Biden Is a One-Term President

Original Article

There are so many murmurs about replacing Joe Biden as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee that a more central question can get sidelined: what are his chances of winning a second term if he is not removed from the ballot? Democrats are in a singularly unenviable position, eyeing a troubled nation led by a president in obvious decline, with no alternative nominee in sight. Everyone is free to mull some scheme featuring Gavin Newsom riding to the rescue, or the spectacle of Michelle Obama lowered from the rafters at the Chicago convention to accept the anointing of delegates filled with joyful relief.

If we're lucky his wires will short circuit about 6 months shy of full term, and Kamamala can give a windowed demonstration of why we should not vote for democrats for another generation or so.

Biden is a momentous disaster for America and the free world. The following opinion on his re election is insane and far from the truth: : “Joe Biden should not be re elected because he is too old.” No! He should not be re elected because he is a fool and too stupid and clueless. He has led our country down a very dangerous path, and he seems oblivious to it - or he doesn’t care. It will take years and years to re establish our strength and good standing among the people of the world who value freedom.

Biden didn't win anything, he was fitted with strings and installed. If the democrats had an acceptable backup, he would be gone already but the second string waiting in the wings are all equally detestable. Hillary will give it another shot, what does she have left to lose? I would imagine that Barack and Mooch are having heated discussions behind the scenes, Newsom is waiting to be asked and Kamala is rounding up lawyers. Don't dismiss Whitmer and Hochul and Stacey Abrams may swim back into the arena.

When they first stole the election, my thought was that The HairSniffer would hang on just long enough so that when Heels-Up took over, she would have less than half a term to go. That way, assuming the 'Rats can continue to steal elections, she could run for two complete terms after replacing The HairSnoffer. Of course, that whole idea collapsed when we saw how spectacularly incompetent she turned out to be. What the 'Rats are going to do now, I have no idea.

Gearing Up for ‘Biden’ Versus Trump:
Not If, But When and How to Replace Biden

President Joe Biden is declining at a geometric, not an arithmetic, rate. His cognitive challenges are multifaceted. His gait is shaky. His daily use of stairs now risks the chance of a tenure-ending fall. Even when he sticks to the teleprompter, he so slurs his speech, mispronounces words, and glides his syntax that at times he becomes as incomprehensible at the podium as he is unsteady in his step. He now speaks a strange language foreign and untranslatable to most Americans. White House transcribers leave hiatuses in their written texts of his remarks to reflect that they either have no idea what he said, do not wish to publicize their guesses

A potential helium reservoir was discovered in Minnesota last week, when drillers bored deep beneath the forest floor of the state’s Iron Range as supplies of the noble gas dwindle in the U.S. Pulsar Helium Inc., a Canadian-based company, announced in a news release on Thursday that its team encountered gases with concentrations of up to 12.4% helium when its drilling rig reached a total depth of 2,200 at the Topaz Project drill site. Helium concentrations above 0.3% are considered economically viable. Thomas Abraham-James, Pulsar’s president and CEO, said he is "delighted" about the "outstanding result."

We can bear neither our diseases nor their remedies." So shrugged the ancient historian Livy (59 B.C.-17 A.D.) of the long decline of Roman national character that, in his age, finally ended the Roman Republic. Like a patient whose medicine proves worse than the disease, Livy lamented that the Romans knew that they had become corrupt and lawless. But the very contemplation of the hard medicine needed for restoration -- and the furious reaction that would meet the remedy -- made it impossible to save the patient. America is nearing such an impasse.

From his own plagiarism scandal to his brother’s role in killing a man to his son’s various federal crimes, Bidens have long been a wonder in Washington. In 1892, Lord Alfred Bruce Douglas, Oscar Wilde's lover, wrote a poem called "Two Loves" which referred euphemistically to "the love that dare not speak its name." At that time, homosexuals were expected to keep their sexual orientation and relationships secret. In 1986, Norman Podhoretz published a groundbreaking essay in Commentary Magazine called "The Hate That Dare Not Speak Its Name," which put the subject of antisemitism in American journalism on the public radar. Now it's time for America to confront the Abuse That Dare Not Speak Its Name: elder abuse. And the victim is none other than President Joe Biden.

Last week Republicans lost one of their precious seats in the House of Representatives reducing their slim majority to near invisibility. Interestingly, this did not have to happen. The vacancy giving rise to the special election in New York 3, was intentionally created by the Republicans themselves. A cynic might say with opponents like these, the Democrats can stroll through their victory lap. An influential group of Republican congressmen, including the Republican Chair of the House Ethics Committee, decided the behavior, or misbehavior, of their erstwhile colleague, George Santos, was unworthy of a Republican Congressman.

This week all eyes were on the Willis-Wade fiasco in Fulton County, Georgia, but three less smuttily scintillating cases seem at last to be limiting the overreach of the Department of Justice respecting the J6 defendants and Jack Smith’s persecution of President Donald Trump. In interpreting criminal statutes, it seems to me that Courts should not be creative and expansively read into them things that the legislature which writes the laws did not clearly proscribe as illegal, and it appears that finally, courts higher than the highly partisan D.C. Circuit judges understand that.

Any rational person familiar with the behavior of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis during the prosecutorial misconduct hearings that finally ended last Friday has probably concluded that her conduct has created the “appearance of impropriety.” This, according to defense lawyers for former President Trump and several co-defendants, is sufficient to disqualify Willis and the Fulton County DA’s office from prosecuting the RICO case they launched last August. Indeed, defense attorney Harry MacDougald cited six examples of actual conflicts of interest, any one of which is sufficient to disqualify Willis and her office. Yet it’s unlikely that it will happen.
