Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s own ‘Never Back Down’ super PAC could soon morph into ‘Not Backing DeSantis’, with controversial consultant grifter Jeff Roe reportedly telling donors unhappy with the Florida Governor’s dismal polling that he may pivot to supporting Tim Scott, or even Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.
The National Pulse’s own sourcing on this matter was also confirmed by Caroline Wren, senior advisor to Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who says Roe has been telling disgruntled donors that Never Back Down could “support other candidates than just Ron DeSantis, which is a strange thing to say unless you’re starting to lay the groundwork of a potential DeSantis exit.”

It sounds like DeSantis has one foot in the grave.

No irony there, huh?
But then leftists and RINOs never name their organizations or their legislation what they actually intend for it to be.

I want to know how the DeSantis campaign came to this point. This does not make sense!

Consultants, one should remember, are in the game only for themselves.

Major Ego Test.
What's more of an influence on De Santis - - his own massive ego - - or the good of the country and the party?
His reaction will reveal everything.

I agree with #4. This makes absolutely no sense. DeSantis has a proven track record. He has taken on the establishment and “woke”, the LGBTQ agenda in the schools and libraries, the teacher’s Union, the Disney Corporation, etc. etc. He served honorably in the military, is well educated and has a beautiful family. DeSantis is an attractive candidate who worked tirelessly to discredit the Mueller investigation. Trump has attacked him unmercifully with the typical half truths and mischaracterizations. The media wants Trump to be the candidate. They beat him before and feel they can beat him again. An honorable man like DeSantis would be a greater challenge and maybe more of a risk. What am I missing? Someone has pulled the plug and for what reason?

I live in Virginia and NO to Youngkin. He can take his red vest after he leaves the governor's mansion in Richmond and go away the his term ends. He only got elected because ex Gov McAuliffe out his foot in his mouth when at a debate said that children belong to the teachers and the schools (I paraphrase). Youngkin got lucky in getting elected.
He is pushing these huge data centers that suck up a LOT of electricity in this state and his conies are ignoring the will of the various townspeople who are rejecting these data centers. He's one of these all of the above energy guys when he's done nothing along with his Commonwealth Attorney General Jason MIyares to stop this huge windfarm off of Virginia Beach. He and his AG did nothing to help the conservative Supreme Court justices still being harassed by Lefties. And he wasn't even smart enough to prepare when on a CNN new show and got surprised by some tyranny teenager attacking him about his trans policy for govt schools.
NO NO NO to Youngkin.

Count me on board also. This doesn’t make sense. I’m not a DeSantis supporter but I still respect and admire all he’s done as governor and I refuse to badmouth him. He’s a wonderful backbencher we can call on as a leader in a few years.
I repudiate these efforts to destroy this man. He’s one of our shining stars.

I am on board with posters 7 & 9. It is very frustrating to see this kind of willful intra-party destruction.
Conservatives may be right on all the national issues, but they often make for lousy political strategists.

Ron, I'd look at 2024 as practice for 2028. Learn your lessons well. And stay clear of the RINOs.

John 58 is correct. Karl Rove waved money in DeSantis’s face. Also convinced him of what a young dashing “Kennedy-type” family he had that would put him in the WH. America is much more cynical now than it was in the early 60s. We now know we are up against Communists in our own country everywhere, not just in Cuba. We want a junk yard dog who will protect us and turn this mess around…..not Camelot. Go back to Florida Ron and do a good job for those people.

But the problem is, # 15, that American voters don't elect junk yard dogs.
