So you thought that a 312-vote Electoral College victory, an improbable popular-vote triumph, a flip of the U.S. Senate and, as of this writing, retention of a GOP House majority settled matters? You thought common sense and true normalcy would return to government, society, and the culture? As if. Don’t kid yourselves. The least intelligent, least articulate, and most incompetent presidential candidate ever may have failed to attain the Democrats’ customary deep blue state-fueled popular majority. But the reality is that America remains a deeply divided, essentially 50-50 nation. Meaning that:

Some of the flaming liberals I know have multiple college degrees and tout that as evidence of their superiority. They look down their noses at us common hoi polloi and are at a loss to understand what happened. Much as I try to not include politics in conversations, not everyone has that rule. While the deep state will try to sabotage Trump, I don't think they have any idea what their up against. Trump is going to fight a no holds barred street fight with no more mister nice guy. He spent 4 years learning on the fly and another 4 years planning on how to fix the system. While these last 4 years have been hard on the foundations of this country, it may have been necessary in order to wake up the majority of what needs to be done to straighten out this country. Imagine living in a country who puts their citizens first instead of last. If you believe Devine Intervention played a part in bringing the founders of this country together and the right time to form this great country, maybe it's playing a part in the great awakening and reorganization of this country. Happy Veterans Day to everyone who served!

We are not a divided nation. That was started so the mess we just had for four years would be thought possible. The simple fact that Trump won a huge number of states says flat out - we are not a divided nation.

I had hoped that the olive branches being extended by both sides would lead to a new era of a more gentile government, and the virulent excesses that have blown up would be tamped down. Today’s new headlines are dashing that hope. Hear me…if the large middle ground is speaking…sedition, a constitutional offense whether military or sedition…FAFO. Vote tampering…a federal offense…FAFO.

While I agree with the article that there a significant number of morons in the country, I don't buy into the level of despair. First, we need to stop our government taking the side of the Left. We have a Constitution and a bunch of laws that say how our government should operate. As Trump plans, we need to restructure or government so that it has to color within the LEGAL lines. Example: The people pouring across the border are doing so ILLEGALLY. That MUST STOP. The laws are clear and we need to restructure the enforcement organizations so they MUST obey the law. Laws are NOT optional, as the Biden clowns are treating them. Talk about tyranny, Biden is breaking the law by not controlling the border. We need to eliminate the ability of government departments to take actions outside the LEGAL mandates that created and empower them. The SCOTUS has stated that these agencies do not have the right to do what they have been doing. HOWEVER, we need to drag their illicit decisions into court to get them tossed out. That's a LOT of clean up to do. Then a constant monitoring is required to shut down any future attempts for an agency to act outside it's ordained limits. We must emphasize that THE PRESIDENT is the Chief Executive AND Commander in Chief, and as long as he is not violating the Constitution or other federal law, HIS is the prevailing will, NOT the unelected minions of the bureaucracy or the military. If such people don't like it, they should be asked to resign or they should be fired. The media and business problems are already starting to work themselves out. Media is bleeding money and viewership. They will either significantly restructure for fair coverage or go broke. Businesses on the Left are also losing business. We should spotlight the ones that are acting most egregious and let the American People decide where they want to do business. If these Leftist companies act illegally, the government should stop doing business with them. As to the American People, competence, success and fairness will convince many people that the Left is wrong. Without lying media voices and the with the weakened and exposed Left remaining in government, people will see more clearly how the Left has ruined the Country. We don't need groupthink on the Right, in fact that would be bad, but we do need a fair and honest playing field. THAT is within our grasp, with a bit of hard and competent work. The American People have given us a MANDATE. Let's be fearless, FIGHT, and get to work!

Twenty years ago, as the world was focusing on an election in America, something happened in Amsterdam that, in many ways, was even more important. On November 2, 2004, the Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh was murdered in the city center, in the morning, while bicycling to work. His killer, Mohammed Bouyeri, then 26, explained in a note stabbed into van Gogh’s stomach that van Gogh’s film Submission was guilty of “blasphemy”—it criticized Islam’s treatment of women—and he threatened that van Gogh’s colleague Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Jews, and other nonbelievers would meet a similar end.

President-elect Trump’s promise to let Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “go wild” on health is demoralizing public health experts, who worry he could meddle with key government agencies, amplify vaccine hesitancy and direct agency funding to favor his preferred views. Those include removing fluoride from public water, promoting a wide variety of unorthodox and unproven treatments and pushing a deep skepticism of pharmaceutical companies and the agencies overseeing them. But with Trump’s victory, Kennedy could soon be in charge of those same agencies. “FDA’s war on public health is about to end,” Kennedy wrote on social media shortly before the election, referring to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Things are moving quickly after President-elect Donald Trump's win on Tuesday in the general election. One of the issues that voters said was one of the major reasons they pulled the lever in the ballot box for him, and not Vice President Kamala Harris, is immigration. In a piece Thursday, my colleague Ward Clark outlined the agenda items that Trump has promised to tackle on day one of the new administration. Among those, of course, is not only beginning deporting the illegals already in the country but securing the porous southern border with Mexico.

One of the best things about Kamala Harris losing is that now, Tim Walz can slink back to Minnesota and we won't have to deal with him on the national stage into the future. He's truly a hard individual to take, from gesticulations to falsehoods. At Kamala's concession speech on Wednesday, Walz appeared close to crying. In the final analysis, in a campaign full of failure and bad choices, picking Tim Walz may have been one of her worst choices. It's hard to believe that we're just a few hours away from it officially being Election Day, but yes, we've finally made it to that point. In North Carolina, there has been a distinct buzz in the air on the Republican/conservative side since early voting started on October 17th, with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's push for Republicans to take advantage of early voting spurring early vote numbers for the party not seen in previous election cycles. The difference was pronounced enough that it caused a full-blown panic for the Harris-Walz campaign, which was aware from past elections that early voting has typically been the strong suit for Democrats, not Republicans.
