President Joe Biden is asking Congress to approve $24 billion more in aid for Ukraine, which would bring the total amount of U.S. taxpayer-funded aid to Ukraine since February 2022 to $135 billion.
In contrast, Biden announced Wednesday that he would send $95 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to aid in rebuilding Maui after the nation’s deadliest fire in over a century, which has claimed more than 115 lives, with hundreds still unaccounted for.The $95 million is less than one-tenth of one percent of the $135 billion that Biden is seeking to spend on aid to Ukraine in a war that has no end in sight.
The a**H*** needs to keep the funds flowing to the source of his corrupt millions and sends a bare minimum to the people of Maui, the people of OUR country who's lives and livilhood have been almost completely wiped out. The man needs to be in prison, and how people in our country that still supoort and defend him is just beyond the pale. FJB MAGA

Biden: "Eff Hawaii, it's not like they are going to vote for Republicans."
Zelensky: "Keep the money coming Joe. Hunter's freedom depends upon it."

Hmmm. What’s a Democrat in Congress to do? On the one hand, if they don’t award billions to the people of Maui then Hawaiians, not to mention people elsewhere, might just get it in their heads that they’ve been used and abused by Democrats for whom they’ve given almost total control of their lives. Should Democrats throw money at them to shut them up and keep their vote?
On the other hand the totally corrupt criminal Ukrainian leaders need to be appeased. If they don’t get their blackmail money…..oops, if they don’t get money to support their glorious war effort, then they might start blabbing about what Democrat leaders and their wealthy supporters and operatives have been up to regarding all that oil money and the sex trade. And Zelensky might be willing to answer questions about where all those missing children are who were brought into America by the drug cartels.

This flood of lucre hearing Ukraine's way is bound to have made its way into the pockets of various powerful people, some of them here. I'd like to know who in Congress and the Executive Branch is benefiting. This is crime.

Not that the local government of Maui should be rewarded but the people there deserve much better than this and yet, they'll continue to vote for idiot Dems like their mayor, governor, etc.

It's going to take an invasion of the US or zombies running through the streets of America to wake this country up. As the line from the movie goes "Truth? You (they) can't handle the the truth". As long as they are "fat, dumb and lazy, the average citizen is unwilling to connect the dots. Eventually, something really terrible is going to happen, but by then it will be too late.

We've basically hired Ukraine to be our mercenary army against Russia. If they actually wind up winning, we should not be surprised to find them turning that army on us afterwards.

Maui (unlike Ukraine) has no means to line Biden's pockets or cover his felonious six, and Hawaii is no election year swing state, therefore Biden has no (self-serving) reason to offer adequate aid. He could care less. Lahaina was a kitchen fire in his mind.

Of course we should help Maui, but the whole idea that the federal government is the the big source of endless money to rebuild after any and all bad events is a bad concept. People need to have insurance and take care of their own risk management. Uncle Sam is NOT the source of all "fix my booboo" money. That ended when you left home and your Mom and Dad stopped taking care of you. The government is NOT your Mom and Dad.
That said ---
This is a totally ridiculous comparison. Repairing fire damage has absolutely nothing to do with fighting a war.

Speaking of 'percentages', the residents of Maui will reward the Democrat Party and Joe Biden with 90% of their votes in 2024. This is a perfect example of the dumbing down of America.
