One of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims has died of an apparent accidental overdose, but her mother wants police to dig deeper.

(snip) Andriano’s mother, Dorothy Groenert, said her daughter “was ecstatic” before her death. “She was all set up for a whole new lifestyle.” (snip)

Iran has made a significant move to back away from the threat of war with Israel, which it made only Saturday. (snip) After meeting with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in his palatial five-star digs (snip) far from the front lines in Qatar, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian revised his extended comments by way of a statement by Iran's United Nations mission to clarify that Hamas was on its own. “Iran’s armed forces will not engage, provided that the Israeli apartheid does not dare to attack Iran, its interests, and nationals. The resistance front can defend itself,”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) promoted propaganda over the weekend that falsely portrayed children as having died from Israeli military operations when, in reality, they died a decade ago from fighting in Syria. (snip)
“CHILD GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE,” the post, which included a photo of dead children, claimed. “614 Palestinian children murdered by the Israeli IOF Forces.”
Omar then shared the false claim to her nearly three million followers on X.
The reality is that the photo is from an August 2013 article in National Geographic and it shows children in Damascus, Syria, “shortly after they succumbed to chemical weapon poisoning.”

The main Associated Press reporter in Gaza covering the war was suspended from his duties while the wire service looks into his previous social media posts, which include comments calling for the "fall" of Israel and comparing the world's only Jewish state to Nazis.
Issam Adwan has made numerous comments against Israel, which were highlighted last week by Honest Reporting, an Israel media watchdog.
In an October 2022 post on X, formerly Twitter, Adwan said that Israel was a "racist regime that is so similar to the Nazis." The post has since been deleted.

In a late-Friday post on X (formerly Twitter), Lake slammed her competitor, incumbent Arizona Democrat Rep. Maybe you should sit this one out,” Lake responded. (snip) Lake’s response was in reference to Gallego’s divorce from his wife of six years in 2016.

North Carolina Republicans in the state legislature overrode Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s vetoes on two election integrity bills, passing the bills into law. (snip)
In August, when Cooper vetoed the bills, he claimed that Republicans were being racist with passing SB 747, saying, “If you are black or brown, Republicans really don’t want you to vote.”
House Speaker Tim Moore said Cooper was “mischaracterizing a bill that simply strengthens election integrity in North Carolina.”

Israelis have razed a Palestinian pizzeria to the ground after it used a picture of a kidnapped grandmother in a mocking advert. A bulldozer could be seen ramming into the building and pulling it apart while reversing in a video recorded in the West Bank town of Huwara.
The order to destroy the pizzeria was given by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) central command.
The advert appeared to mock an elderly woman kidnapped by terrorists a week ago during Hamas's attack on Israel, showing an image of her next to a photo of a pizza.

Cindy Flash — a 67-year-old Minnesota native — and her 66-year-old husband, Igal Flash, were among more than 1,300 people murdered by Saturday’s brutal Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.
Flash’s family described her as a “staunch advocate for the rights of Palestinians” and an outspoken opponent of Israeli military action.
Cindy Flash hailed from St. Paul, Minnesota, while Igal Flash was the son of Holocaust survivors and an Israeli citizen. She relocated to the Kfar Aza kibbutz in southern Israel many years ago after visiting as a college student. (snip) One of Cindy’s last messages to her daughter presaged her fate: “They are breaking down the safe room door.”
