Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida found himself being celebrated by Joe Biden on Thursday night. Halfway through the Republican Presidential Primary Debate hosted by Fox Business and Univision, Joe Biden tweeted out “Couldn’t agree more” to a video clip of Ron DeSantis. In the clip, Ron DeSantis took a shot at Trump and stated “Donald Trump is missing in action tonight. He should be on this stage.” DeSantis continued “He owes it to you to defend his record where they added 7.8 trillion to the debt. That set the stage for the inflation that we have now.”

Yeah, and if Biden and DeSantis were the eventual nominees, Biden would savage DeSantis. Biden would not even remember he “expressed support.”

Joe Biden put out a tweet? Was it coherent? His staff did it. The last two years has taught me the government is broken beyond repair, and likely the country as well. I do not expect Trump to fix anything. The powers that control Washington won't let him. I looked for an alternative, but there wasn't any. That leaves the corrupt senile fool we have for a President. A vote for him is a vote to grease the rails and crash the country faster. That might be the best thing that can happen. The country is too divided to fix anything. People need to be on the same page to do that.

That's because DeSantis is the "establishment" candidate. He is John McCain without the lisp. He is Romney without the hair. Of course democrats want him. For one, they know he'd never get elected. He's a RINO. Why vote for him when you can vote for a Democrat. And if by chance he did get elected, he'd be owned. I know I'd not vote for him. Even the, "voting third party or not voting at all is the same as voting for Biden" wouldn't sway me one bit.

Joe Biden didn't "tweet" anything. He was in lah-lah land drugged up and in bed. His lackys control his social media accounts. Who does not know this? As for Ron, his job now (along with almost all the "candidates') is just to wound President Trump to assure there is ample reason for the public to believe PDJT "didn't win again" when they invariably cheat once more.

The United States House of Representatives has approved an additional $300 million aid for Ukraine. The decision came late Thursday night with a 311-117 vote. The aid for Ukraine was initially part of a larger Pentagon funding bill for the fiscal year 2024. House GOP leaders, including Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), had initially planned to hold a separate vote on the Ukraine aid. The decision to separate the aid came after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and a group of conservative Republicans sank a procedural vote to advance the Pentagon funding bill, The Hill reported.

Higher gasoline prices forced Americans to spend more in August and pushed up the Federal Reserve’s main measure of inflation, providing more evidence that the path to lower inflation is unlikely to be a smooth one. The personal consumption expenditure price index, which the Fed uses in its official inflation target of two percent and the publicly released projections of policymakers, rose by 0.4 percent, twice the pace of the prior month. The increase was in line with economist expectations. Higher energy costs were the driver of inflation in August. Core prices, which exclude food and energy, rose by a more moderate 0.1 percent in August.
