the other trite feelgood sayings regularly used by various teams in their other various end zones...This time they chose "Chose Love", while the writer in question has instead Chosen HATE, for Trump, all of his supporters, followers, voters...and for Football it's self. Which he admits is not something he has ever been a big fan of anyway, though he usually attends a super bowl party at someone else's house, or a bar to watch it, "Socially"

That is a very nasty thing to ever have posted in the end zone. It's a football game, no a political rally.

Where is the DEI in the NFL. Where are the women on NFL teams, where are hispanics, midgets and asians? That’s not diversity. Where is the equity? Why aren’t the Jets or Giants in the Super Bowl ? It’s all BS Goodell.

"Rev." Goodell has delivered his sermon. Hope the King of the Mountain won't have to borrow a horse to ride out of town. Goodell, "rich as Croesus," starts crying po' about this time every year. Besides, billionaires just look petty when they sloganeer by pimping out the end zones. Did he hurt his arm patting himself on the back?

Goodell knows that football (in economic terms) is an inelastic product. People will want it, no matter what.
All the threats of not watching or attending NFL games until they reject wokeness have pretty much fizzled out.
He can have his cake and eat it too.

Between greedy owners, extorting cities for stadiums, players kneeling because they are "oppressed" the race, LGBTQ lecturing us, I quit watching NFL 7 yrs ago and haven't missed a thing. The NFL can kiss both sides of my pearly white azz.

We're quite tired of being lectured by these moral busybodies who like to accuse others of being racists. The biggest racists are the ones who lecture us about what they themselves are guilty of.

END RACISM, CHOOSE LOVE, or any other silly statement has no place in the end zone. Grass, a team nam name, some stripes, and maybe a mascot picture belong there along with the scoring players. I never pay any attention to the PC BS on the field as it is an annoying distraction.

I have an idea, why not replace it with the old BLM graffiti in big block letters and kneel for the national anthem? Without Corona and Avocados, I won't be watching the circus anyway, so display what makes you feel good.

Haven't seen a football game and/or a superbowl in years. I don't know how I've managed all these years, but I'm going to attempt to survive again this year, along with a bunch of like minded friends.

Does the NFL support hiring more Chinese, and White players because the sport has too many blacks?
Do you want your team to be made up of DEI players or do you want the very best team possible. This is a sport not a feel good session.

I have a different candidate in mind for the "most divisive President in American history," Mr. Freeman.
It's amazing how many sportswriters and sportscasters are liberal bed-wetters.

#18, the slogan sounds like something they would put on a postage stamp.
(Do they still make these? I still have a collection of "Forever" stamps from the last century to use up.)
