In a compelling development stemming from an FBI raid conducted last year, a portion of the gold bars found in the residence of embattled Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) have been identified as those stolen in a high-profile 2013 robbery.
In September, Sen. Bob Menendez, the senior U.S. Senator from New Jersey and the former Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and his wife, Nadine Menendez, were indicted on bribery and corruption charges.
In October, Bob Menendez was charged with acting as a foreign agent in a superseding indictment.
Bob Menendez and his wife are under investigation for their involvement in a bribery scheme from 2018 to 2022.

Now he has to produce receipts of buying the bars because if he bought them below spot value, he was KNOWINGLY receiving stolen goods, so by showing the receipts you can PROVE us wrong. What say you, Bobby?

Any bets he won’t follow Santos out the door? Dems have a pretty big rug to sweep their crap under.

The contraband stashed in Menendez’ house was discovered during a June 2022 FBI raid. This raid was apparently not publicized by the Stasi, as opposed to the bureau’s tipoff to CNN before FBI agents stormed Roger Stone’s house. This is another example of two standards of ‘just us’ at the politically weaponized FBI. I fear this government. The Biden administration is capable of anything.

He is a democrat so I guess we can add being in possession of stolen goods to the list of crimes he will never be convicted of.

Well, this is rich. We can guess how someone on a senators salary can afford to acquire that much gold. Perhaps the gold is a form of hush money to keep the Epstein client list under wraps?

Now, now, poster #7, that's pretty insulting to Gert Frobe, not to mention the villainous character!

I would have to say “Senator Gold Member.”
Of course, who trusts the Stasi regarding anything? I could imagine that the stolen property angle was created in order to have a bigger stick to hit him with in case he didn’t otherwise want to play along with the script.
We are all curious when the Department of JustUs moves to prosecute a Dim.

If only he'd had the word "Loan" etched on top of the bars, there would be no problem, as long as they remembered to do the letters in English rather than Chinese.

Inflation strikes corrupt Joisey senators.
Torricelli was bounced because he took Rolex watches as bribes. But Bidenomics inflation compels the latest Joisey bribee to up the tab to gold bars. The next corrupt Joisey senator will probably insist on Taylor Swift concert tickets.
As always - - crooks love Joisey - - and Joisey loves crooks.

Who did Menendez tick off? What did he do? Great example of how Washington is full of thieves and criminals. Menendez lost his 'protection'.

Democrat politician from a Blue State. What do you think is going to happen? If it is brought up against him in the next campaign his opponent will be accused of racism.

Only question I have is what did Menendez do that warranted the dims to go after him? Accepting bribes is not a problem but is a qualification, so what did he do?

To answer the OP's question, Senator Fettervegetable, to his credit, has called for Mendacious to be expelled from the Senate a la George Santos.
