Army Gen. Mark Milley delivered a full-throated defense of democracy and not-so-subtle swipes at former President Donald Trump during a packed ceremony on Friday as he closed out his four, often tumultuous years as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Under cloudy skies at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Milley never mentioned the former president by name. But he practically shouted on two different occasions that the U.S. military swears to protect the Constitution 'against ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic.'
'We don't take an oath to a king or a queen or to a tyrant or a dictator. And we don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator,' he said.

In addition to complete incompetence, Milley is insubordinate, and should be court marshalled.

He may have signed his own death warrant. This weenie, like so many others, had gotten so used to riding someone’s coat tails and doing the bare minimum, he couldn’t handle having an actual boss. ‘General Woke’ was suddenly expected to work and earn his salary, what gives? Only explanation; Trump’s a tyrant!

Milley wants to give the impression they are the only persons who take such an Oath, but as a Commissioner in a small City, I too took the Oath when being sworn-in. So, this is essentially every person servicing in some sort of government capacity/agency/committee/commission.
5 U.S. Code § 3331 - Oath of office
U.S. Code
An individual, except the President, elected or appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, shall take the following oath:
“I, AB (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
This section does not affect other oaths required by law.

Keep in mind that when a Democ'RAT says "Democracy" or "Our Democracy", they are NOT talking about the system of government here in the USA (which, by the way, is a Republic, as anyone knows who thinks about what they are saying, when they recite the Pledge of Allegiance). No, what they are referring to is a One Party State run by the Powers Behind the Green Curtain of the Democrat Party. The Powers that Be coerce the Party members to all act and speak in unison, the Powers select the Democrat party Presidential candidate (as they did in 2020), then steal the election (as they did in the 2020 Presidential election, and then Twice in elections for the two US Senators from Georgia). They then intend to proceed to corrupt the laws and weaponize the Government, professional societies, the 'news' media and Big Tech to exert Total Control over everyone.
They are Totalitarians, after all.

I've heard that Beijing is a nice place to retire; there are loads of benefits available to generals who are devoid of honor, character, and loyalty and who have previously proven their worth to the CCP.

Can the joke of a general legally call for execution of a former president? Shouldn’t he be arrested? Isn’t that a threat? Get him for treason and punish as the Constitution specifies.

Check out Section 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice that may apply. In any case if Trump is re-elected he should stay away from the Admirals and Generals, who never won a war, and who “under the covers” are a cross between super bureaucrats and politicians.

A dictator is one who uses personal power to remain in office. Gen Milley is at least 50 pounds over his allowed weight under Army standards. In such case he should have been processed for separation. Yet he used his authority to flaunt the Army’s fitness standards and remain on active duty. Sounds like a petty dictator to me.

If you were to put two portraits, one of General Dwight Eisenhower and the other of General Mark Milley, side by side, you would see that General Eisenhower who was the Supreme Allied Commander during the Second World War in Europe you would notice that General Eisenhower had about three rows of ribbons on his uniform. Now look at General Milley and you will notice that Milley has about ten rows of ribbons and all sorts of other insignia on his uniform. At the end of the Second World War, General Eisenhower was the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe who defeated the Nazis on the Western Front and brought that war theater to a close. In contrast General Milley has won no war and was the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff when Biden effectively surrendered to the Taliban of Afghanistan, certainly not a executive and military retreat that nobody, except extreme leftist Democrat politicians, could legitimately be proud of. All that should tell you something!

Betcha if you skeptics could see an explanation or reason for each piece of spaghetti he wears, you would give him the respect he deserves, That is, he survived basic training. Presently I hear that is one pushup for women, two for men, if you can determine the difference. If not, one on your knees will do.

If Miley had not been a traitor, he wouldn't have said, "Yes, sir!" to Trump's order to leave Syria, then disobeyed that order. He wouldn't have contacted America's enemies behind Trump's back, nor offered them classified access.
Miley is running scared because he KNOWS he deserves to be executed.

The more I considered this event, the more this line of his jabbed my conscience: "We don’t take an oath to a country."
The oath of enlistment for the army is to the Constitution of the United States. Apparently he didn't notice that Americans refer to country and Constitution, interchangeably. Maybe that's why he and other Left-leaning Americans wear such a casual disdain for both and take their oath so lightly.
