Indiana University (IU) is teaching students that they are inherently "oppressors" because of their race, sex and religion, documents show. According to the school’s website, the course "Understanding Diversity in a Pluralistic Society" prompts students to examine "theories and models" in order to "enhance understanding of our diverse society."The course "provides content about differences and similarities in the experiences, needs, and beliefs of selected minority groups and their relation to the majority group."

This is pure nonsense, of course. During any given era in history, most countries of the world have been oppressors when they had the riches, technology and the military strength to do it. Britain, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Rome, Persia, Babylonia, and let's not forget the Huns and the followers of Mohammed everywhere. All of them thought at one time or another that they should rule the world and some still do. Diversity is nothing but feel-good psychological garbage invented by American academia and has failed miserably during its relatively short period of existence.

People are inherently "bad" because of our sin nature, inherited at birth from the first man, Adam. The Bible (always) puts it best: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)

FTA: "...they are inherently "oppressors" because of their race, sex and religion,..." So they are INHERENTLY oppressors because of: a nebulous term that can't be defined or quantified an inherent trait whose behaviors are very much subject to societal pressures a belief system that is very open proselytization. This is why I decided not to go back to college on retirement. I am no longer in awe of people with letters after their names.

The late, great Andrew Breitbart was one of the most quotable conservatives of his era. "Walk toward the fire," he exhorted his fellow activists. "Don't worry about what they call you. All those things are said against you because they want to stop you in your tracks." It was good advice when Breitbart said it during the contentious Barack Obama years, and it's even better advice during the era of hyper-woke dogma today. But if Breitbart the man is singularly identified with any one line, it would undoubtedly be his well-known quip that "politics is downstream of culture." Indeed, this pithy formulation became known as the "Breitbart Doctrine."

Over the last decade, America’s ruling class has used the threat of “mis-, dis-, and mal-information” to justify turning the awesome powers of the administrative state against domestic Wrongthinkers from elite orthodoxy. The most insidious and far-reaching manifestation of this phenomenon has been seen in the Censorship-Industrial Complex, which has eroded our First Amendment, thereby imperiling the republic itself. Alarmingly, a new report indicates that the Supreme Court — which refused to bring the censorship regime to justice — not only shares this regime’s concerns about “disinformation,” but likewise supports robust and widespread action to “combat” it. The report comes from Chief Justice John Roberts himself.

Elon Musk took yet another jab at Justin Trudeau after the disgraced Canadian Prime Minister tried to take a final stand against President-elect Donald Trump's rhetoric suggesting the United States could absorb the Great White North. Last month, Trump kicked off the entire controversy when he slammed Trudeau for bristling at his potential tariff threat to persuade northern leaders to tighten border security. Trump joked, "If Canada can't survive without ripping off the US to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state, and Trudeau could become its governor." Since that point, the 47th President has consistently chided Trudeau on social media.

It’s the year of our Lord 2025, which means we can leave the Constitution-threatening chaos of 2024 behind, right? Wrong! Unless something is done to curb the democracy-destroying behavior of the Democrats and the deep state, the future of the country is still very much hanging in the balance. Thankfully, a new calendar and a new administration mark another opportunity for Americans to take back what is rightfully theirs. It won’t be easy. And unlike your New Year’s resolutions, these “ins and outs” should not be forgotten in a couple of weeks. But if they are executed correctly, it will be worth it.

Los Angeles' budget is in the spotlight as multiple wildfires rage around the city amid revelations that Mayor Karen Bass slashed the fire department's budget last year while prioritizing spending on the city's homeless population. For the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Los Angeles budgeted $837 million for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), which was roughly 65% the size of the homeless budget of $1.3 billion. An analysis by L.A.'s city comptroller last year found that roughly half the budget for homelessness went unspent.
