The highest number of illegal immigrants in a single day crossed onto U.S. soil on Tuesday. More than 12,000 crossed the border that day. In an interview Wednesday, DHS Secretary Mayorkas claimed that the border security measures congressional Republicans want to put into a foreign aid bill are “violence to our fundamental values.” What are these security measures that are so offensive to the man who lies that the southern border is closed and secured? "We agree with the district court that some aspects of Mr. Trump’s public statements pose a significant and imminent threat to the fair and orderly adjudication of the ongoing criminal proceeding, warranting a speech-constraining protective order," the appeals court ruled. A man arrested in connection with shots that were fired outside a synagogue in Albany, New York, on Thursday has been federally charged, officials said.
