What the Media hasn't Told you About Carroll
v. Trump

By now, everyone in the entire world heard about a New York federal jury’s award of $83 million dollars to E. Jean Carroll against Donald J. Trump for what she claims was a sexual assault in a Bergdorf’s dressing room. The verdict itself consists of $18.3 million dollars in compensatory damages and $65 million in punitive damages. What virtually no one reports is these damage awards are grossly excessive. The overwhelming likelihood is Donald Trump won’t have to pay anywhere near this amount of money, even if his efforts to reverse the verdict altogether fail. Let’s take a closer look at the reasons why.

I suppose my question would be, how does one "defame" a reputation that's a dumpster fire to start with and scarcely worth twenty cents, much less 83 million.

Damages can't be reduced enough to remove the stain upon PDJT's public persona. This was a litigious lottery win for her & these leeches: smut-raking spaghetti throwers. If she gets a dime there needs to be an OMG or other actual investigative reporter to track who gets the payola from this looney toon fembot-wannabe.

The sixth amendment supposedly guarantees citizens the right to a speedy trial, an impartial jury, and assumption of innocence until proven guilty. President Trump is a citizen, yet none of these guarantees apply in this case. It is shameful and a continuation to the destruction of this flawed but once great and unique country. The same applies to most of those persecuted in the January six event. Shame on us.

This lawsuit has never been about the verdict because democrats intended that the process would be the punishment. Carroll made an absurd allegation that should never have seen the inside of a courtroom. All democrats wanted was an accusation they could run with and use as a weapon against President Trump. Since the Carroll case was so effective I would urge Juanita Broderick to get herself down to the courthouse forthwith. The Carroll case like the rest of the lawfare cases is but a weapon to use against Trump. It has no basis in reality and has no legal merit. This is political prosecution perpetrated by an illegitimate administration to interfere in a Presidential election. It is how the democrat party rolls. They will put you in jail or bankrupt you if you oppose them. You can tell how far down the abyss this country has fallen when a travesty like this can be perpetrated with very little push back from our esteemed legal community. We are no longer a nation of laws but are now a nation of men and the majority of those men are corrupt to the core.

Jack Smith wants to put Donald Trump in jail because Trump aggressively interpreted aspects of the Electoral Count Act. However, other people (not connected to Trump) were far more aggressive. They decided to completely ignore a constitutional requirement that had been firmly settled by the U.S. Supreme Court. Who were those lawbreakers? They were revered justices of the Supreme Court of Hawaii. Will Jack Smith or Merrick Garland put those justices in jail? Will the Hawaii bar association suspend their licenses? Will anyone even comment on their defiance? Don’t hold your breath.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court gave Special Counsel Jack Smith one week to respond to former and potentially future President Donald Trump's request from Monday that the Court keep his trial to do with the January 6 case on hold as claims of presidential immunity are considered. Smith has already responded, though, doing so with a Wednesday filing as he urged the Court to reject Trump's request. Such a request from Trump comes after the DC Court of Appeals ruled last week that Trump does not have presidential immunity. The news cycle since yesterday has been abuzz with a grave national security threat. First launched into the public eye by House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) as a cryptic warning on X, it has since been fleshed out. As much as the Endless-War-and-Money-for-Ukraine crowd wants us to believe Russia is on the ropes, the country has, in fact, been holding its own quite well, not only cementing its gains in Ukraine and building a thriving economy with its slimy trade partners but also apparently developing frightening new weapons systems.

In 1925, John Scopes was put on trial for teaching evolution. He lost. It was called the trial of the century and captured the nation’s attention. For Americans, assaults on free speech are intolerable. Speech is the lifeblood of freedom. It is the hill we will die on because, instinctively, we know that without it, it would also mean death. At least, we used to know. Last week, the 21st century’s trial of the century came to a similarly ignoble end, but nearly without coverage, without interest, without outrage. The global and domestic landscape is one of turmoil and indecision. Everywhere one looks there is chaos and potential disaster, whether in the financial, economic, political, or military sphere. Since the beginning of the post-World War II era there has been one constant that has been the stabilizing force in the world: the stature, power, and influence of the United States. The twelve years of Barack Obama and his ventriloquist dummy, Joe Biden, have overwhelmingly eroded America and dramatically accelerated the demise of western civilization.

ABC News reported that at around 7:15 P.M. Thursday, three individuals entered JD Sports and started stealing items on the second floor. Two of the three suspects, including a teen who lives at a nearby migrant shelter, were later confronted by a female security guard in the lobby. Wicked people. The Biden regime is still using the FBI to round up, indict, harass, threaten, and ruin patriotic Americans who attended the Stop the Steal rally in Washington DC on January 6, 2021. The Biden DOJ is now arresting Americans who stood outside the building, committed no crimes, but were standing in the unidentified “restricted ground” around the US Capitol that day. Thousands of Trump supporters gathered in this area by the US Capitol because there were several Stop the Steal protests planned in this area. The rally organizers all had permits for their events.

Thomas Lifson recently wrote about In-N-Out Burger and Denny’s fleeing Oakland, California. Crime became so constant and blatant it was too dangerous for employees and customers. At the In-N-Out, criminals were going from car to car in the drive-up lane, robbing customers as they waited for their orders. This kind of wanton, and unrestrained criminality isn’t limited to California. It’s everywhere Democrats/socialist/communists rule, places across the country like Boston: Walgreens was accused of "racial discrimination" by a Democratic lawmaker in Massachusetts after the pharmacy giant closed another location in Boston.

While this year’s election will certainly be important, I’d argue that 2008 was the most important election in our lifetime. That’s the year in which we were offered a fork in the road, and we chose the “fundamentally transform America” left turn. We’ve just been looking for the “transform it back” off-ramp ever since. However, I am willing to say that 2024 is likely to be the most dangerous election in our lifetime.

Ostensibly, these terrorist groups claim they are hitting U.S. forces to coerce America into dropping its support of Israel and demanding a cease-fire in the Gaza war. In reality, these satellite terrorists are being directed in a larger effort by Iran to pry the U.S. out of the Middle East, in the manner of the 1983 Marine barracks bombing. That way, Iran will be free to fulfill its old dream of becoming a nuclear shield for a new Shiite/Persian terrorist axis

Donald Trump’s days as a Big Apple real estate tycoon may be numbered. A New York judge ordered that the former president pay more than $350 million — and limit his doing business in the state where he made his name — after finding Friday that he inflated his net worth by billions to dupe banks and insurers over the course of a decade. The ruling from Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, if it withstands an inevitable appeal, could cause Trump, 77, to be stripped of control over Midtown’s Trump Tower and his other iconic New York properties. Engoron’s decision capped a three-month civil trial that put a dent

One of the tricks of knowing when a leftist judge is pulling a fast one is if the decision is really, really long. (snip) Indeed, generally speaking, in my thirty-five years as an attorney, I’ve never seen an appellate court uphold damages so disproportionate to actual injuries suffered—and again, there were no injuries in this case. The fact that there were no injuries in itself means that the case, from ig to zack, denied Trump due process. I don’t see the judgment surviving an appeal, that’s for sure.
