President Biden and Vice President Harris will make their first public appearance together since last week’s Election when the two leaders attend a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Biden and Harris will participate in a wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. First lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff will also attend, the White House said. Harris will also attend Biden’s remarks at the amphitheater at Arlington cemetery. Harris last week lost the presidential election to President-elect Trump, with Trump winning all seven battleground states. He is also on track to win the popular vote. Finger-pointing has ensued over who was most to blame for Harris’s defeat.

The historic re-election of Donald Trump as America’s 47th president will have sent shivers down the spine of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader. News that the FBI have arrested 3 people charged with plotting to assassinate Donald Trump under direct instructions from the Iranian regime’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), will have further enraged the president-elect. During his previous term in office Trump cracked down hard on the theocratic regime. He unilaterally withdrew America from President Obama’s deeply flawed nuclear deal with the Iranians. He ramped up sanctions with his ‘Maximum Pressure’ campaign, and he ordered the elimination of Iran’s warmongering mastermind,

The FBI’s background investigation (B.I.) process for political nominees has allegedly been corrupted with “improper handling” of sensitive information, according to an investigation by America First Legal (AFL). AFL’s November 7 press release asserts that the mishandling of private information is a “critical” matter” that must be addressed because of the potential to use the B.I. process as a “weapon against future nominees.” It also appears that select staff from the Senate Judiciary Committee “appear to have shared FBI background reports and personal financial information in a breach of Senate security protocols.”

Every four years, various “experts” whine about the Electoral College, that seemingly bizarre feature of the Constitution whereby a handful of “electors” from each state get to choose the next president. This year proved why the Electoral College, which so many complain about but very few understand, was an incredible invention of our nation’s founders. On election night, Chris Hayes, the insufferable MSNBC talking head, was one of the people spewing out the hackneyed complaint, saying “We have this very funky and terrible system called the Electoral College which decides elections in a way that is totally different than every other election in the United States,

If this story of a cabal of Pentagon officials meeting to undermine the incoming constitutional commander-in-chief of the U.S. military had been a rumor circulating on X or I’d received in an email from some random source, I would have discounted it. But that’s not the case; it comes from CNN. This suggests that something is deeply wrong in the Pentagon—the same Pentagon that “forgot” to send absentee ballots to U.S. troops serving overseas, a gross violation of their civil rights, and one that ought to result in courts-martial all the way up to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Conservatives heaved a sigh of relief when Donald Trump was announced the winner of the presidential election, since most believed the left was going to cheat and steal the election again from him. While there was almost certainly cheating in the U.S. Senate race in Arizona between Kari Lake and no-name, open borders Ruben Gallego, as well as with Arizona’s abortion-till-birth Prop. 139, Trump was allowed to win the state and the six other battleground states.

President-elect Donald Trump has tapped New York GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik for the job of US ambassador to the United Nations, according to a report. Trump offered Stefanik the gig late Sunday, a source familiar with the assignment told CNN. The apparent offer follows previous reports that Trump was eyeing the powerful chair of the House Republican Conference for the gig. Stefanik reportedly caught the future president’s eye with her aggressive defense of his policies. Her departure from the House would spur a special election within 90 days to fill the open upstate seat she’ll leave behind. Her replacement would likely go to another Republican, given the reliably red district she represents.

On Saturday evening, Donald Trump gave a strong signal of what his second term would be like, writing on Truth Social: “I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation. I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” This was an unusual move that many ascribed to Trump’s personal pique against both, but there was more to it than that.

The US Department of Defense is challenging the decision of a military judge to reinstate three 9/11 terrorists’ plea deals that guarantee they would be spared the death penalty. The Pentagon pledged in a Nov. 8 letter to victims’ families that it would fight to delay the guilty plea hearings. The announcement followed a months-long back-and-forth between the DoD, the Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and attorneys for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed — the accused architect of the al Qaeda attacks — and two alleged co-conspirators, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin Attash and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi.

Hamas should not be permitted to play any role in the Gaza Strip after the war. This would allow the terror group to rearm and regroup and prepare for another October 7-style attack on Israel. By negotiating with Hamas about the future of the Gaza Strip, Abbas is legitimizing the Iran-backed terror group and sending a message to the Palestinians and the rest of the world that he sees no problem with dealing with murderers and terrorists who committed the most horrific crimes... As we have seen most recently in the Chinese Communist Party, Iran and Afghanistan, negotiating with terrorists and their equivalents simply does not work.

A review of the latest literature found babies with a genetic predisposition to autism exposed to four common air pollutants were more likely to develop the condition. It's thought that when breathed in during early childhood or in the womb these pollutants can get into the bloodstream. There, they can bypass the protective layers of the brain, causing inflammation, changing the way nerves function and develop.

Donald Trump’s thumping re-election threatens to upend the business of an industry he’s sworn to protect: Big Oil. Should his incoming administration follow through on plans to once again pull the United States out of the landmark 2015 Paris climate agreement—as a way to loosen regulations on fossil fuel companies—it could actually end up hurting companies like Exxon Mobil, according to the oil giant’s CEO. President-elect Donald Trump's promise to unleash a big oil boom in the US and lower gas prices is running up against a market reality: The world is already awash in fossil fuels. "I don't think today that production in the US is constrained," he said. "I don't know that there's an opportunity to unleash a lot of production in the near term."

It’s hard to know just how much of the country hates Donald Trump. The easy answer is about half. But that’s probably wrong. Much less than half of the country voted against him last week and it would be a mistake to think that every one of those Americans hates the man. Surely a significant portion of Harris-Walz voters made their decisions simply because they either like Democratic policies or oppose the Republican agenda. If so, it would seem that Trump has an opportunity to unify a bitterly divided nation. Still, there’s an angry, petty and vocal faction on the left that has no interest in unity because
