Hollywood Streaming Carnage: NBC Universal’s
Peacock Lost $2.7 Billion in 2023

NBCUniversal’s Peacock lost a mind-boggling $2.7 billion in 2023 as the left-wing legacy studio continues to burn through cash at an alarming rate in the Hollywood streaming arms race. Peacock’s subscriber base currently stands at around 30 million — still far behind Netflix, which counts around 80 million domestic subscribers. The 2023 losses are worse than the previous year when Peacock lost $2.5 billion.

1) They are reducing pricing to around $6/month trying to get subs. 2) Paywalling NFL games isn't going to compensate for $5 billion already lost. The move generated loads of bad PR and negative 'brand image.' 3) Every NBC/Comcast dollar lost means the spectre of unemployment inches closer. They've already cut their golf coverage down to the bare bones. But we want to see Joy Reid, Joe & Mika, Chris Hayes and other MSNBC hacks sacked. Their dismal ratings certainly justify it now. Maddow got smart and took a fat contract when it was offered. The problem is a) Cable news is cheap to produce. It's Wayne's World-level stupid with a load of lefties screaming into the camera at each other and b) It's a propaganda organ. NBC loves being tight with the powerful and the powerful love to have the cover of a 'free press' carrying government diktats.

Hollywood had grown accustomed to selling garbage for such a long time that the demand for real entertainment is taking them by surprise. The new programming lineup of both cable and streaming services is so gaudy and obnoxious that even a caveman would turn it off.

I had dropped all sports viewing except for golf but now that they have been bitten by the diversity and inclusion bug, they are very close to the chopping block. They can get away with packing team sports but golf is based solely on individual talent and much harder to insert affirmative action into, although they are trying.

Content, content, content. Put up a steady stream of dark, depressing, negative content filled with "values" that are NOT American with nothing redeeming about any of it, and people who initially checked in with you will eventually leave. And at that point there is no getting them back. It's dogfood, the American people know it, and we ain't eatin' it.

A sizable majority of the public supports Texas’s construction of a wall along its border with Mexico and feels that President Joe Biden’s efforts to stop it are the first step toward civil war. In a sobering analysis of the escalating topic, 69% of likely 2024 voters said that they support the border wall and razor-wire fence that Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) has ordered. Among those, a majority, 51%, said they “strongly” back Texas in its fight to stop illegal immigration and the surge of “gotaways” getting past federal border agents.

The photo, which shows Biden wearing (a) hard hat backwards, was included in the Snopes article that first called the story false.
