Hunter Biden's attorney recently claimed his client "did not share money" from his business dealings with his dad, President Biden, but a 2019 text message and multiple emails appear to contradict this claim. Abbe Lowell, who has been aggressively defending Hunter, said in a recent interview that he can "categorically" declare that President Biden was not involved in Hunter's previous business dealings and did not profit from any of them. "I can tell you that Hunter did not share his business with his dad," Lowell said during a recent CNN interview. "I can tell you that he did not share money from his businesses with his dad.

Coming form a lawyer and a liberal one at that... this PROBABLY means... "Hunter took the money from his business account and deposited it into a PERSONAL account before giving any money to his father".

There are transfers the OTHER way as well, from Joe to Hunter, $thousands at a time, at least one of $100,000. This is signs of "Co-Mingling" of funds, and requires corresponding tax filings from everyone involved to be exact, down to the penny, to be legal. There are even texts from SS Agents, to Hunter, informing him that he had just tried to pay russian dope dealers and Hookers with JOE"S personal credit card, that they were in the lobby of the Hotel he was bingeing in and would get a passkey from the desk if he did not AT ONCE come and meet with them to straighten things out.

As a legal matter it would not matter if NO money went directly or indirectly to Joe. IF the family was selling access to Slow Joe that is a FEDERAL CRINE AND Joe would be guilty of accepting a bribe.

"In order to believe that Biden is innocent of taking bribes for favorable foreign policy decisions, we must ignore his own words, his son’s text messages and emails, all the “spontaneous” meetings, all the whistleblowers and witnesses, and the need for more than 20 shell companies to launder and distribute loot among family members who have no demonstrable skills. Finally, we must believe that $20 million — and probably much more — has been lavished on all of these people except the only one possessed of the power to make it rain." from The American Spectator

The Mafia was smart enough to spread family money around in briefcases full of cash. Apparently the Bidens thought that creating a bunch of shadow corporations was enough cover to hide their activities from the IRS and other professional accountants who make a living by tracing such transactions. If I had to guess which was the dumbest family member, Joe or Hunter, I would have to toss a coin.

Why 2024 Could Become the ‘Competency Election’ 2 replies

During the 1988 presidential campaign, Democrat Michael Dukakis, in accepting his party’s nomination, famously declared that “(t)his election is not about ideology. It’s about competence.” Dukakis sought to assert the declining relevance of what he termed “political labels,” at a time when President Ronald Reagan was set to conclude two terms of conservative executive governance. His efforts to compete on more favorable terrain failed: The Democratic nominee lost in a 40-state, 426-electoral vote landslide to Vice President George H.W. Bush. What proved a futile point of attempted differentiation in 1988 might have greater resonance in 2024. Citizens’ faith in government at all levels

On Tuesday, The Washington Post’s David Ignatius called for pulling the plug on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. “I don’t think Biden and Vice President Harris should run for reelection,” said the man frequently considered the media’s mouthpiece for intelligence agencies. “If he and Harris campaign together in 2024, I think Biden risks undoing his greatest achievement — which was stopping Trump.” Just 10 months ago, Biden and the Democrats had a surprisingly good midterm election. So what has Ignatius — and the deep state apparatus he speaks for — so gloomy? Quite simply, 2023 has not gone according to plan. Democrats were never planning to run on Joe Biden’s accomplishments.

In a raft of glowing reviews, Hunter Biden’s 2019 memoir “Beautiful Things” was celebrated as an “unflinchingly honest” (Entertainment Weekly), “confession and an act of contrition” (Guardian), that was “candid” and “doesn’t hold back details” (New York Times) of his substance abuse and broken relationships. While describing the book as an “unvarnished confessional,” the Washington Post exalted it as a “harrowing, relentless and a determined exercise in trying to seize his own narrative from the clutches of the Republicans and the press. In the years since, testimony from a former business partner, Devon Archer, and newly disclosed emails indicate that the president’s son’s memoir was an exercise in spin

The strategies of saving the Biden presidency from an impeachment and a Senate trial despite overwhelming evidence of his corruption are starting to emerge. The Family is confronted with damning evidence from the laptop, from the testimonies of Hunter’s business associates Bobulinksi and Archer, from Ukrainian oligarchs and Viktor Shokin, from IRS whistleblowers, from FBI writs, from a likely pseudonymous Biden trove of 4,000 emails to his son and associates, and from the absolute paranoia of a White House that must constantly change its narrative of denials to adjust to a growing portrait of utter corruption, bribery, and perhaps even the treason of warping U.S. policy to fit Biden family interests.

It’s hard to look at the photo of 1-year-old Nicholas Feliz-Dominici, who died from fentanyl exposure at a Bronx day care Friday. So handsome with his little suspenders and blue bow tie, his crisp white shirt and tiny sneakers, he looks directly into the camera with a purposeful air. You can tell, just by looking at him, that this was a well-loved child. Just imagine his poor mother, packing his bag for the day, getting him dressed, dropping him off at the new day-care center, giving him a kiss and maybe feeling a little guilty as she heads off to work. Hunter Biden's attorneys filed a lawsuit against the IRS on Monday, alleging that agents have "targeted and sought to embarrass" the president's son. Biden's Monday morning filing cites two major examples in IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, two whistleblowers who claimed the IRS mishandled aspects of its investigation into Biden. Biden's lawsuit seeks for the court to declare that the IRS "willfully, knowingly, and/or by gross negligence, unlawfully disclosed Mr. Biden's confidential tax information." In addition, Biden is demanding $1,000 in damages for "each and every unauthorized disclosure of his tax returns,"

Hunter Biden finally has been indicted and House Republicans have formally turned their sights on President Biden by opening an impeachment inquiry. Those are major developments, but perhaps the most important thing Americans learned last week is that the media is immune to embarrassment. The White House letter demanding that news outlets “ramp up scrutiny” of the GOP revealed the unspoken assumption that the Washington press corps can be counted on to rescue a failing Democratic president. As such, it is a giant insult to the outlets that proclaim themselves free of both fear and favor. How strange, then, that there was nary a peep of media protest over the expectation

Democrats are about to fire President Biden. Are Republicans ready? Washington Post columnist David Ignatius ignited a political firestorm recently by veering off script and writing that Joe Biden should retire — a rare chink in the media bulwark protecting the president. In a follow-up interview, the “Morning Joe” crew echoed concerns about Biden’s age. Others will surely follow; polls showing that Biden might lose to Donald Trump and other GOP 2024 candidates have finally brought Democrats to their senses. Republicans need to prepare for the very real possibility that Joe Biden is forced out of the 2024 race. What does that mean?

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while announcing his 10-point plan to end the plastics pollution crisis, said he would ban fracking. The process of fracking involves high pressure injections of liquid into underground rocks and layers to open fissures and extract oil or gas. The United Nations says each year, 19-23 million tons of plastic waste leaks into waterways, polluting rivers, seas, and lakes. [snip] The move would also drive the price of oil above $150 per barrel, while killing state budgets for energy producing states.
