On Thursday, CNN hosts Poppy Harlow and Boris Sanchez blamed climate change for the recent surge in gas prices with the former saying that the surge in prices is a reason “to get it in check when it comes to climate change.”
On “CNN This Morning,” CNN Chief Business Correspondent Christine Romans stated, “There [are] a couple of things happening here: They’re still well below last year. Last year, at this time, we were hitting record highs, right? $4.30, last year, at this time, today, they’re $3.71. They’ve been jumping overnight. Some of these jumps have been pretty big.

Trying to put Climate change in check is the main cause for the price surge. Stop the insane anti-energy policies and prices will drop.

Destruction of our energy independence is the reason for the price hike.
The major reason for that was Democrats cheating in our election.

Well I'll be! It isn't supply and demand but climate that dictates everything. Time to throw out that Paul Samuelson college economics textbook

These two geniuses need to go back to high school and take a few lessons in Economics and learn about "Supply and Demand". Our glorious leader shut down oil production and importation thereby lowering supply here and now buying it from the international market. Places like Venezuela, our dear friends. It has nothing to do with Climate Change.

No it's now global warming, prices change only because of a change in supply or demand, or because of an increase in the money supply (inflation),

CNN thinks heir low ratings are also due to climate change. They don't realize that the root cause is channel change.

Last time we peons complained about the price of gasoline we were told to get an EV. That Corvette in Quid Pro Joe's garage isn't electric. Air Force One isn't electric. Well I'm trying to help. I have an electric toothbrush.

Resident Joe Biden to We the People complaining about high gas prices, "Listen fats here's the deal. High gas prices are due to climate change because my buddies over at CNN told you so. Also, it's Trumps fault and Hunter is still the smartest person I know."

A price surge in gas. . .caused by climate change. . .uh-huh. Any dunderhead could see this point in time coming when bejing biden sabotaged America's oil exploration, leasing, and production as one of the first things after illicitly obtaining office in January 2020. Diapers handler's raiding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is the only reason prices haven't stayed high all this time, and it's almost tapped out. But, this is CNN, whose audience has the IQ of a rock, so. . .

CNN should do better research. Since I've been driving and buying my own gasoline, prices always rise in August, just because it's August. The last of the summer vacation, and the chance to up the cost to consumers for the helluvit.

The only climate change causing a spike in gas prices is POLITICAL climate. The rancid smell of MSM gaslighting is overpowering here.
GFYCNN.

They have REALLY been pushing climate change this year, like centuries before us haven't mattered at all in the evolution of the Earth. One might suspect that there's an urgent agenda behind it.

Funny thing, the price of electricity is also skyrocketing. They almost had me believing that it would be the super fuel of the future that was going to fix everything from killer CO2, the rise of the oceans, forest fires and child hunger to crime in the inner city.
