In a rare bipartisan move, Senate Republicans and Democrats worked together to push through a supplemental foreign aid bill that would send even more money (with virtually strings attached) to Ukraine. While conservatives in the Senate blasted the bill, their hopes were on the House killing it before it could be brought up to a vote. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky gave a fiery speech on the floor about the issue on Monday afternoon. (X Video) The bill has not formally passed the Senate, but it's already dead in the House.
In a statement released on Monday night, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) announced that the bill would not be taken up

I will never forgive my senator wicker for voting for this bill. I'm sick of being used and lied to by the senate. Those 18 names should all be voted out first chance we get.

My senator is one of the sellouts. This isn't the first time. I'm tempted to vote for the democrat. Better to have the enemy in its own uniform than a traitor in ours.

Thanks Speaker Mike. My Idaho senators are kind of swampy, but it appears they voted against moving this bill forward. Good to see this. Seems like all conservatives (for lack of a better word, can’t say “Republicans” because too many of them are in on it too) should be asking a simple question in front of every camera and microphone they can find - why do Democrats and the Washington establishment care more about Ukraine’s border than they care about ours?

Is this the one that says Trump is to be IMPEACHED if he stops giving money to Ukraine so the dems get their kickbacks?

I am appalled with both of my Louisiana senators!
Kennedy talks a good game as a conservative, but talk is cheap.
Thankfully Louisiana is still proud to have sent Mike Johnson and Clay Higgins to D.C.

I don't see any of the media discussing the fact that this is a spending bill. Spending bills are supposed to be written in the house, not the senate. That is a constitutional requirement. This was much discussed when Obamacare was passed because it was written in the senate. The senate then cheated by putting the text of the Obamacare bill into a different bill that had been passed by the house. Many people don't pay enough attention or have the memory capacity to remember that. The MSM will quote the constitution when it is useful to Democrats but will neglect it when it isn't.

The Uniparty loves the Ukraine. Do all of them have sons in business with Hunter Biden? Why do the Ukranians Vindman, Chalupa, and Nuland have so much power?

#10 ... Yes, this bill ties the hands of "the next President serving through the start of Federal fiscal year 2026" (which begins on October 1, 2025!) by saying if these budget funds are re-allocated before that date then such action is a violation of congressional law, i.e., a crime --- and thus an impeachable offense. J.D. Vance explained it all to Bannon and you can find that conversation on the web.
These traitors are slowly knifing us in the back! The idea is to turn around and claim that when nothing works and Russia beats Ukraine that the MAGA voters and Trump are the reason. Same thing with illegals. We had a solution (which is bull) and they stopped us!

#4, agreed. Though we don't want to lose sight of the fact that every demo-commie that voted for the bill should be removed from office and hanged as traitors alongside their fellow travelers in the republican party.

Yeah, great job Mike... you had to make a decision that would either hurt or help that murderous dictator Putin. You chose poorly. That humming noise you hear is Reagan spinning in his grave.
