(snip) "Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) announced that he will introduce the Restricting Administration Zealots from Obliging Raiders (RAZOR) Act," reads a press release from Colins' office. "The legislation would ban the federal government, including the U.S. Border Patrol, from removing or otherwise altering any state-constructed barriers installed to mitigate illegal immigration."

Governor Abbott welcomes support but he argues that the US Constitution itself gives authority to each state to defend itself. That is the whole premise of the National Guard.

NBCUniversal’s Peacock lost a mind-boggling $2.7 billion in 2023 as the left-wing legacy studio continues to burn through cash at an alarming rate in the Hollywood streaming arms race. Peacock’s subscriber base currently stands at around 30 million — still far behind Netflix, which counts around 80 million domestic subscribers. The 2023 losses are worse than the previous year when Peacock lost $2.5 billion.

Donald Trump on Thursday joined a push to disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting Fulton County’s election interference case, saying her defiant remarks at a historic Black church showed “racial animus” toward the former president and his co-defendants. In a court filing, Trump’s two top Atlanta attorneys accused Willis, who is Black, of a “glaring, flagrant, and calculated effort to foment racial bias into this case.” That could unfairly prejudice a jury, they said, and violated Georgia’s rules of professional conduct.

Democrats are clamoring for a major standoff at the southern border between Texas and the federal government, but in doing so, they are putting President Joe Biden in a politically disastrous position. (snip) By all indications, Abbott is prepared to enter into a standoff of sorts with Biden at the southern border, and the fact that Republican governors from Utah, Idaho, Virginia, and Georgia are all coming to his support is strengthening his hand as he takes on the president’s lawlessness. If Democrats want to open the border forcibly, Abbott should dare them to do it. Morality, common sense, and the people are all on his side.

Lindsey Graham of South Carolina embraced Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is prosecuting former President Donald Trump, after he provided testimony in the case, Politico reported on Wednesday. (snip) Graham, who was briefly involved in Trump’s efforts before acknowledging Joe Biden’s victory in the election, testified before the grand jury in the case on Nov. 22, 2022, where he allegedly “turned on a dime and threw Trump under the bus” and attempted to hug Willis after his testimony, according to Politico. Democrats are desperately fighting to keep the Fulton County prosecutor’s office in charge of the Georgia criminal case pending against Donald Trump and his associates. And that tells you all you need to know about the merits of the get-Trump prosecution launched by the now-falling Democrat star Fani Willis. (snip) disqualifying Willis and her office would send the case to the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, where an independent prosecutor would be appointed to take the case over from Willis. Is there going to be a major confrontation on the border following Joe Biden's ultimatum that Texas National Guard forces be removed from Shelby Park and other "disputed" areas? Not if the rank-and-file of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have anything to say about it. According to a new post put out by the Border Patrol Union, and a new report from Griff Jenkins of Fox News, Biden has lost operational control of the situation, at least in a practical sense. The Biden administration had initially warned Texas that it had until mid-day Friday to relinquish control of Shelby Park, the nearby boat dock,

Reid was especially fixated on Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who has been vocal in his criticism of the Biden administration for its failure to handle the border crisis.

But it’s much broader than that: For years, this network of leftists grew from a powerful vast left-wing conspiracy unmasked a decade ago into now being the dominating force on the left determined to stop Trump at all costs. What’s more, these leftists clearly control what top Democrats are saying, forcing their leaders to adopt their narrative.

It’s a .38 Special revolver. Up until one month ago, I had scant idea what such a gun looked like or could do. My husband eventually made the decision to get a gun, which surprised me a little as he is a very peaceable man. Yet, he is a lover of the U.S. Constitution: peaceable, but no fool. This week is our 30th anniversary. For our anniversary present, we bought the gun together. We have talked about buying a gun over the past few years. We live in the South in a semi-rural area bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Traditionally, gun ownership is considered mostly normal here.
