Joe Biden on Tuesday appeared to forget the name Maui, referring to the island in a speech in Milwaukee as 'the one where you see on television all the time.' As the death toll rose to 106 as rescuers combed the rubble in Lahaina, Hawaii, the president told the crowd that there were still fires on the Big Island - also known as Hawaii. He pointed out the fires were blazing on the Big Island, not Maui, but appeared to struggle to name Maui.'The Army helicopters helped fire suppression efforts on the Big Island because there's still some burning on the Big Island — not the one that,

I watched an interview of a local man they call Fish. He’s introduced as an old timer everyone knows and loves. He walked north to his home as the fires broke out and he describes walking past a huge traffic jam, no one is moving. When he gets to the front of the line there’s a police blockade. He asks the cop why they are not letting anyone out. The cop says he has orders to not let residents out. Take from this what you will. He seemed pretty credible to me.

Biden will soon start saying he actually saw the fire burn through the town - just like he watched that bridge collapse in Pittsburgh. Better yet, Beau Biden actually died while breathing the smoke from the Maui fires.

So many fishy things about the Lahaina fire. I’m not saying there was a conspiracy, but many of the things we see and hear about this fit perfectly well with a conspiracy. Biden trying to act ignorant is not unusual, but it fits with dubious nature of all the reporting. Funny that.

I guess joe's note card didn't include info about Maui to help him answer questions. That's why we received "no comment" from him at first and this recent debacle out of his mouth. IOW, his handlers neglected to pre-program his response. And the 700 dollars alloted by FEMA is insulting and uncaring. Exactly how far will that money really go? Our government shows itself to be cold and callous once again. My heart breaks for all the people affected by this disaster but I hope that it serves as a wake-up call so they rethink their votes going forward.

CNN’s live coverage of Hurricane Idalia was interrupted by a rubber duck. Seriously. Meteorologist Derek Van Dam was doing a live shot in Tampa Wednesday morning, standing in the middle of a 1-2 foot storm surge when two men casually sailed by on an inflatable camouflage duck – one of the men was paddling with a set of oars and the other appeared to be wearing a pirate’s hat. “So we’re going to step away from this — the seriousness of this storm for just one second,” Van Dam said, as the unique floating device approached. “You’ve got to bear with me because this is something you don’t see every day.”

The American people deserve to be heard on this matter through their elected representatives,” McCarthy told Breitbart News.

President Joe Biden laughed off a question Thursday about whether he would share his bank records with Congressional Republicans who are probing his son Hunter's business deals and threatening with opening an impeachment inquiry. Biden made a surprise visit to FEMA's headquarters in Washington, D.C. amid the agency's Hurricane Idalia response and in the aftermath of the deadly wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui. There the 80-year-old president answered several questions from reporters after bringing pizzas and addressing FEMA's workforce.

Here it is: the biggest missed story of this century is the incredible dumbing down of the American public, to the point where a cripplingly large portion of the adult population is no longer willing or able to exercise independent critical thinking in order to take decisive action on a wide range of issues that shape the direction of our economy, culture, and personal freedoms. Indeed, too lazy and unmotivated to analyze readily available, credible data, far too many people have ceded their personal independence to government dictates — dictates clearly designed to increase government control over the population, rather than having been put in place for

US Border Patrol has arrested at least 91,000 migrants who crossed the overflowing border as part of family groups in August - as detainments rose by 30 percent for two consecutive months. For the first time during Joe Biden's presidency, families were the biggest demographic moving across the US-Mexico border - surpassing single adults. The influx follows his rolling out of new restrictions to slow down illegal crossings. This is more than the previous one-month record of 84,486 set in May 2019, which occurred during Donald Trump's tenure, Washington Post reports.

President Joe Biden is asking Congress to approve $24 billion more in aid for Ukraine, which would bring the total amount of U.S. taxpayer-funded aid to Ukraine since February 2022 to $135 billion. In contrast, Biden announced Wednesday that he would send $95 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to aid in rebuilding Maui after the nation’s deadliest fire in over a century, which has claimed more than 115 lives, with hundreds still unaccounted for.The $95 million is less than one-tenth of one percent of the $135 billion that Biden is seeking to spend on aid to Ukraine in a war that has no end in sight.
