Republican Gov. Brian Kemp (GA) opposes launching a criminal probe into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, instead preferring an oversight committee investigation that would slow-walk accountability, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) exclusively told Breitbart News. Kemp and Georgia Attorney General Christopher Carr are seeking to use the state’s oversight committee to investigate Willis for her alleged improper relationship with a top prosecutor in their case against former President Donald Trump, according to Greene. The committee operates like a disciplinary commission with the power to remove county prosecutors from public office.

A Pennsylvania school board on Thursday voted to restore the Native American warrior head logo that had been part of the district’s tradition until it was wiped away in 2021.
The Southern York County School District board voted 7-2 to bring back the warrior symbol after intense debate on the issue, according to WGAL-TV in Lancaster.
Douglas Brent, a parent whose children are high school students, was among those who spoke in support of restoring the logo.
“Nobody was trying to be demeaning to the local Indian tribes that were here,” he said.

Washington Democrats are attempting to pass legislation that would allow felons, including serial killers, to vote, serve on a jury and even run for office while incarcerated.
House Bill 2030 is sponsored by Dem. Rep Tarra Simmons, an ex-convict who was sentenced to 30 months in prison in 2011 for theft, drug, and firearm crimes. The former convict was previously successful in restoring voting rights to convicted felons after their release.
During a hearing on the bill, Republican Rep. Sam Low asked Simmons regarding the Green River Killer, “Would Gary Ridgway's rights be restored with this bill?
Simmons replied, “Yes, they would.”

The Georgia Senate is set this week to authorize a subpoena-powered investigative committee to probe the alleged corruption of Fani Willis, Fulton County’s district attorney, Breitbart News exclusively learned Monday.
The potential committee is significant because Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) refused to launch a criminal investigation into Willis last week, citing the need for a currently non-operational oversight committee to open the probe.
The proposed Georgia Senate committee could hold subpoena power as soon as later this week to “secure the attendance of witnesses or the production of documents and materials” related to Willis, according to a resolution put forth by Georgia state Sen. Greg Dolezal (R-Forsyth).
