In his first interview since being acquitted in his impeachment trial in Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton left the door open to launching a primary challenge to Sen. John Cornyn. “To me, he’s been in Washington too long. He’s been there, what, for 14 years or so? And I can’t think of a single thing he’s accomplished for our state or even for the country,” Paxton told Tucker Carlson in a wide-ranging interview that published Wednesday evening on X.
“Why don’t you run against him?” the former Fox News host asked.
“Everything’s on the table for me,” Paxton responded. “Now that I’ve been through this and I’ve seen

Rupert Murdoch today announced that he is stepping down as chairman of Fox and News Corp after 70 years - with second son Lachlan chosen by his father to take over the family's media dynasty.
The Australian-born billionaire, 92, revealed he will move to a new role of Chairman Emeritus, declaring the 'time is right' to take on different responsibilities while insisting 'our companies are in robust health, as am I'.
His son Lachlan, 52, will become the sole chairman of both Fox and News Corp in mid-November - taking on an empire that has made the Murdochs worth an estimated $21.7billion (£17.6billion).

House Republicans failed for the second time this week to pass a procedural hurdle for one of its 12 annual spending bills, a sign of the ongoing chaos over how to fund the government in the next fiscal year.
The Thursday vote failed 212-216, with five Republicans joining Democrats to tank the procedural bill, known as a rules vote. One GOP lawmaker voted "no" in a procedural maneuver to allow the legislation to be brought up again.
The five conservatives who tanked the bill are Reps. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., Eli Crane, R-Ariz., and Matt Rosendale, R-Mont.

Eagle Pass, Texas — According to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has no cohesive enforcement strategy to address the border incursion of more than 2,500 migrants into one Texas border town on Wednesday. The source, not authorized to speak to the media, told Breitbart Texas every Border Patrol station in the region is beyond capacity. The only instructions received from DHS is to quickly process and release the mostly Venezuelan migrants who made landfall in Eagle Pass to a non-government shelter.
Breitbart Texas posted in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, on Wednesday morning and watched as the more than 2,500 migrants moved through

Kamala Harris on Tuesday gave a one-on-one interview with 69 News anchor Wendy Davis during her visit to Reading Area Community College in Pennsylvania.
Harris lied about the climate change crisis and falsely claimed Joe Biden has lowered the cost of living for Americans.
Wendy Davis asked Harris about a recent poll that found Joe Biden is just too old to run for president again. Kamala Harris absurdly claimed young voters don’t think Joe Biden is too old.
“Let me just say this, when I talk to these young voters, what they want is a leader who is in touch with the leaders of today and has a vision

A F-35 jet could have crashed on Sunday due to poor weather in South Carolina, new audio suggests - as questions mount as to why the disastrous training exercise was allowed to proceed.
The F-35B Lightning II which the unnamed Marine pilot was flying is believed to be at risk of malfunctions if it flies in thunderstorms, according to a Forbes investigation in November.
Its sister jet, the F-35A, is more severely affected and cannot fly within 25 miles of lightning.

Fox Business host Larry Kudlow agreed with Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow’s recent editorial about his forthcoming book Breaking Biden arguing that Republicans need to “reset” their narrative about President Joe Biden to focus on his corruption and policy failures rather than his age and gaffes.
In an interview on Wednesday with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Kudlow highlighted Marlow’s opinion piece which was published on Breitbart that morning.
“There’s a very interesting editorial on Breitbart, which is a great news site,” Kudlow said. “The editor Marlow is saying, you know, with respect to Joe Biden that we should switch gears. We shouldn’t be so obsessed with his age or his infirmity

CNN, a far-left propaganda outlet that spreads conspiracy theories and violence, hit an all-time weekend ratings low.
The New York Post:
Ratings-challenged CNN hit rock bottom in a key viewership demographic last weekend — another sign of the difficulties facing incoming boss Mark Thompson.
The cable news network logged its worst weekend ratings on record in the all-important 25- to 54-year-old demo, according to the latest Nielsen data released Tuesday. CNN — which launched in 1980 and bills itself as “the most trusted name in news” — totaled just 55,000 viewers for its weekend slate of shows that include Sunday political programs

Joe Biden has seemingly wandered off the UN stage without shaking hands with Brazil's Lula at the end of a joint speech.
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, 77, looked visibly irritated after the two leaders shared a stage to speak about their initiative to improve workers' rights in each country.
But their diplomatic meeting got off to a labored start when Biden, 80, shuffled into a seven-foot Brazilian flag, leaving it teetering slightly as he approached the podium. The president made a rambling speech about his 'economic vision to rebuild our economy from the middle out and the bottom up, not the top down' while Lula watched on from his right flank.
