‘Unwatchable’: Viewers Blast RNC,
Fox for Including Univision in Debate

Viewers of the second Republican National Committee (RNC) debate blasted the RNC as well as Fox News for including Univision as a partner in the event. The debate kicked off with Univision anchor Ilia Calderón opening up the debate by speaking Spanish, telling viewers that the candidates are trying to win them over. “Please allow me to welcome our Spanish speaking audience,” Calderón said, stating in Spanish, “A good evening to all. From the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the Republican presidential candidates also seek your vote for the party’s primaries. Welcome.” But the irritation of the inclusion of Univision only grew throughout the night, as moderators asked about “gun violence,”

It took me awhile to understand her question because her accent is so thick. Then after I understood what was being asked, I found the question so offensive I felt it didn’t deserve an answer. I am so glad that President Trump had the good sense not to be drawn into this debacle. I felt sorry for the candidates that showed up and had to put up with her crap. They showed a lot of class. Myself… I would have walked off the stage.

it was hard to watch - honestly moderators like Dana don't have gravitas to control so many participants. i never did get the shape of the format - just seemed to be random questions fired without linkage. Ms Univision was impossible to understand which was a blessing. we saw more snark - really, Nikki? and the usual Christie "GetTrump" bullying. i thought Burgum did himself some good, injecting himself into issues when he could. it didn't seem there was an equitable division of questions among candidates so i see why he did it.

What ripped it for me was Dana Perino bringing up the insufficiency of government paid childcare and what could be done about it. How about collecting from all of the biological fathers who got a bang in their ying-yang and skipped on the unwed mother? Better yet, two parents at home to look after the kiddies. There was a time when only one parent had to go to work to support the family Now to pay taxes and basic expenses, both have to work.

Watched Trump’s excellent speech to the auto workers on NewsMax (thank goodness for this channel!). He was on message (“America First” and all that entails, especially pocket book and border security issues). He ignored the mediocre Fox “debate” coverage and focused on defeating Biden and “taking back our country”. He was sharp, entertaining and totally relaxed. You’d never know that he is facing a litany of phony charges totaling more than 250 years in prison if “convicted”. He totally recognizes that every time the democrats indict him, his polls get even better. It was a joy to watch!

Yes, her questions were offensive and denigrating toward the United States. BUT seriously if the candidates for the POTUS cannot handle these questions then they do not belong in the WH in any role. It is good to see how they react to liberal propaganda. Complaining that she was a moderator is on par with liberal snowflakes.

I watched Trump speaking to the auto workers on News Max. His speech and the commentary afterward were wonderful and completely on point. The RNC and the Keebler elves are not worth a minute of our time (or donation money). It doesn't sound like they covered the two most serious problems affecting the USA, especially border security and election integrity. Not surprised Dana Bushie Perino was not up to the task of moderating.

I don’t watch commercial TV, I cannot stand the couiffed, overly stage makeup and precise hair or wig or toupe, it’s all so fake/scripted and the they start talking, yikes. The clip of the botched introduction where the host is overly pumped up with his presence at “..this historical (or is it hysterical for it resembles SNL more than rational adults vying for the new leader of the free world) event”. I was glad that clip was not longer. Staged, scripted and so many as taking it in as real life, not another Netflix special. Lord grant up a true leader. And restore the integrity this country once held.

Without Trump these debates are just pathetic. None of these candidates have a prayer unless the corrupt Biden Administration can manage to knock Trump out, which they are all eagerly waiting for. The Univision shill was a terrible decision. Fox News evidently has no clue how livid people are over illegals pouring into the country. My TV was on mute through 90% of this and the few minutes I watched was irritating and a complete waste of time.

From what is known about the Univision employee Ilia Calderon, she is a native and citizen of Colombia. Since she is not a U.S. citizen and speaks very rough and sometimes unintelligible English, why was she included in that Fox run debate fiasco when there are all sorts of Hispanic or Latino U.S. citizens who could have assisted in moderating that out of control fiasco? If you watched you could see that Calderon’s politics are far left and in support of the current silent invasion of the USA by millions of illegal aliens, including a huge number of illegal aliens from Colombia and the leftist and socialist Democrat designed “comprehensive immigration reform” policies that would amount to just another massive amnesty for illegal aliens. This time for tens of millions of illegal aliens, that common sense will tell you will encourage and invite additional tens of millions of potential illegal aliens, mostly all poor and uneducated peoples from the Third World who the 101% politically partisan Biden and the leftist and socialist Democrats believe will easily be transformed, through Democrat promises of an unlimited amount of Government provided “free stuff” to constitute a massive future leftist and socialist Democrat supporting constituency population. The leftist and socialist Democrats believe that with those tens of millions of future foreign born voters in their political camp, that they will be able to throw the wimpy Republicans into political oblivion. So far all the wimpy Republicans have done to oppose this pending political disaster is to talk and write letters, and of course saying that as Republicans that must work with the Democrats to “fix” the broken U.S. Immigration laws, that are in actuality are not broken at all and are simply being misused and unenforced by the leftist and socialist Democrats to their future political favor, like transforming the USA into a permanent future leftist and socialist Democrat run USA. You have to wonder if the wimpy Republicans even have a clue?

The moderators lost control several times allowing the candidates to talk over each other. Perino kept interrupting participants which I had never seen before in debates. The Univision’s moderator’s accent was too thick but I had no trouble understanding her. I was glad many of her questions were from the left since most participants shot her premises down. The RNC needs to realize that most Latinos who are likely to vote Republican speak English. Both Scott and Ramaswamy came down hard on the anchor baby issue. I wish Trump had been there. His excuses for not doing anything on that issue, despite his promise to end it, would have been entertaining. Although the odds are that Trump will be the nominee the future can never be known. Not a bad idea to have a spare tire at the ready.

I don't mind people coming into the United States but I want it to be legal and they work hard at becoming a citizen of this country. Please have the respect for the country by learning the language, put effort into working at a job rather than getting the benefits, and speak highly of the country. A vast bipartisan majority in the House voted on Saturday for a stopgap spending bill that does not include Ukraine aid funding, a first amid America’s generous support for Ukraine’s conflict with Russia. The House passed a stopgap spending bill that keeps government spending levels, otherwise known as a continuing resolution (CR). The CR will keep the government open for 45 days. Although this will not serve as a long-term solution for government funding, the CR will not have any Ukraine aid.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy scored a shocking victory over the deep state Saturday by securing House passage of a 45-day stopgap bill to keep the government open and cut off funding for Ukraine. McCarthy’s victory seemed almost impossible as recently as this morning amid disagreements inside his own conference and a willingness among Democrats to shut down the government over Ukraine funding. Yet as it became clear that momentum for a stopgap continuing resolution, or CR, without Ukraine funding was building, panicked Democrats began utilizing delay tactics, including a long filibuster speech from Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).

After losing 1-up with Matt Fitzpatrick to Patrick Cantlay and Wyndham Clark, McIlroy angrily went after Justin Thomas’ caddie, Jim “Bones’’ Mackay, in the parking lot shortly after the match. In a last-ditch effort to keep the government funded, the House passed a clean continuing resolution to keep the government funded at current spending levels for 45 days, advancing the legislation less than 10 hours before the government is set to shut down. Lawmakers voted 335-91 on the continuing resolution, surpassing the two-thirds majority threshold needed to advance the legislation on suspension and send it to the Senate for consideration. Should it pass the upper chamber, it would then fall to President Joe Biden to make the final decision and sign it.

Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein has died at the age of 90 after a long struggle with health issues and a distinguished political career that saw her break many gender barriers. She passed away Thursday night at her Washington D.C. home, according to her office. She had voted that morning in the Senate. 'There are few women who can be called senator, chairman, mayor, wife, mom and grandmother,' her chief of staff James Sauls said in a statement. 'Senator Feinstein was a force of nature who made an incredible impact on our country and her home state.'

Army Gen. Mark Milley delivered a full-throated defense of democracy and not-so-subtle swipes at former President Donald Trump during a packed ceremony on Friday as he closed out his four, often tumultuous years as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Under cloudy skies at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Milley never mentioned the former president by name. But he practically shouted on two different occasions that the U.S. military swears to protect the Constitution 'against ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic.' 'We don't take an oath to a king or a queen or to a tyrant or a dictator. And we don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator,' he said.

Nicole Malliotakis’ office told The Post they would move to have Bowman expelled from the chamber.

The Biden administration announced its latest regulatory action targeting home appliances late Friday, this time targeting popular home gas-powered furnaces. The Department of Energy (DOE) said the energy efficiency regulations would slash household utility costs by $1.5 billion on an annual basis while reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the residential sector. The proposal, according to the agency, require non-weatherized gas furnaces and those used in mobile homes to achieve a far higher level of efficiency than cheaper models on the market. "At the direction of Congress, DOE is continuing to review and finalize energy standards for household appliances, such as

New York Democrats are planning to distribute flyers at the US-Mexico border telling illegals to “consider another city.” On Wednesday, Mayor Eric Adam’s office announced this plan to “combat misinformation at the border.” The flyers will be in both Spanish and English and will warn the illegals that New York City is the most expensive city in the world so they will be better off somewhere else. How interesting that a sanctuary city run by Democrats who have been all for illegal immigration is now troubled by the flood of illegal aliens. Leftist ideas sound compassionate coming from those Democrat leaders until it’s at their front door.

Meghan Markle is reportedly "in the running to fill Dianne Feinstein's California Senator seat" as the Duchess considers a run for office. According to a major Democratic donor close to Californian Governor Gavin Newsom, who is set to choose Feinstein's replacement, the possibility of the Duchess of Sussex running is not impossible. Although a long-shot replacement for the 90-year-old pioneer, there is speculation Meghan could serve out the remaining 13 months of Feinstein's term. A source told the Mail on Sunday: "Meghan is definitely a long-shot but in the craziness that is US politics these days it's not an impossibility.

It is finally really happening, it seems. The Democrats have dug their own grave by forcing the only true populist candidate on their ticket out of the primary and into direct competition with incumbent Joe Biden (or whichever puppet they replace the current puppet with) in the general election. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been threatening — due to maltreatment from his own party, including being viciously smeared with every pejorative under the sun — to vacate the Democrat Party plantation and plot his own third-party run as an independent. Here’s what he said a couple of weeks ago during a Forbes interview:

The death of Sen. Dianne Feinstein places Gov. Gavin Newsom under intense pressure to quickly name a replacement as a bitterly divided Congress votes on a spending plan in the coming hours to avert a government shutdown. Newsom had hoped to avoid the politically charged decision of selecting a second senator. But he will need to move swiftly as a budget standoff has the government on the verge of shutting down, and Senate Democrats could need every vote. The timing of Feinstein’s death — four months before a primary but more than a year before the end of her term

Republicans have drafted a resolution to expel Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) after he allegedly pulled a fire alarm to delay a vote on a bill to avert a government shutdown. Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) authored the resolution, which is expected to be formally filed Monday when the House is next in session. Expulsion is the most serious form of disciplinary action available to the House for its own members. Only five members have been expelled from the House in history. (X) Bowman’s alleged actions are being investigated by the House Administration Committee and the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) and elicited widespread condemnation from his Republican colleagues.
