As President Trump continues to dominate the 2024 GOP presidential primaries, attention has turned to who he will pick as his running mate. Now, we have a list of names Trump and his team are reportedly considering, but a potential wild card lurks.
On Thursday, Axios published an extensive piece detailing the potential makeup of a Trump Cabinet in a second term. The 45th President and his team’s primary focus is ensuring all positions in government will be filled with people loyal to the America-first agenda and Trump.
As Gateway Pundit readers know, Trump’s first term was marred by disloyal RINOs and globalists seeking to sabotage him at every turn.

Not believing anything that I see from Axios. And, the only one on this list who makes any sense to me is Kristi Noem. We need to keep Vance in the Senate...every seat is VALUABLE!

The article states, "Trump’s first term was marred by disloyal RINOs and globalists seeking to sabotage him at every turn."
Very true. It's been linked to the person in charge of selecting people for Trump to pick from. Has Trump learned his lesson?

All I know is it won't be Chris Christie. PT doesn't need or want my choice. But I'd pick Ron DeSantis. He has been a very good governor and has principles close to PT's. In addition he is the only veteran running for POTUS.

My first choice - Ron DeSantis, the incredibly effective governor of Florida.
Second - I’m with Melania: Tucker Carlson
Third - Tyrus, the insightful member of the Gutfeld show.
Next year is going to be brutal for Trump, with massive attacks on his character but never on his actual record as president. Ron, Tucker and Tyrus could do much to correct the Biden/media lies about Trump and his abilities.

Unless Pres Trump relocates to another state, DeSantis or Donalds is out. One of the early amendments (after the 10 in the Bill of Rights) prohibits Electoral College electors from voting for a Pres and VP from the same state.
In 2000, Dick Cheney "moved" his residency from Texas back to Wyoming to run as VP with Bush43.

I know one thing. It won’t be DeSantis. He himself blew that opportunity all by himself. Trump MUST have a VP this time who is at the least trustworthy. Ron has tremendous gifts and talents and proved it as Florida’s Governor.
Trustworthiness is not one of them.
I too take a lot of this as more musings from Axios. Hey, when you have a deadline, ya gotta write somethin’!! However, I am for Tucker Carlson. He is bold and not another government creature lusting after the WH.

Noem or Sanders wouldn't be a bad choice; however, I don't think Sanders would be willing to give up on her governorship so soon. Tucker has said he's not interested in running for anything, and why would he. While he's not on any network, he's doing what he wants to do, and doing it on his own terms. That kind of freedom allows him to speak his mind on subjects that he finds important to him. That's something he could never do in a political position.

Anyone but media darling and power-hungry establishment RINO Nikki. I absolutely will not vote for him if he picks a female running mate. All you have to do is look around the country and all the trouble is caused by females. Won't vote Democrat. Just won't vote.

Oh, please, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, women! Please, no women! That’s a death knell to many staunch female MAGA supporters who echo the recent commentary by one of this salon’s most highly esteemed Ldotters and supported by another admired Ldotter regarding female leadership in roles mostly held by men having an impact on this country’s decline and “have created chaos and confusion and do not represent the majority of women.” Over time, the observation of such female leadership has shown them to be “smug and condescending and are doing great harm to this country.” That their leadership at institutions of higher learning “has taken on a very feminine quality. ... Where are the men in this country?” Why have “harpy, nasty Leftists women” been permitted to lead universities?
In God’s infinite wisdom, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God excepted women from becoming pastors; God “gifted men and women with different responsibilities and duties. Men have the divine obligation to be the spiritual leaders of the church. Women are called to be of assistance to men in this capacity.” Jesus did not call any women to serve as apostles. Scripture teaches women are not to become pastors. It is a command of the Lord. Why? “We must leave the answers to these questions to God.” People of faith “remain with what has been given to us by God in His Word.”
Throughout history there have been a few exceptional women who have been heads of state but at this point in time, with the world on the brink of nuclear annihilation and this country’s dire domestic problems, the most prudent and reverential adherence to the wisdom of God is of utmost urgency—no women in the office of President, Vice president, or members of the Cabinet. As noted by one of the appreciated Ldotters, “Remember it was Eve not Adam that was deceived by the Serpent.”

President Trump needs a ruthless enforcer VP who will work with his AG to root out and destroy any potential leakers & backstabbers. A Spiro Agnew without the fraud baggage. The President probably needs to have his own private bodyguards and an investigative team to dig up dirt on his enemies in the DOJ, NSA, CIA, FBI, and the Deep State in general. Heads must roll - lots of them. People like Strzok & Page, Comey, Wray need to wish they had never been born. That is the VP's job.

Like Noem, but name recognition isn't there. For entertainment value: Sen. John Kennedy (LA). No one has mentioned Ben Carson; seems his name HAS come up (very loyal to "The Donald").
Must be a place in cabinet for Josh Hawley...as well as Marsha Blackburn (TN) and Rand Paul.
Trump is always full of surprises...he just might choose DeSantis, as many say Trump (in a second term) will be a lame duck. Agree with #17, VP must be a ruthless enforcer...to get rid of those who show signs of disloyalty!
