The Biden administration is providing $162 million to Microchip Technology to support the domestic production of computer chips — the second funding announcement tied to a 2022 law designed to revive U.S. semiconductor manufacturing. The incentives announced Thursday include $90 million to improve a plant in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and $72 million to expand a factory in Gresham, Oregon, the Commerce Department said. The investments would enable Microchip Technology Inc., which is based in Chandler, Arizona, to triple its domestic production and reduce its dependence on foreign factories.

This is exactly what we need - - a five-year plan promulgated by the Central Committee. All of the country's resources must flow to the Central Committee - - under the supervision of the Politburo - - and the Central Committee will determine how to dish out the goodies. What cpuld possibly go wrong? And thank you Poster #3 - - for restoring this thread to some common sense.

And what will the govt funded microchips be used for? Will they become part of the new automobile kill switch? Also, why do we taxpayers have to fund a private company? If US made microchips are in such demand, one would think the company could easily secure a bank loan or raise capital from issuing stock to pay for seed money. This Govt/Business Industrial Complex is out of control. This is but one method members in Congress become millionaires on a $174K yearly salary.

Trump had all kinds of policies that resulted in production being moved back into the US. It was going to take years/decades to undo the damage his predecessors had done but at least he started. But this direct subsidy approach is just going to be a money laundering scheme for the Dems as it always is.

I don’t write much about the myriad of sick and twisted stories that surround Jeffrey Epstein, because everything in that rabbit hole is a matrix of perversion and manipulation by sick people, sick government officials, and blackmail material in a world of darkness and evil. Additionally, all of the previous claims about Donald Trump being associated with that perverse industry and assembly are false {Citation Here}. However, I can understand how the merge of exploitation, sex trafficking of young women, sexual blackmail and politics can hold ramifications for our current state of affairs.

Dozens of high-profile names — including royalty, politicians and famous scientists — appeared in an avalanche of previously sealed court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein that were released late Wednesday. The trove of papers filed in Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre’s 2015 defamation suit against the dead sex offender’s “madam” Ghislaine Maxwell included references to Prince Andrew, former President Bill Clinton and Stephen Hawking, among other major figures. The lengthy list of boldface names paints a troubling picture of Epstein’s double life as an ace financier who used his wealth and connections to victimize dozens of young women.

Jeffrey Epstein once said that former President Bill Clinton “likes them young,” a victim of the dead sex offender testified in a deposition unsealed Wednesday — part of a trove of long-sealed court documents that began to be made public. The files, which name more than 170 Epstein associates — such as Clinton, former President Donald Trump and Prince Andrew — were ordered released by Manhattan federal Judge Loretta Preska last month and contain a gross accusation of inappropriate touching by the disgraced British royal. They were filed in a since-settled defamation lawsuit that Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre brought against the late sicko’s madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2015.

We are about to embark on what might be one of the wildest years in the history of American politics, and it may end up merely a prelude. If 2024 is set to be tumultuous and unpredictable, just wait until 2025 if Donald Trump wins the presidency again this year. His adversaries don’t have a history of accepting his victories with equanimity. Trump’s unexpected victory in 2016 launched conspiracy theories about how Russia had helped him win; catalyzed a years-long law enforcement investigation into him and his campaign based on those theories; and set off protests in the streets. All that was mild, given what may yet be in the offing.

We have become a nation of Madame Defarges — eagerly knitting names of those to be subject to arbitrary justice. Former congressional candidate Gene Stilp, who’s made headlines by burning MAGA flags with swastikas outside courthouses, filed the challenge. Using the 14th Amendment to disqualify candidates like Perry is consistent with Stilp’s signature flag-burning stunts.
