President Biden and former President Trump are tied in a hypothetical 2024 rematch, but each remain unpopular with voters, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll released Tuesday.
If the 2024 presidential election were held today, both Biden and Trump would receive 43% support overall from registered voters surveyed. However, both men continue to have high disapproval numbers, with 54% of voters disapproving of Biden and 55% of Trump, according to the survey.
The national poll was published roughly 15 months before the election on Nov. 5, 2024, and less than six months before the first primary contest. Despite those high unfavorable ratings,

Sounds like they are starting to lay the psychological ground work to make it plausible to the masses Biden will get 80+ million votes again.

OUR polls repeatedly appear to show Trump overwhelmingly beating all potential comers. We should view all these polls as dangerous. We cannot become complacent. That will only serve to let the DImocrat fraud succeed again.

Total freakin insanity. The only people who would vote for Biden have to be on the government payroll. What do people not understand about the damage democrats have done to our country and our society in the last 3 yrs. Pathetic.

It is sad but undeniable that a large number of people, some actually legal citizens and potential voters, will still reflexedly choose a democrat candidate. This regardless of that candidate’s obvious dishonesty and incompetence.

That headline is a sure coffee spitter. The only way Trump loses the primaries or the election is vote fraud. That’s it. That’s all there is.

Not surprised. Take into account all the propaganda and brainwashing. Take into account all the people addicted to other people's money. Take into account the social justice crowd looking for favoritism. Take into account all the greenies out to save the planet. Take into account all the confirmed Communists and Marxist out to destroy the country. Take all the illegals that have been registered to vote. On top of all that add in the voter fraud.
Biden gets 70-80 million votes just like last time. Maybe even more. Probably wins too unless the Republican party changes strategy. Oh, they are fine following Democrat 'leadership'. They are just the opposite side of the same dirty coin. Probably too late anyway. The groundwork needed to be laid a couple years ago.

Agree with all.
By the headline, they are putting 2 potential “criminals” against each other.
Watch: the Pravda media will spin the Huncher’s father’s sins (lying, cheating, general grifting, and perhaps treason) are a LOT less egregious than having documents, you are authorized to have, in a secure location in your home.

If the NYTs says a Democrat is tied with a Republican, that means the Democrat is way behind, as this is the least the NYTs will ever admit.

I cannot understand how both are receiving the same measly 43%. No matter how clueless they are can’t people remember how just a few years ago, even with the Covid pot hole, the country was far better off than after Biden took charge?

If true, that is the death knell for our republic. We can survive a lot of things, but not rampant stupidity.

This is not so much disapproval of Trump as it is the left disapproving of the rest of us. This is national division that has been stoked for various reasons, and could be remedied but those guilty are not interested. fwiw, the right is not equally guilty - most of us are ready to be friends but find others apparently neck deep in a cult where they will lose their friends if they associate with the OTHER. Few of us do that. The fault is not equal.

I only see snippets of the NYT and the WaPo, but I am amazed when they finally catch up and print something informed people knew a while back.

The only thing Biteme and Trump might come close to being tied is in age. To have a poll suggesting that Biteme and Trump are tied if the election was held now is so absurd it's laughable. Who did they ask to get these results? The student body at Siena and the staff of the New York Times?

Polls, schmolls. Liars and trolls. Freckles and moles. Greasy egg rolls.
Hard to trust the reported counts after the vote, but impossible to trust the prognosticating figures or what distortions are woven out of them by professional political statisticians.
