The former police officer who was convicted of killing George Floyd was stabbed in prison, the state's top law enforcement official said.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison told news outlets that he was informed that Derek Chauvin was stabbed.
Mr. Ellison, a Democrat who prosecuted Mr. Chauvin, said that Mr. Chauvin was in stable condition.
"I am sad to hear that Derek Chauvin was the target of violence," Mr. Ellison said. "He was duly convicted of his crimes and, like any incarcerated individual, he should be able to serve his sentence without fear of retaliation or violence."

A purely political imprisonment, don't think the man was guilty.

No way was he guilty.
George Floyd was dead the instant he swallowed the Fentanyl Chauvin was prosecuted to keep the knee grows from rioting, and he rots in jail for being a white police officer.

I can't wait to watch The Fall of Minneapolis. Sounds truly damning. It is so sobering to realize how, historically, so many men have been put under the plow to serve a narrative. God bless the innocent, black or white.

Chauvin was convicted by the 21st century version of a lynch mob.

Every police officer in Mpls/St. Paul should tender his resignation by tomorrow morning.
Chauvin's fate is their fate too if they stay on that hellhole with crooks in power at every level.
Let that city drown in its own sewage and give the voters what they voted for...chaos.

Politically railroaded. Shame on Ellison to call it “duly convicted”.

Yes, OP. This was a BLM hit job. From the get-go. This poor man. One of many to be tortured by the left and its kangaroo judicial system.

When President Trump pardons him, soon after the next election, Chauvin is going to get one hellava huge compensation for his suffering.

this persecution of Chauvin is the most biased and politically engineered legal action taken against anyone not known as Donald J. Trump but the unfortunate thing is .... Chauvin has very few, if any, people in his corner to vouch for him and give him any support
- this guy is a sitting duck in prison and,
- if he recovers from this attack there will be more because
- people like Maxine Waters, James Clyburn, Al Sharpton and many, many others are calling for his blood, among the radical blacks
- who consider their political agenda more important than the evidence in this instance

#9, Chauvin was convicted in a state court, so the only person who can pardon him is the governor of Minnesota. The current governor would never do it.

The only crime committed was when four police officers were arrested for doing their jobs and railroaded by a racist judge, jury and lawyers. The perpetually unhappy class was just waiting for a black martyr to die and begin the rioting, burning and mayhem that still continues. When the pendulum begins to swing the other way, there are going to be a lot of sorry people out there.

And our supposedly conservative leaning Supreme Court turned down his appeal to review his conviction.

I'm sure Keith Ellison was hoping for a more drastic result of the stabbing. I don't believe this conciliatory tone. Keith Ellison is a snake.

The number two inmate criminals love to target in prison are convicted cops. Number one are pedophiles. That's why both are no put with the general population. So, I ask why Chauvin wasn't put in such a category? I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it looks like that woman beating dirtbag Ellison wants something to happen to him. No wonder that racist dimwit is a George Kirby Floyd apologist. As a terrorizer of women both have something in common. Chauvin was sacrificed to satisfy the racist cop hating lynch Mogadishu-apolis lynch mob lead by race hustlers Al Sharpton and Ben Crump. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery and can formulate a legal plan to get himself out of the pokey.
