Why The Sudden Media Interest In The Biden
Border Crisis?

Original Article

After spending three years largely ignoring the border, the mainstream press is suddenly all over it, with headlines blaring about a “surge,” “crisis” and “call for action.” Why now? Last week CNN reported that a “December migrant surge” at the southern border was the “largest in more than two decades.” Several other news outlets used similar language. The New York Times warned that “surging” Mexico border crossings “push U.S. resources to the brink.” In another story, CNN even described the situation as a “crisis.” Weirdly, the press is even exaggerating the current “surge.” Consider that CNN story, which says:

My guess. They are trying to establish a narrative before the election. Watch Biden suddenly 'fix' the border. Or maybe they are setting up a narrative where the border is moved since we aren't defending the current one.

It could all be about drumming up pressure to give Joey the huge amount of money he is demanding so he doesn't have to go through the shame of a government shutdown again. Here's a thought, Joe, a small fraction of the money you want to gift wrap and send to Ukraine would complete the entire border wall and stop the flow at the border completely but remember, your checks from President Obrador will also stop.

$$$$ - that's why. Unless we want to double our national debt (to $68T from our current $34T), there's only so much pie that can be divvied up. Our new illegal alien friends coming across the border are cutting into the pie - free housing, phones, food, medical care, schooling, incarceration, etc. Those here already receiving their cut are feeling the pinch from having jobs taken away, neighborhoods overwhelmed, schools over crowded, etc.. The press and democrats in general have a traditional role in making sure Americans who are 'down trodden' get their fair share. Look at Biden's poll results amongst minority groups. They're the lowest in years.

First of all, we have to understand that the Demmunists are not at all interested in securing the border. This is all for show. In a similar manner, Joe has been quietly increasing domestic drilling so that increased crude oil supplies will bring gas prices down. Border security and gas prices are two of Joe's most vulnerable points. If he can appear to solve these just before the election, that and the usual amount of cheating may squeak him through again. Just don't expect those "solutions" to last once the votes are counted.

Perhaps our negligent MSM is getting nervous about what Biden's "invitees" have in store for American communities. They've done a lousy job of telling Americans about the millions of illegal aliens gaming our system since Biden opened our borders and INVITED them in. It won't look good for the alphabet media if terrorist-organized attacks take place, and millions of Americans belatedly realize their trusted news sources failed to warn them of the extent and very real dangers of illegal immigration to our national security.

With news stories regularly highlighting widespread anger among voters, we asked the following question for our December national online poll, taken from Nov. 29-Dec. 1 by 1,464 adult registered voters: “Which of the following best describes how you feel about the federal government?” Respondents were then given four possible responses: “satisfied,” “frustrated,” “angry,” and “not sure.”

For decades, Americans have been told that the only humane, decent health care system is one run by the government. The oft-uttered complaint is that it’s a shame that the richest country in the world doesn’t have universal medical care. The reality is that the universal systems in other wealthy nations are cruel, cold bureaucracies. If there are any doubts that this is true, look northward, to Canada, where waiting lists for treatment are leaving “patients frozen in line,” Pacific Research Institute President and Chief Executive Officer Sally Pipes recently wrote in Forbes. “When everyone within a country is trapped in a public health insurance system,”

The Golden State’s leftist Democrat-dominated legislature loves to grandstand as a champion of the downtrodden and the working poor, even if the policies they enact end up hurting those people the most. That’s certainly the case with the state’s minimum wage hike, which is set to hit in 2024. The state will raise its overall mandated minimum-wage rate from $16 an hour to $16.50 an hour overall, starting in 2024. But some industries will get an even bigger wage shock: fast-food minimum wages go up to $20 an hour starting in April. Meanwhile, workers in the health care industry will
