Two U.S. Navy sailors were arrested on national security-related charges related to allegedly sending sensitive military information to the Chinese Communist Party, federal officials said on Thursday.
“These individuals stand accused of violating the commitments they made to protect the United States and betraying the public trust, to the benefit of the [People’s Republic of China] government,” Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, said in a news release.U.S. Navy Sailor Jinchao Wei, an active-duty machinist’s mate on the amphibious U.S.S. Essex assault ship

How about a military court martial, followed by, if guilty, a firing squad?

USN sailors Jinchao Wei and Wenheng Zhao turned out to be ChiCom spies.....why that is SHOCKING!
/s off
I'm thinking that perhaps the names should have gotten them some extra tight scrutiny BEFORE they were allowed to sign up. Nah.....couldn't do that, that would be ray-siss, I'll bet.

This is the navy. Penalty for treason is hanging from the yardarm, yes? The romans placed heads on pikes so that all could see penalties paid.

Just following the lead of their Commander in Chief. And probably for a lot smaller payoff than the "big guy" got.

" The defendant betrayed his sacred oath to protect our country and uphold the Constitution,"
The same oath that our elected Congressmen and Senator take and violate every day.
Senator Clyburn "Most of what we down here isn't even mentioned in the Constitution, but we do it anyway."

Oooops, you mean to say that the vegetable is attempting to look 'busy' even while on vacation? On top of that making some sailors look as if they did something really bad with China? Right. This dementia corpse's handlers thought it would look good for the decaying vegetable.

So.... were these two born here, or are they Chinese imports?
Not surprised that their allegiance is to China.
Were they sent over as spies?
This demonstrates the wisdom (although the Leftists squall) of interning the Japanese imports in WWII.
Before the Pearl Harbor attack, there was a Japanese man who rode around Pearl Harbor on a bicycle and sent a report to the Japanese as to what ships were in harbor, I understand this was a day or two before the attack.
I salute those of Japanese descent who volunteered to fight in the European theatre, but to just let all these people wander around, and staking the Nation's survival that not ONE of them would send critical information to our enemy Japan.... that's putting the nation at unnecessary risk.
But.... NEVER FORGET.... and for some younger readers, dig in and learn about how Bill Clinton, the Horndog, transferred export control of the satellite-launching rocket guidance systems FROM the State department (which kept the system designs secure), TO the Commerce department, which readily agreed to sell the guidance systems to the ChiComs, so that the Chicoms could guide their rockets to launch satellites (and undercut US companies Boeing and Lockheed). But those guidance systems are the same ones, reprogrammed, that are used to guide ICBM's onto cities halfway across the world.
At the same time, Clinton's Energy Department sponsored 'exchange scientists' with Communist China, and Chicom scientists were working at 'non-classified' parts of the Los Alamos lab, where our atomic warheads are designed. Then, Clinton's Energy Secretary, a black woman whose name I do not remember, toured the lab and raised a stink about the color-coded access badges, screaming that the color-coding was 'RACIST'. So, all the badges were remade to be the same color, which made it much easier for people to get into areas where they were not supposed to go. Sure enough, a year or two later, there were reports in the Media that the Chinese Communists had 'obtained' the designs for the W87 and W88 atomic warheads, the most advanced warheads in our atomic arsenal.
So, the HornDog, (for a modest campaign contribution, of course) enabled the Chinese Communists to go from a country that could not guide a rocket, and could not put at atomic warhead on one, to a country that could put an ICBM precisely where they wanted to, and could arm that ICBM with a multiple-atomic-warhead payload.
I recently read that China now has 1,000 ICBM's, each one with multiple atomic warheads, in silos and ready to launch.
Gee, I wonder where they are programmed to explode?
Thanks Bill!
Thanks, Hillary!
You have done MORE to put America in MORTAL DANGER than any other American in history!

Re #11....thank Nixon, who opened up China, prodded by huge globalist Henry Kissinger. The globalists set up China to be on the path to take down the USA, starting 50+ years ago.
They have been working to that end, with China, ever since.

#12: You are correct. I remember cringing at the time, when Nixon opened the door to China, and immediately we began buying goods from China giving them the money they needed to build their economy and military. I knew at the time it was building up our enemy. Hard not to see it. I detest strongly Kissinger and the rest of the globalist evil doers.

We don’t know much about those two supposed US Navy sailors who are reportedly been identified as being naturalized U.S. Citizens. Most immigrants can apply for naturalized US Citizenship three to five years of permanent residence (being a green card holder). Following that administrative process is completed, and in this case they really could well be duel citizens or nationals who also hold citizenship in the People’s Republic of China. As today most immigrants to the USA who apply for naturalized U. S. Citizenship simply also retain their birth country citizenship. Usually those facts are simply ignored in the USA. In those instances the immigrants retain a travel document (passport) from their birth country along with a second U.S. passport that they use to come and go from the USA as they wish as a U.S. passport exempts them from the US immigration and visa laws. Once outside the USA those people will usually utilize their birth country passport as their primary travel document, especially to reenter and depart from their home country. There is the oath that immigrants are required to take during the application for naturalized US citizenship that says that they will give up all the foreign citizenships and foreign allegiances that they may have, but that is usually never enforced by the US Government until something like this one comes to light that the supposed naturalized US citizen is found to be a foreign spy. Just saying!

Nixon went to Chinar, but it was Bush I who served as the first informal ambassador circa 1975 and made sure his friends got in on the ground floor. And made sure China walked toward MFN status without any concessions on individual liberties or freedoms. China's infestation of DC and the federal government ran right through Kennebunkport since the mid 70s.
As to these two guys, some leniency. Keelhauling. Preferably televised.

Those FBI top security clearances are sure hard to come by. Just ask any one from the Trump administration. Does not apply to Chinese spies though.
