Democrats in the Washington state legislature unveiled legislation that would add a convicted sex offender to a key policy board for sex offenses. (snip) By all indications, Abbott is prepared to enter into a standoff of sorts with Biden at the southern border, and the fact that Republican governors from Utah, Idaho, Virginia, and Georgia are all coming to his support is strengthening his hand as he takes on the president’s lawlessness.
If Democrats want to open the border forcibly, Abbott should dare them to do it. Morality, common sense, and the people are all on his side.

A Pennsylvania school board on Thursday voted to restore the Native American warrior head logo that had been part of the district’s tradition until it was wiped away in 2021.
The Southern York County School District board voted 7-2 to bring back the warrior symbol after intense debate on the issue, according to WGAL-TV in Lancaster.
Douglas Brent, a parent whose children are high school students, was among those who spoke in support of restoring the logo.
“Nobody was trying to be demeaning to the local Indian tribes that were here,” he said.
