Luxe Manhattan skyscrapers, championship-caliber golf courses, and a 200-acre Westchester estate could all be up for grabs as Donald Trump strains to pay the $355 million civil fraud ruling that a New York judge slapped him with this week.
A host of Trump properties in Manhattan, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley — even his iconic $348 million Trump Tower — could end up on the chopping block, sources told The Post, as a 30-day deadline to pay the fine imposed by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron looms.
“I can’t imagine that he’s going to hold on to any assets in New York state after this,” a Trump insider told The Post.

I have never seen such a thing in this country. When corrupt Judges could act in this manner to bring down a former President. This is not my country any more it has been seized by the Democrat party and their flunky Judges.

I think he should sell off all the stuff he isn't attached to. He can build Golf Courses anywhere! If he really wants to keep the Tower, keep it. Then sell everything else he owns in NY City. Leave the place full of empty buildings and get the heck out of that Hell Hole! When he becomes President, lower the hammer on Judge Engoron in every way possible. Make his life a living hell! Trump never forgets! That Judge and the Attorney General, Miss Letitia, are going down! Trump will find a way!

Trump doesn't have to pay the full amount of the judgment while he appeals. He can get an appeal bond for a fraction of the judgment amount (still a lot). He can also ask the Appellate Court to stay the ruling suspending his business, which they are like to do. The judgment is still outrageous and will make it more difficult for the business to operate while the case is appealed.

Trump is appealing this ruling and I really don't think he will give in and dump anything in the foreseeable future. He may move his business dealings to Fla. or elsewhere but I do not see him giving up Trump Tower or any other of his iconic businesses until he exhausts every avenue to fight this. This little weasel of a judge has not won yet like he thinks he has or that fat*a* James either. MAGA

Appeal bond in New York is 100% plus interest, so Trump will have to put up over $450 million. There is no option to put up only a fraction of the amount as is common for criminal bail. This is straight up extortion by the court. After seeing this, why would anyone want to do business in New York?

So what does it matter what a person thinks his property is worth. A Lender will tell you what your property is worth. If I tell everyone my $300 thou property is worth $1 million, is that illegal? Will I be charged?

Lenders do not lend unless they know the recipient will pay back the loan. It is up to the LENDER to audit the collateral. If they have had extensive experience with the borrower in the past, they may just do a cursory, or NO audit. I personally know of an individual in UpState NYS who could just walk into a bank and loan with NO audits, because he was a trusted borrower with extensive properties ( Not Mr Trump ). What does this have to do with the State of New York A>G>? The idiot's persecution is less than Constitutional. It is up to the LENDER to make sure their loan is secured. ( My Opinion ).

Real estate cannot be sold at fair market prices in 30 days. NY state, being the nastiest and meanest state, alongside California, will charge individual income taxes to Trump for the number of days he has been in NY for trial, even though he is a resident of Florida. Effectively, the judge has ruled Trump guilty with no trial, suspended his right to an attorney or defense, and ruled that he must put up all the money before his appeal is complete. Unheard of. I remember Oberlin College didn't pay their judgement for over 3 years.

Not going to happen. The Trump hating crazies are going to eventually be brought up against the actual laws, not their criminal, fraudulent, fake "courts" with their crooked judges, and this "judgement" is going to get tossed.
There was no fraud, there was no crime, there was just ordinary, normal, LEGAL business.

Trump will end up paying nothing. The justices on the Supreme Court recognize crooked and inept judges when they see one because they have a few sitting beside them on the bench who can't even answer basic questions on the Constitution. However, if he really wanted to get revenge on New York City he could hire a bunch of DEI initiates to manage his properties. Better yet, he could fill his tower with illegal immigrants and rent out the golf courses as camping grounds for a few hundred thousand more. It would be a fitting exit.

If he can't do business in New York, does that mean he's not allowed to SELL Trump Tower and gold courses? Wouldn't that be business? Isn't that a violation of the Takings Clause?

Unreasonable search and seizures, cruel and unusual punishments, Ad Hominem, bill of attainder...banned from doing business....no Bank that "does any business in NY" can engage in ANY transactions with ONE individual...with an additional "9%" interest rate applied, a rate HIGHER than he could get from a Bank, much higher than he could get via a bond offering.....
LITERALLY demanding an Arm and a Leg...as well as a Pound of Flesh, while forbidding ANY Legitimate Local Financing entity from participating in a solution. In a collapsing real estate market where citywide sales values are already plummeting, and after the Judge has arbitrarily declared Trumps holdings are worth LESS than the current market to begin with.

how do these flunky dirtbags play both sides of the fence? i'm sure gasperino doesnt know.
they claim the true valuation is inflated, based upon no facts from them, b/c they cannot do the math.
if the value they pulled out of their posteriors is what is due--that's pennies on the dollar.
challenge that for the appeal, and pay the low-ball they claim for that fee, only, backed by
industry experts-reminding the appeals court engorge-on is a moron..
all the amounts are unfounded rubbish. any judge who supports it should be added to a rico claim.
