Presidential elections resemble ritual mysteries into which we are initiated. Once the votes are counted, we are imparted a message: a revelation.
Often enough, the voice of the people gets garbled in transmission. Did Donald Trump really win in 2016? Did Joe Biden do so in 2020? In both cases, the losing side felt cheated of the correct meaning of the message.
But on occasion, the people speak with a voice like thunder. The political landscape, obscured by gaseous special pleading, false narratives, and outdated concepts, is suddenly swept clean.
Everything is clarified. We know where we stand.
Donald Trump’s big electoral win over Kamala Harris last Tuesday was a clarifier for the ages.

This article has been updated to include another win for House Republicans called later on Monday night.
On Monday evening, 7:13pm EST, Decision Desk HQ projected that Republicans will retain control of the House of Representatives as a result of the 2024 elections. Republicans also seized control of the Senate last Tuesday, thanks to Sen-elect Bernie Moreno's win in Ohio after he unseated Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown. (X) Republicans were able to clinch the majority thanks to Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani winning reelection in Arizona's 6th Congressional District. Earlier on Monday, Decision Desk HQ also called

Leftist MSNBC commentator Joy Reid announced some “free advice” to “white women” following President-elect Donald Trump’s win last week: “Black women have resigned from the ‘Save America’ coalition.”
After exit polls revealed that the majority of white female voters cast their ballots for the former president on Tuesday, Reid has been pitting them against black voters. “I just want to give some free advice to the White progressive women who may be thinking about marching against the Trump victory, maybe putting back on the P-word hats and doing that thing, I would just say probably don’t send any of those invites to any black women,”

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to name Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida as his nominee for secretary of state, though the pick is not a done deal, two sources familiar with the talks tell CBS News.
The expected nomination represents a long road from the time Trump and the Florida senator were rivals in the 2016 Republican primaries. [snip] The two have since repaired the relationship, and Rubio campaigned with the former president this year.
The New York Times first reported that Trump appears to be settled on Rubio for the post. A spokesperson for Rubio did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Swamp at Foggy Bottom is not taking the news over President Trump’s reelection well at all.
The Washington Free Beacon reported Monday that the Biden State Department organized what is being described as a “cry session” on Friday. This sad meeting was put together by the State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.
The outlet notes officials at the bureau have been working for months to sanction Israel for supposedly not doing enough to provide humanitarian aid in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip. The staffers at the meeting were actually urged to share their feelings rather than discuss how to serve the incoming Trump Administration.

What do Arizona and Nevada in the ‘Wild West’ have in common with the 2024 Election? Why it’s the endless ballot/vote counting after Election Day, as the evil forces work 24/7 to reach a plausible stolen vote total for their Democrat Senate Candidates to win by; Jacky Rosen in Nevada, and Ruben Gallego in Arizona.

We've reported on multiple instances of media and voter meltdowns over Donald Trump's drubbing of Kamala Harris in the presidential election. One demographic that seems to be taking it particularly hard is women. They’re not only shaving their heads in protest, but some are talking about refusing to have sex with men or have babies (the “4B movement”) and showing their devotion to the cause by wearing blue bracelets.
What any of this will accomplish is beyond me.
Now some are taking out their frustrations by fantasizing about... killing men. Yes, really. We can only hope they're not serious, but sometimes social media phenomena do actually have deadly effects.

Those of us old enough to remember the beginning and heyday of the Tea Party know just how spontaneous and organic it was. Ordinary average Americans from all walks of life were fed up with bigger and more encroaching big government. At the time, the prime example of that bloated government was Obamacare. Tea Party people felt like the people in Washington, D.C., were not listening to them. So, they took to the streets and the ballot box in 2010 and made them listen. That same thing happened again in 2024. Big government was once again on the ballot,

Republicans are projected to keep control of the House of Representatives, handing the party total control of Washington with former President Trump back in the White House in January.
Decision Desk HQ projected the GOP would hold the House by winning its 218th seat, the number needed for a majority in the lower chamber.
The result is a major win for Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), who skyrocketed up from obscurity to lead the House GOP not only legislatively, but had a large role in its campaign infrastructure.

Former President, now President-Elect, Donald Trump put together an incredible coalition of Americans who resoundingly rejected Kamala Harris and her attempt to continue the failed policies of the Biden-HARRIS administration. We were told that we would have to wait days, maybe weeks, to find out the results of the election. Nah, it came late that evening.

In 1979, President Jimmy Carter established the Department of Education, one of the most egregious moves by the U.S. government against the people.
Since then, it's followed the long, proud tradition of being a federal department that fails upward. Any inability to achieve a good result is because it wasn't funded enough, or staffed enough. I don't particularly care if it's unbecoming to take some pleasure in how the left is responding to Trump's resounding victory. After what the left did to this country for the past four years, I intend to savor the moment in every way possible.
And boy, did I get a lot of joy from the Washington Post's brutal election postmortem. The article argues that Democrats missed warning signs of their declining working-class support, especially with the lack of major labor union endorsements, which is absolutely true. As a result, Trump has created a multiracial, working-class movement that may make it difficult for Democrats to win in the future.

The brain worms at Regime propaganda outlet MSNBC are real and spectacular in the wake of Donald Trump’s decisive election victory. The multi-racial coalition that swept Trump back into power has left MSNBC seething, and unable to cope: particularly at the Latino shift.

Democrats are quite a bag of snakes, lovin' their candidates in victory, and pretending they ever heard of them in defeat.
So, with the presidential defeat of Kamala Harris after a costly, hard-fought campaign, the Obamas reportedly aren't taking her phone calls.
The reports on Twitter suggest this going on: What a wretched story. A whirlwind campaign, an Obama endorsement, a feisty debate, a billion spent, celebrity endorsements galore, Kamala $20 million in the hole, and he's not speaking to her now.

I had dinner last night with my next door neighbor, a lifetime Democratic voter in Southern California who voted last Tuesday for Donald Trump, the first Republican for whom she ever cast a vote. It was a birthday dinner, and a member of her family who gets her news entirely from MSNBC was visibly panicked. She believes the country is lost, and she's terrified of what she perceives will happen to the lifestyle she's chosen.
I hugged her and told her that it's going to be just fine, that Trump's sole concerns are getting the economy turned around, expelling people that legally shouldn't be here, especially if they're violent criminals,

The media and the left keep telling us that the Deep State is a myth, and they are gaslighting you.
During Trump's first term the same people who denied that the Deep State existed also celebrated the #resistance within government, even celebrating on the pages of the New York Times' editorial page a White House official who bragged that he was working to stymie Trump's policies.
Trump was unprepared to staff up his administration the first time around, and establishment Republicans helped him staff up with people who turned out to be swamp creatures.

Happy Veterans Day. In our honor, the government suspends mail call for one day. Such decisions explain why Kamala got 90% of the vote in DC.
Explanations of why Trump got a majority of the votes elsewhere are not as forthcoming, at least to Democrats. After all, in their eyes, he is a bungling, convicted felon, Hitler, raping puppet of Putin who downs 12 cans of Diet Coke a day. How could they possibly lose to the likes of him?
So they are blaming Joe Biden, the only person in the universe to beat him.

The Democratic election postmortem immediately descended into public blame-gaming—as expected. When Joe Biden was forced off the ticket in late July, the conspirators issued a party line that he was to be praised as a veritable George Washington—in the spirit of Washington’s farewell address of 1796 about why it was a good thing for the first president not to run for a third term.
So, we were lied to that Joe, the sitting President of the United States, was not forced out by Nancy Pelosi, the Obamas, George Clooney and the celebs, and the billionaire class. We instead were lectured

Columbia University activists are planning a protest of Veterans Day — which organizers want to “reclaim” from the “Israel-US war machine” in the name of Palestinians killed in Gaza.
The unsanctioned student group Columbia University Apartheid Divest is circulating flyers for the event — set for Monday on the Ivy League school’s main Morningside Heights campus.
“Veterans Day is an American holiday to honor the patriotism, love of country, and sacrifice of veterans. We reject this holiday and refuse to celebrate it,” a flyer for the agitator group’s event said.
“The American war machine should not be honored for the horrors unleashed on others,” the flyer added.

So you thought that a 312-vote Electoral College victory, an improbable popular-vote triumph, a flip of the U.S. Senate and, as of this writing, retention of a GOP House majority settled matters?
You thought common sense and true normalcy would return to government, society, and the culture?
As if.
Don’t kid yourselves. The least intelligent, least articulate, and most incompetent presidential candidate ever may have failed to attain the Democrats’ customary deep blue state-fueled popular majority. The historic re-election of Donald Trump as America’s 47th president will have sent shivers down the spine of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader. News that the FBI have arrested 3 people charged with plotting to assassinate Donald Trump under direct instructions from the Iranian regime’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), will have further enraged the president-elect. During his previous term in office Trump cracked down hard on the theocratic regime. He unilaterally withdrew America from President Obama’s deeply flawed nuclear deal with the Iranians. He ramped up sanctions with his ‘Maximum Pressure’ campaign, and he ordered the elimination of Iran’s warmongering mastermind,

The FBI’s background investigation (B.I.) process for political nominees has allegedly been corrupted with “improper handling” of sensitive information, according to an investigation by America First Legal (AFL). AFL’s November 7 press release asserts that the mishandling of private information is a “critical” matter” that must be addressed because of the potential to use the B.I. process as a “weapon against future nominees.”
It also appears that select staff from the Senate Judiciary Committee “appear to have shared FBI background reports and personal financial information in a breach of Senate security protocols.”

On election night, Chris Hayes, the insufferable MSNBC talking head, was one of the people spewing out the hackneyed complaint, saying “We have this very funky and terrible system called the Electoral College which decides elections in a way that is totally different than every other election in the United States,

President Biden and Vice President Harris will make their first public appearance together since last week’s Election when the two leaders attend a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
Biden and Harris will participate in a wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. First lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff will also attend, the White House said. Harris will also attend Biden’s remarks at the amphitheater at Arlington cemetery.
Harris last week lost the presidential election to President-elect Trump, with Trump winning all seven battleground states. He is also on track to win the popular vote. Finger-pointing has ensued over who was most to blame for Harris’s defeat.

If this story of a cabal of Pentagon officials meeting to undermine the incoming constitutional commander-in-chief of the U.S. military had been a rumor circulating on X or I’d received in an email from some random source, I would have discounted it. But that’s not the case; it comes from CNN. This suggests that something is deeply wrong in the Pentagon—the same Pentagon that “forgot” to send absentee ballots to U.S. troops serving overseas, a gross violation of their civil rights, and one that ought to result in courts-martial all the way up to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Perhaps one day we will be. It turned out to be a laughably wrong poll. Ann Selzer, who used to be credible, released a shock poll days before Election Day showing that Kamala Harris had taken the lead over Donald Trump. No one believed it. Not even Democrats did, I think. The state was Trump +18 in June. It swung to Harris +3 in October. We would’ve seen the groundswell if that were happening. It didn’t. Trump carried the state by 14 points. Also, there were less-than-subtle hints that Democrats knew this poll would drop before the public did. Who leaked it? Gannett, the Des Moines Register’s publisher, wants to know that. They’ve launched an investigation.

In a superficial world where pro athletes and Hollywood actors are sometimes considered heroes, Veterans Day exists to remind us that real heroes wore combat uniforms and kept the USA free.
Veterans are rightly praised for their service as they are the ones who literally put their lives on the line for this nation. Among them are combat veterans who said goodbye to their families for deployments — sometimes numerous deployments — and who fought against barbaric fascists in World II, were often overlooked for holding the ground in Korean, crawled under live fire in Vietnam jungles while dodging Viet Cong attacks,
