When love congeals: Obama reportedly not
taking Kamala's phone calls now

Democrats are quite a bag of snakes, lovin' their candidates in victory, and pretending they ever heard of them in defeat. So, with the presidential defeat of Kamala Harris after a costly, hard-fought campaign, the Obamas reportedly aren't taking her phone calls. The reports on Twitter suggest this going on: What a wretched story. A whirlwind campaign, an Obama endorsement, a feisty debate, a billion spent, celebrity endorsements galore, Kamala $20 million in the hole, and he's not speaking to her now.

The Mulatto wars. Barack alienates blacks against an Indian/Black/Jamaican and she loses the election. What does Harris want from them, an apology?

He hates losers, but Obumbler picked the dumbest, most corrupt, lying dolt in Washington DC to be his running mate, Eight years later, "candidate Biden" then picked the dumbest, most un-talented, uber-left politician in the Swamp, who then stabbed him in the back under a "Coup d'Bidet" to put herself into the running. He is the ultimate architect of this fiasco which will likely end the evolution of the Democrat Party begun by Bill Clinton and made more radical by "the Won." Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, whose country is hosting the COP29 climate summit this week, lashed out at Western media and climate activists on Tuesday for criticizing his country’s oil and gas industries. Aliyev said oil and gas were a “gift from God,” fossil fuels cannot be eliminated entirely, and climate extremists have subjected Azerbaijan to a “well-orchestrated campaign of slander and blackmail.” Aliyev said all of these things during his keynote address to the COP29 conference, enraging many of the attendees, even though he said he was committed to a gradual transition away from carbon-emitting energy production.

Trump’s nominations are coming thick and fast, and among the more interesting is his selection of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead a new Department of Government Efficiency: Despite the name, Trump clarified in a statement that the Musk-Ramaswamy effort would “provide advice and guidance from outside of Government” in tandem with the White House and its Office of Management & Budget “to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.” So I take it there won’t be an actual department, it will just be Elon and Vivek and maybe some aides.

One of the biggest winners of the 2024 election was Scott Jennings. The folksy columnist and former George W. Bush staffer was a dominant force in his role as CNN's token Republican, regularly holding his own in one-on-five debates with Democrats and journalists who support Democrats. As a normal American, Jennings often seemed out of place on CNN, mostly because he wasn't afraid to criticize Democrats but also because of his insightful commentary and because he never lost his cool—or his sense of humor—when his remarks were inevitably met with incredulous screeching. When Jennings wasn't calling out his onscreen

Hundreds of posters depicting Jewish faculty members as “wanted” were plastered across the University of Rochester campus in upstate New York on Sunday night, an antisemitic act the school’s president told CNN “would not be tolerated.” The posters criticize faculty members for their alleged response to the war in Gaza.

At least eight drones, five anti-ship ballistic missiles and three anti-ship cruise missiles were aimed at the USS Stockdale and the USS Spruance on Monday. The vessels shot down the projectiles and were "not damaged and no personnel were hurt," Pentagon press secretary Air Force Major Gen Pat Ryder told reporters on Tuesday. The attack followed a series of airstrikes made by the US Central Command against Houthi weapons storage bases in Yemen.

Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign donated $500,000 to Al Sharpton’s nonprofit organization just weeks before the anti-Semitic MSNBC host—who once said that "diamond merchant" Jews have the "blood of innocent babies" on their hands—conducted a friendly interview with Harris. The campaign’s remittance to Sharpton’s National Action Network was part of a flurry of donations—$5.4 million in all—to black and Latino advocacy groups that seem aimed at winning Harris support from those constituencies. Harris’s campaign gave two payments of $250,000 to National Action Network on Sept. 5 and Oct. 1, according to campaign finance records.

The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit summarily vaporized 46 years of Federal environmental regulations. Writing in a case called Marin Audubon Society, et al v. FAA, et al, the majority of a three-judge panel ruled that the Council on Environmental Quality, a cabal inside the Executive Office of the President charged with ensuring that National Environmental Protection Act requirements are interpreted uniformly across the federal government, had illegally used the Federal Register to publish that guidance thereby giving citizens, agencies, and even the courts the impression that their internal guidance had the authority of law.

Not Richard Grennell, eh? I bet the intelligence community feels pretty nervous now. Donald Trump hasn't made his choice of Director of National Intelligence public yet, and now Grennell's available. Grennell would have had an inside track on Secretary of State after his tenure as US Ambassador to Germany in the first Trump term. Instead, the New York Times reports that Trump will appoint Marco Rubio to run the State Department, where he will work with Elise Stefanik as Trump's ambassador to the UN. A review of the latest literature found babies with a genetic predisposition to autism exposed to four common air pollutants were more likely to develop the condition. It's thought that when breathed in during early childhood or in the womb these pollutants can get into the bloodstream. There, they can bypass the protective layers of the brain, causing inflammation, changing the way nerves function and develop.

President-elect Donald Trump's promise to unleash a big oil boom in the US and lower gas prices is running up against a market reality: The world is already awash in fossil fuels.
