Actor Mel Gibson and podcaster Joe Rogan ripped into California Governor Gavin Newsom for being unprepared to handle the wildfires tearing through Los Angeles. “The Patriot” actor, 69, appeared on the “Joe Rogan Experience” Thursday, and the two were quick to point out that the Golden State spent billions of taxpayers’ money on homelessness but claimed the state spent “zip” on measures that could have helped prevent the wildfires. “We were just talking about the wildfire situation and how crazy it is that they spent $24 billion dollars last year on the homeless, and what did they spend on preventing these wildfires?” Rogan, 57, asked.

Fired fire fighters over the vaccine. Slashed the fire fighting budget. Shipped surplus equipment to Ukraine. Dumped surplus water into the ocean. CA liberalism.

Hamas has given me an idea to describe Newsom's policies " From the Russian River to the Sea". in honor of not having the river water partially diverted to help Southern California. Newsom is seeing his presidential campaign go up in flames.

How many people in LA will decide to change their voting habits? I remain skeptical that more than a small number will change who they vote for.

Insurance Industry Claps Back at Kamala's
Wildfire Claims—'False, Wrong and Dangerous'

Vice President Kamala Harris took aim at insurance companies during a press conference Thursday regarding the tragic, overwhelming wildfires in the Los Angeles region that broke out Tuesday, killing at least 10, destroying thousands of structures and displacing tens of thousands from their homes. The implication from her statement is that some companies abandoned their obligations and canceled policies even as the devastation was unfolding. Spokesfolks for the insurance industry are clapping back at the VP, though, and telling her that she’s ill-informed and is spreading misinformation:

That Climate Change Caused the California Wildfires

The moment any kind of natural disaster happens, Democrats immediately begin screaming about climate change. Of all the boogiemen the left has in their closet of scary monsters, "climate change" is arguably their most successful as it's allowed the left to use it as a way to frighten people into voting for them, and allowed them to manipulated billions and billions of dollars to their liking. With the California wildfires raging around LA, you can bet the Democrats immediately pointed to climate change as the culprit. Is it? Did the fires start because of the prophesied coming of mother nature's retribution for humanity's hubris and abuse of the planet?

Former President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump had what appeared to be a warm conversation Thursday ahead of former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral, but a professional lip reader told The Post their smiles and laughter belied more serious substance. Trump, 78, possibly wary of cameras facing the pair as they sat shoulder to shoulder, cautioned Obama, 63, that they would have to “find a quiet place” later in the day to discuss a “matter of importance,” according to forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman. It’s unclear what precisely that conversation would entail, but Freeman’s translation indicated that Obama and Trump may have been discussing international agreements.

"[M]edia freedoms" have never existed under the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. For many years, the two parties have been imposing restrictions on Palestinian journalists, including a ban on criticizing PA and Hamas leaders. Palestinian journalists and activists who dared to speak out against the PA or Hamas found themselves incarcerated, and sometimes dead. The silence of the international community and the so-called "pro-Palestinian" activists on the university campuses in the US and across the West has only encouraged the PA to dismiss launching an investigation into the killing of al-Sabbagh.

President-elect Donald Trump blamed California’s Gavin Newsom for the ‘apocalyptic’ wildfires ravaging the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles — claiming he chose to save an extinct tiny fish species, instead of sending more water to southern California. Trump raged that the Democratic governor blocked an order that would have diverted more water from the much wetter north to the state’s parched regions “including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way.”

President-elect Donald J. Trump has warned that unless the hostages being held by Hamas are released by January 20, the day of his inauguration, "all hell will break out." Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, is already in Doha, Qatar, negotiating. Not very astonishingly, the negotiations keep breaking down.... The question arises: why is Witkoff in Qatar negotiating? Negotiating for what? How many dead hostages for how many live Palestinian terrorists now in Israeli prisons? Why is Trump's statement, "there will be all hell to pay," not, by itself, the negotiation? It seems that all Witkoff would need to do is detail every name, alive or dead;

What some see as a shot across the bow aimed at President-elect Donald Trump, Pope Francis announced Monday that left-wing Cardinal Robert McElroy of the Diocese of San Diego would be the next archbishop of Washington. McElroy, 70, will succeed the retiring archbishop, Cardinal Wilton Gregory, 77, who shepherded the more than 600,000 Catholics who live in the nation’s capital region. Gregory has not been afraid to oppose abortion in the public square, but angered some Catholics with his restriction on the traditional Latin Mass.

Some Big Apple motorists were recently spotted with license plates subtly obscured using ultra-low-tech methods — which could potentially be used to evade New York’s wildly unpopular congestion toll that just went into effect. The Post spotted a variety of these sneaky, DIY tactics in action — often deployed on newer or high-end vehicles — reminiscent of the ongoing “ghost plates” problem that costs the city hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

Two of Donald Trump’s former co-defendants, Waltine Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira, are asking the court to halt Special Counsel Jack Smith from releasing a "Final Report" tied to the dismissed Florida prosecution. In an emergency motion filed in the Southern District of Florida on Monday, the two argue that the report, if released, would violate court orders, infringe on their constitutional rights, and prejudice any potential future proceedings against them. The Case Against the Report Nauta and De Oliveira claim that Smith, whose appointment as Special Counsel was ruled unconstitutional by the court, lacks the authority to issue a report under federal regulations.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who will now be forever known as the weirdo who ran with Kamala Harris in 2024 and failed, is now endorsing gun control activist David Hogg in his bid to be vice chair of the Democratic National Committee. The 2024 election showed that Democrats have a serious problem with men, who are fleeing their party in droves. It’s not clear how having David Hogg in a leadership position would do anything to help fix this problem for them. None of that seems to matter to Walz, who believes Hogg will provide the ‘courageous leadership our party needs right now.’

She came back from that meeting, hugged her staff goodbye and left. She said she was fired,’ the source said. The alleged booting follows Crowley lashing out against the Mayor’s cuts to her department, in an interview with a local Fox TV station around 12pm Friday. ‘My message is the fire department needs to be properly funded,’ the Chief said. ‘It’s not.’ ‘Did they fail you?’ Fox LA’s Gigi Graciette asked. ‘Yes,’ Crowley replied.

I was surprised, if not shocked, when two A-list celebrities, country singers Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood, took the microphones at the State Funeral for Jimmy Carter yesterday and began performing “Imagine,” written by former Beatle John Lennon in 1971. The song is widely described as an “atheistic anthem” and incredibly is said to be one of the late 39th president’s favorite songs. "Imagine there’s no heaven It’s easy if you try. No hell below us Above us, only sky. . . Imagine all the people Livin’ for today Ah Imagine there’s no countries It isn’t hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too" To me, it sounds like a globalist woke anthem
