An attorney for one of former president Donald Trump’s co-defendants highlighted on Monday an alleged conflict in statements special prosecutor Nathan Wade submitted under oath. Ashleigh Merchant, who represents Michael Roman, said Wade submitted an affidavit in his divorce case in May 2023 claiming he did not have relations with anyone besides his spouse during his marriage. Yet in a Feb. 1 affidavit attached to the state’s response to Roman’s motion to disqualify Fani Willis, Wade admitted that they have been romantically involved since 2022. “We’ve got two declarations in two different courts, both sworn, both filed with the court, that say something completely different,”

Uh oh, there's trouble in Fani and Wade paradise. There's a verse that says Touch not the Lord's anointed. Meaning what the Left has accused President Trump of doing, they are doing. And this boomerang has hit this Georgia DA right where she lives. Fani is reaping what she has sown. Trying to hurt Trump, she has hurt herself. On top of all that she broke up a marriage. Morally, she will have to face that fact. Not a pretty picture.

A new study finds that human-caused carbon dioxide emissions are driving increased plant growth that’s greening the Earth, even in areas experiencing drought. The peer-reviewed study, which was published in the scientific journal Global Ecology and Conservation, finds that the phenomenon known as “global greening” is an indisputable fact. The rate of global greening has increased slightly, and drought has only slowed, but not stopped, the process. The study, which was done by Chinese and Australian researchers, attributes the greening to carbon dioxide fertilization as well as land management, such as irrigation.

Fines for selling the pods would start at $400, double for a second violation and top off at $1,200 for flouting the rules more than twice, if the bill becomes law. The bill would also require education and outreach to businesses on the ban for the first year. The law wouldn’t take effect until Jan. 1, 2026, if passed.
