Good of him. Maybe in the Second Term he will be less untrustworthy. Because he has no choice.

He should have run for the Kansas senate seat when he had the chance. But like Pence he has delusions of grandeur and actually thought he had a chance to be president. He realized his sniping at Trump wasn’t getting him anywhere.

Odd for him to defend the same person he said this about in a Fox interview: "Trump had classified docs when he shouldn’t have had them, and when given the opportunity to return them he chose not to do that .... That’s inconsistent with protecting America’s soldiers .... some of these were pretty serious, important docs.” But I'm sure he's the unicorn among the former heads of the CIA who is not part of the takedown of our representative republic. Because, gosh, he appears on TBN and tours the Holy Land.

We are in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history. It is as far-reaching and dangerous as the turbulent years of the 1850s and 1860s or the 1930s. Every aspect of American life and culture is under assault, including the very processes by which we govern ourselves, and the manner in which we live. The Revolution began under the Obama administration that sought to divide Americans into oppressed and oppressors, and then substitute race for class victimization. It was empowered by the bicoastal wealth accrued from globalization, and honed during the COVID lockdown, quarantine-fed economic downturn, and the George Floyd riots and their aftermath.

When Ron DeSantis got into a car crash last week, many couldn’t help seeing a morbid irony. The governor’s botched campaign launch set the tone for a spectacular fall from grace. DeSantis was supposed to be the alternative to Trump, the more “electable,” disciplined version who would rescue the country from Joe Biden. DeSantis is now barely scraping by in the double digits and struggling to reassure the wealthy donors who believed he was the key to taking the party back from Trump. On the campaign trail, DeSantis is awkward and unable to connect with voters. The “extremely online

In his novel The Sun Also Rises, Ernest Hemingway’s character Mike Campbell is asked how he went bankrupt. “Two ways,” he says. “Gradually and then suddenly.” That seems to be true, mutatis mutandis, of revolutions too: some are measured, peaceful; some are not. In thirteenth-century England, King John was, roughly speaking, a tyrant. In a move that is considered a significant step toward the development of modern constitutional law and democracy in the Western world, the English barons met John at Runnymede in 1215 and forced him to sign the “Runnymede Agreement,” which established the principle that everyone, including the king, was subject to the law.

As President Joe Biden and his Cabinet fan out across the country touting his economic record, major features of "Bidenomics" would not be possible if not for Republican support in Congress for a $1 trillion dollar infrastructure measure and a U.S. semiconductor production bill. While the Biden administration attempts to frame his economic record as a “middle-out” and “bottom-up” approach to the economy, in contrast to Republican’s economic philosophy, the most popular parts of the president's package of policies were negotiated and ultimately passed with Republican support.

Last week’s visit to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) by the former U.S. Secretary of State and the Biden administration’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John F. Kerry, represents the end of the beginning of a series of high-level Biden administration visits with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders. The purpose of these visits that started with current Secretary of State Antony Blinken in June and included the kowtowing visit by U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen can best be described as the unashamed resumption of the Kissinger School of Engagement with the PRC.

call for a Constitutional Convention of States under Article V of the U.S. Constitution grows louder. The pretext used is the desire to reign in the out-of-control government spending and corruption in Congress. Governments across the globe are nudged by globalists to institute digital currency and, in the U.S., the Constitution stands in the way and it must be modified. Proponents of such a convention even found escapees from communist regimes like Cuba and Venezuela and are using them to make public statements that such a convention would prevent communism from taking hold in this country, a ludicrous idea.

The largest consumer bankruptcy law firm in Illinois and one of the biggest in the country has filed for bankruptcy after taking millions in taxpayer-backed loans meant to help struggling businesses survive the pandemic. The Semrad Law Firm LLC, which markets itself as DebtStoppers, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on April 26 in Delaware, blaming the COVID-19 pandemic. A Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows a company to reorganize under a judge’s supervision and keep operating while paying creditors at least part of what they’re owed.

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday trashed his former boss Donald Trump for allegedly attempting to overthrow the 2020 election — and defended his actions in blocking the ex-president from doing so. “What I want the American people to know is that President Trump was wrong then and wrong now. I had no right to overturn the election,” Pence said on CNN’s “State of the Union” while stumping in New Hampshire. “By God’s grace, I did my duty under the constitution of the United States and I always will.” Pence, along with Congress, certified the election of President Biden as the winner of the 2020 election — over Trump’s objections.

Former Vice President Mike Pence suggested he would be willing to testify against former President Donald Trump in court if he is called upon to do so on Sunday. Pence made the comments during a Sunday appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation," telling host Margaret Brennan that he had no plans to testify against Trump voluntarily, but left the door open nevertheless. "It is a matter of public interest, Mr. Vice President, if this case comes to trial, would you be a witness against the president?" Brennan asked. "You know, I didn't want anything to do with the January 6 committee. That was a partisan committee on Capitol Hill," Pence responded.

The New York Times asked readers what type of animal President Joe Biden would be, and the answers are brutally honest. The results weren’t pretty, given the people answering the question didn’t hold back their honest thoughts on the 80-year-old president. Dinosaur, hippopotamus, and a sloth were just a few of the answers given when describing the president who forgets where he is more than he remembers— and Democrats expressed these about Biden. “A camel. The way he talks, I see the camel’s mouth moving,” said Donnia, an independent from Illinois. “A meerkat,” said Milan, a New Hampshire Independent noted.

Stupidity is increasingly state-sanctioned. Since 2000, the Scottish government has felled around 1,700 trees on a daily basis, all to make way for “green” initiatives. Leave it to the government and their leftist abettors to harp on the “destruction of the environment” then chop down literal trees to create barren wastelands—all to make room for obtrusive, industrial, inanimate behemoths that obliterate all sorts of animal populations, and create massive amounts of environmental pollution (in production, maintenance, and disposal).

McConnell’s appearance at the picnic comes amid recent questions about his health and political future. Late last month, he froze mid-sentence during a press conference in the US Capitol and had to be led away from the podium by his fellow senators and his aides. The Republican leader, 81, later returned and answered questions from the press, telling CNN’s Manu Raju, “I’m fine.”

The juxtaposition of the Department of Justice’s handling of Hunter Biden with its outrageous treatment of Donald J. Trump justifies Scott Adams's view: "We can now see all of the machinery of government, from influence peddling to fake news to intel-supported hoaxes to political persecutions.” Diving even deeper, as have Jonathan Turley, James Freeman, Dan Bongino, and David Samuels, it’s beginning to look as if Barack Obama knew of Hunter’s corruption and the danger it posed to national security and did nothing about it. In exchange, he’s serving a third term as president behind the scrim while the demented present officeholder serves as a front.
