The influential network associated with billionaire Charles Koch will throw its money and influence behind former South Caroline Gov. Nikki Haley in the Republican presidential primary, the group announced Tuesday. The decision could dramatically reshape the Republican field – roughly seven weeks before the Iowa caucuses – as Americans for Prosperity Action deploys its vast resources and standing army of conservative activists on behalf of the former South Carolina governor. The endorsement marks the latest sign that powerful Republican donors are coalescing behind the candidacy of the former US ambassador to the United Nations. She has seen prominent figures join her campaign in recent weeks, particularly after

She will have Mitt Romney's support! Still thinking about that article where Romney said he could support any candidate other than Trump and Ramaswamy. Basically, Romney is saying the big money that controls Washington already has control of all the other candidates. That big money includes the Koch boys.

More nitwitery from the oligarchs. Haley is Bush41 in a skirt. She is a proven liar. Besides anyone that's paying attention knows Trump won the nomination several months ago. It will be confirmed on or by Super Tuesday. Yes, it's time for a new chapter, but the voters want Trump and his record as President qualifies him for a second term. Unlike Haley, DeSantis has an outstanding record as governor, but this is not his time and Florida voters want Trump for President and want him to stay as their governor. It's time to recognize the nomination is settled and move into the general election campaign, starting with ballot security.

JERUSALEM — Israel and Hamas on Thursday agreed to extend a temporary truce by another day minutes before it was set to expire, said Qatar, which has been mediating between the two sides. Negotiations on extending it came down to the wire, with last-minute disagreements over the hostages to be freed by Hamas in exchange for another day of a halt in fighting. Word of the extension came just as the truce was to expire at 7 a.m. (0500 GMT) Thursday. The Qatari Foreign Ministry said the truce was being extended under the same terms as in the past, under which Hamas has released 10 Israeli hostages per day in exchange

Republicans pushing for Joe Biden's impeachment publicized an email from a bank investigator who was alarmed by 'unusual' and 'erratic' activity in Hunter Biden's financial transactions with a Chinese company. The money from the flagged transactions then trickled down to Joe Biden in the form of a $40,000 'loan repayment' check from James and Sara Biden in 2017, say Republicans. According to bank records obtained by Republicans, a money trail started with a $5 million payment from Chinese oil giant CEFC, a Hunter venture, through several Biden-connected entities and resulted in the $40,000 deposit into Joe's account. The Bank Secrecy Act manager wrote in a bombshell June 2018 email released Wednesday

General Motors (GM) will slash spending in its self-driving car unit Cruise, after an accident last month seriously injured a pedestrian and prompted regulators to retract its operating permit for driverless cars in San Francisco. The company will “substantially lower” its spending on Cruise next year, according to Mary Barra, GM’s CEO. “We expect the pace of Cruise’s expansion to be more deliberate when operations resume,” she said in a letter to shareholders. On an investor call, chief financial officer, Paul Jacobson, said that he expected spending to fall by “hundreds of millions of dollars” in 2024. Until the accident, Cruise had been operating driverless taxis in three

A Big Mac burger, a medium beverage, and a medium fry meal now costs 18 dollars in some locations, up $10 from 2018 when former President Donald Trump was president. The skyrocketing costs could impact the 2024 election, as the soaring inflation under President Joe Biden reflects poorly on his economic plan of so-called “Bidenomics.” The Big Mac Value Meal’s price increase is just one example of continued inflation, the New York Post’s editorial board reported: Those [“President Biden’s terrible economic policies”] have driven prices overall about 15% higher since Biden came in; on essentials like food and energy, they’re up closer to 25%.
